Connecting Through Food and Conversation
Kristina Robbins
FOUNDER
Found in Los Angeles, CA, Sweet Antelope is a beautiful event space that offers unique experiences for your wedding, shower, and rehearsal dinner that is more than a meal. It is the moment two families and circles of friends come together for the first time. At Sweet Antelope, we create an experience that transforms that gathering into something meaningful, memorable, and deeply personal.
Set in our historic Los Angeles Craftsman home and garden, the evening begins with cocktails and appetizers among the greenery of our little farm. From there, guests gather around the table for a seasonal meal, where food and story intertwine to spark connection.
Here is what makes the night unforgettable: we weave storytelling into the flow of dinner. A professional storyteller begins with a true, personal tale that sets a theme, something we craft with you to reflect your story as a couple. Between courses, guests are invited to share their own memories and experiences around that theme.
The result is one conversation, shared by everyone at the table. Instead of polite small talk, your family and friends bond over stories that matter. By the time your wedding day arrives, the room is filled with instant recognition, inside jokes, and the warmth of genuine connection.
At Sweet Antelope, we believe sustainability is not just about food; it is about people. A thriving community, like a thriving food system, is built on care, intention, and renewal. Your rehearsal dinner is the perfect moment to begin building that community, and we are here to make it unforgettable.
And it does not stop there. We bring the same love and intention to engagement dinners, bridal showers, and bachelor or bachelorette parties. However you choose to gather, we will help you create a celebration that feels thoughtful, joyful, and full of connection.

- Kristina RobbinsFounderKristina Robbins is a self-trained chef, gardener, and community builder passionate about connecting people through shared experiences. In 2020, as the isolation of the pandemic continued, she put her head down and got to work building a regenerative microfarm in her backyard while dreaming of reconnecting with loved ones through what she considers one of the most sacred social gatherings: the dinner party. In 2023, Kristina founded the Sweet Antelope Storytelling Supper Club to extend the healing power of connection over the dinner table to more than just her friends and family. With a background in filmmaking and improvisational theater, she created a storytelling format that engages guests in an experience that goes beyond just the farm-to-table food.
- Nick HigginsGrounds KeeperNick was the cinematographer for the Academy Award winning documentary OJ: Made in America. He received an Emmy nomination in the non-fiction cinematography category for his contribution to this 8 hour film. Outside of his film work, Nick is passionate about restoring vintage furniture and practicing sustainable living through composting. At Sweet Antelope, he plays an essential role in maintaining the historic craftsmen space, ensuring it remains both welcoming and thoughtfully preserved for guests.

Her goal is simple: to take care of the details so you can be fully present for the moments that matter most. While weddings are her specialty, she loves making every kind of gathering feel meaningful and stress-free. With hands-on experience as an event coordinator, florist, baker and photographer, Caitlyn is known for her ability to blend flawless logistics with an artistic eye, ensuring every celebration not only runs seamlessly but looks stunning from every angle. From lush arrangements to the smallest table details, she ensures each space feels welcoming, beautiful and true to you. For her, it’s not just about planning parties, it’s about creating memories.
- Emily MarchandEvent StylistEmily Marchand envelops ceramics, cooking, and community organizing in her art practice. Inspired by the native and manufactured landscapes of Los Angeles, she makes colorful forms embedded with vegetables, fruits, eggs, flora, and fauna. Her sculptures, wall works, and vessels consider tenderness and care as strategies to access a range of emotions with a timely focus on both joy and grief. What began as an investigation and exploration into Big Agriculture, seed banks, and food scarcity has inspired a closer look into her own relationship to her community through food, cooking, gardening, and feeding friends and unhoused neighbors. Adjacent to her art practice, she cooks for a living as a food stylist and as a volunteer for local non-profit organizations feeding the unhoused community including Brown Bag Lady, Downtown Women’s Center, and MEND Poverty. Emily Marchand (b. 1982 Sacramento, CA) earned an MFA from California Institute of the Arts Valencia, CA and a BA from University of California in Los Angeles, CA. I recently booked a team dinner at Sweet Antelope, and I wanted to express how absolutely delighted we were with the entire experience! From the moment we received a personal greet...
ing at the door to the lovely homemade granola we were gifted as we left, every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a warm, inviting, and truly unique evening. My team were completely blown away.
Kristina and her staff were so incredibly attentive and welcoming. It was remarkable how the experience managed to feel both more exclusive than a typical fancy Los Angeles dinner and as comfortable as dining in a close friend's home.
Our storyteller, Chris, was charismatic and spoke so eloquently to the theme I chose for my team, which was community and belonging. His contribution truly enhanced the evening.
And, of course, the food was simply outstanding. Having appetizers and cocktails in the garden where some of the ingredients are harvested is such a unique and special experience, especially right in the heart of the city!
I wholeheartedly recommend Sweet Antelope to anyone looking for a memorable and exceptional experience.

We held a brand event at Sweet Antelope and it couldn't have gone better. Throughout the entire process, Kristina was the picture of collaboration, from developing the menu to plan...
ning out the decor, to curating influencers for our guest list. She even helped to name our event (The Zestable Vegetable Garden Supper Club).
Like any creative endeavor, things either come out better than you expected or not as well as you'd hoped. This was better than we could've ever imagined. A++
