If I can give negative stars I would! SO I finally got a chance to write it, it’s been bottling up in my mind.. this place was the place we got as part of the wedding package with ...
Ontario Airport hotel then (3/3/2019).. we got everything under a paper stating our wedding date.. we were excited, we were ecstatic about the whole experience, and then it came THE DAY.. THE ONLY THING RUINING MY WEDDING DAY, if you think the cake came ugly, I would rather have a cake, THIS PLACE DOES NOT EVEN SEND US ANYTHING ON MY WEDDING DAH AT ALL!!!!! At all.. and the sadistic part about it, Ontario airport hotel wedding crew give us permission to contact the cake place as they try to contact them but they couldn’t get a hold of them and they never get to the bottom of the problem.. so when we went and try to talk to the owner, he had the original agreement paper and the date literally was wrote there, we got the pink copy and HE LIES AND ADDED ANOTHER DATE ON THE ORIGINAL PAPER STATING WHATEVER WE NEED IT FOR… the copy says it all, if it’s not on the pink copy that mean he add the date after the 2 other carbon copy was ripped from the original.. he stand by that and won’t even give us anything but a birthday cake as a replacement.. honestly if a cake place can ruin your big day like that they shouldn’t even stay in that business.. they know it’s a special for a couple who trust them to make their cake there, they should respect it that way too.. it is long but I still can’t get over it, I can not stand the lie and the owner being irresponsible like that, and the reason why I wrote it today because I don’t want another couple to go through my experience… and I am one of those that gives people a lot of real compliments and being understanding, if you see all my reviews I would never talk smack about a business unless it is way too hurtful..
My wife and I got married in October (2019) at the Mission Inn Hotel and were SO lucky to have found Luis and SweetArt Cakes. Luis and his team seriously know their stuff. After tr...
ying multiple cake tastings at different bakeries, it was clear immediately that SweetArt Cakes was our top choice. Luis was quick with communication over email/text/phone. After I set up our tasting, we decided what we wanted and it was simple as that. Luis’ cakes (for the cake/number of slices we wanted) was an average price for bakers in the area. However, his cake did not taste average-it was spectacular. During my tasting, I tried multiple cakes and fillings and seriously had a hard time choosing. The cake in the tasting and at the wedding was extremely fresh, moist, and delicious. He hand makes his fillings and buttercream and you can tell. It doesn’t taste like any cake you can get at the store-it tasted special. The two extra special surprises for me, were that after our tasting he informed me that he could do 3 different types of cakes/fillings for my 3 tiers at no extra charge!!! It was amazing and so fun to have 3 different flavors and our guests loved it as well. People complimented us about our cake for weeks! The other special thing is that they will give you a mini cake on your 1 year anniversary. My wife and I are so looking forward to that special treat. I gave Luis an exact picture of what I wanted for the design (something fairly simple) and he made the vision come right to life! Handling payments with him was also very simple. If I had questions, I called and he answered them right away. The cake was delivered perfectly on the day of-no issues. Luis knows the Mission Inn well, so I didn’t have to worry about a thing when it arrived. Overall, out of trying 5 bakers, Luis and Sweet Art Cakes were an obvious top choice and we are so happy we chose to work with him for our wedding! Another major plus was that he and his company gave us no issues being an LGBTQ couple and we really appreciated that.
My husband and I ordered our 3 tier wedding cake from Sweet Art Cakes and it was a huge hit at our wedding! It was moist and so delicious. We were very happy with how the cake turn...

Also, a cool perk about this place is that on your one year anniversary, you can go back to the shop and they will gift you with a layer of the flavored cake that you ordered. Throw away the tradition of freezing the top layer and get a fresh one instead! Pretty cool! The owner is so friendly and helpful!
Would definitely recommend!

and what they had to offer! The staff was very helpful and explained to us what we could do with our cake. I am a graphic designer and wanted to design my own wedding cake. I gave them my design idea and they made it perfect. The cake looked amazing and most importantly, it was delicious! I definitely recommend Sweet Art Cakes!

We used Gourmet Gourmet catering and our cake was included in our package, we had the choice of 2 bakery's and went with Sweet Art after our first meeting with DeQuincy. He was ama...
zing! He told us that we could basically do anything that we wanted as long as it wasn't fondant. The cakes are super tasty and moist and there are a ton of flavors. On our second visit we chose some additional flavors to sample and designed our cake with the help of DeQuincy. He helped us every step of the way and was so entertaining and enthusiastic. We had a special hand made topper made that cost us about $100 which would be my only complaint that it was a little expensive but it was definitely worth it when we saw it on the day of and it was exactly what we wanted. Do not even bother wasting time looking anywhere else just go to sweet art!

Sweet Art works independently, but they also work with the Shilo Hilltop Suites as part of the packages, if you choose. They are not exclusive. However, the price with the Shilo ...
package is much better than if you were to go it alone.
We had 230 guests and a 4 tier cake. Each tier was a THREE layer cake, and we got to choose a different flavor combo for each tier.
One tier was a lemon cake with raspberry in the center. I normally hate lemon and raspberry, but this was delicious.
One tier was red velvet with cream cheese in the center. Delicious.
One tier was marble cake with mocha in the center. I'm not a fan of mocha, ever, but this was my husband's favorite tier.
Finally, we had a chocolate cake with champagne custard in the center and that was my favorite.
All of that was covered with a delicious buttercream frosting and each tier was decorated beautifully. They even included our monogram on the cake.
I truly was in love with my cake. Madly in love with it. One of the first things my husband said was "OMG, did you see the cake?!?".
We got SO MANY compliments. It didn't just look good, it was also delicious.
Additionally, when we went for our tasting, they were so friendly and helpful. I would definitely use them again!

he wedding. The design was wonderful and they actually matched the colors on the cake to the colors in my wedding invitation. I was wonderful not to have to worry in the least about the cake on the day of the wedding.

y made for me. I had a huge cake that fed 150 people for half the price of the first vendor I chose. The cake was delicious and so beautiful. My wedding planner had them do a design from my custom invitations and they matched it perfectly. I hate fondant so they were able to still have the look for a fondant cake but it was made out of all real whip cream! They were truly amazing!
All I can say is I had so much fun picking out the cake and on the day it was way more beautiful than I could ever had imagined it! And it was delicious......
The cake was beautiful and delicious!
It was hard to find a talented baker who can make a perfect swedish princess (marzipan) wedding cake...and we lucked out! Susanne is amazingly talented, friendly, and easy to work...
with. She made our cake perfectly. I thought it was the most beautiful cake (and best tasting) I have ever seen. We were extremely happy with her. Susanne is very professional as well. She dedicated her undivided attention/time to sit with us to create our cake. She even baked us several samples of her work so we could not only see her talent first hand, but also taste it. Everything she makes was tastefully done with careful attention! She even made mini sugar free cake for my father who is diabetic. He said it was excellent.;Absolutely NOTHING!
