Ben and I met Jayme and Sweet Basil Productions at my little sister's wedding in Ault Park, Cincinnati. We were so amazed by the video she put togehter that we just HAD to ask her to make the trip out to Colorado to film our special day. Thank god she was available to do it! She was so wonderful throughout the whole process and really took the time to get to know us as a couple and capture the moments that were important to us. Jayme and Nick were extremely easy to work with and made us feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. Jayme helped put together our first look along with us reading our letters to each other immediately after and I am so thankful for her ideas and help to make that moment so special. I can’t even begin to put into words how AMAZING our cinematic turned out. She pays such close attention to detail and it truly shows in our video. We love how she is able to incorporate our letters, speeches, and ceremony as the sound in the background. We cannot stop watching our video and feel like it is the closest thing we have to reliving our wedding day! Sweet Basil exceeded all of my expectations for documenting my best friends wedding! Jayme and her team made everyone feel so comfortable and captured such amazing moments that we would have never been able to experience again if it weren’t for them! Sweet Basil's work is simply phenomenal. Jayme and her team were professional, kind, and fun to have around on our wedding day. Not to mention the video... It still makes me cry to this day. We chose Sweet Basil Pro to capture our best day ever and it was the BEST DECISION EVER!! Most of my friends essentially got married within 2 years and it was split 50/50 on those who "splurged" on wedding videography, but in the end... we decided it was worth the splurge. And let me just say, "worth it" does not even begin to cover it when it comes to the amazing work of Jayme and her team!! We looked at loads of different videographers, but after finding the Sweet Basil website, I found myself crying and getting chills watching videos (of people I didn't even know) and just felt like this team was the one. Jayme was awesome to work with throughout the process- when I contacted them it was somewhat late in the game because we had a shorter engagement and they were already very busy with bookings during wedding season. However, Jayme was incredibly accommodating and agreed to capture our weekend- and we felt like we'd won the lottery! We decided to go with the package that included recording of both our rehearsal night and wedding day and we are SO SO HAPPY that we can now remember every moment of our favorite weekend. There were so many amazing, special little moments throughout that weekend that Jayme and her team managed to capture and that we never could have remembered amidst the chaos of the day. The team blended in to the crowd and honestly sometimes I forgot they were there with cameras and not just part of the party. That being said, they were also working like crazy behind the scenes to capture the thoughtful details we put so much time into during the planning process. Looking back now (a year later!) at all of our extensive raw footage, directors cut, and cinematic videos, we are so incredibly grateful for Jayme and the Sweet Basil Pro team. They commemorated our wedding in the most creative, beautiful, and thoughtful way that we will cherish throughout our lives. We truly felt that they encapsulated the raw emotions and joy that were present throughout the weekend, as well as making this a very personalized and unique process. I couldn't have imagined a better partner to capture all the great memories from my sister's wedding! Sweet Basil was communicative, easy to work with, and professional as Jayme and her partner captured details of the space and guests. While the photographer got some great posed shots, I am SO thankful Jayme was there to get speeches, candid moments, and more full memories of the venue and guests that would have been lost. I've seen some of her other work and cried at couple's videos who I don't even know, and I can't even fully put into words of what a great decision it was to have Jayme there for my own family's event. As a same-sex couple finding the right videographer we felt comfortable with and who could bring our love to life in video was really important to us; we decided on Sweet Basil Productions after really connecting with Jayme's cinematic style and couldn't have been happier with our choice! Throughout the whole process Jayme was very informative and immediately responsive to any questions we had. On the day of she went out of her way to meet us at The Banks during a busy Reds game before our wedding at Rhinegeist. We were so glad to have Sweet Basil Productions capture our wedding day. I'm not a big fan of being filmed, but Jayme and her partner made us feel very relaxed. They captured so many details that would have otherwise been lost. The video she created is a true work of art, and we will enjoy it for decades to come.

We had such a blast working with Jayme from Sweet Basil Productions. Throughout the entire process, she was professional, kind, and reassuring. On the big day, her partner and she showed up early and got acquainted with the venue. They dressed appropriately for a wedding and were incredibly polite to all my guests. As the bride, Jayme made me feel so comfortable (which is not my normal state when cameras are pointed at me). And, oh my goodness, the final result was gorgeous! She caught all the little moments, all those quick glances, giggles, and touches that are truly magical. I wasn't sure I needed a videographer, but I am so glad we had Sweet Basil Productions there. I honestly believe that if we had gone with any other videographer we would not have received as beautiful of a wedding cinematic as we did. We could instantly tell how much work Jayme put into our video and were so impressed by the audio and visual quality. She captured the heart of our big day and successfully makes us tear up every time we watch it. The footage will be something we cherish for the rest of our lives. Having Sweet Basil Productions film our wedding day was one of the greatest decisions we could have ever made. Choosing Sweet Basil to capture our special day on video was truly the best decision we made. Jayme did an absolutely AMAZING job as the videographer for our wedding, and the cinematic she put together for us is so perfect!! Everything flowed together seamlessly and the way she was able to weave in music and the speeches and my husband and I reading letters to each other is so so cool. She didn't miss a single moment and her team even had a drone to capture stunning views of the city, church and venue! Jaime and Sweet Basil Productions did such an amazing job on our wedding video! I almost didn't get wedding videography due to budgeting reasons but Sweet Basil is very affordable for great coverage! Jayme and Greg did an absolutely an amazing job with our wedding! We purchased to have a video of the rehearsal dinner, the whole ceremony, as well as a full cinematic. We can't stop watching the cinematic with the drone shots and amazing footage that they got.
