About this vendor
Sweet Briar Farm is a rustic and elegant wedding venue located in Linden, TX. This gorgeous barn venue is ideal for couples seeking to escape the hustle of the big city. Surrounded by Texan pine woodland, this site allows you to be one with nature as you celebrate the coming together of two families. With a plethora of indoor and outdoor space, this spacious property makes for unforgettable celebrations of love that are cherished forever.
This 19th-century barn has been owned by the Cates family since the 1890s. Once a former cattle farm, this site has been beautifully renovated to host life’s most sacred events. For those seeking to make the most of the Lone Star State sunshine, the outdoor patio space makes for tranquil and intimate ceremonies. As the sunlight elegantly shines through the pine woods, you and your partner can exchange vows as family and friends watch on. This outdoor space then makes for picture-perfect photo opportunities and cocktail hours. As the sun lowers over the rolling hills, you and your family can converse and create everlasting memories. As you and your guests stroll through the barn’s large wooden doors, you will be greeted by a welcoming and expansive barn space. Complete with floor-to-wall windows, stone flooring, and high ceilings, this charming area gives you the platform to dance the night away. The barn’s beautiful windows allow natural light to flow throughout and offer spectacular views of the surrounding woodland. The barn can be configured in several ways and has ample space for seated guests, a dance floor, and live entertainment.
Upon booking your big day at Sweet Briar Farm, their events staff and coordinators will be on-hand to ensure that your wedding runs without a hitch. You can make use out of the farm’s item resources including chairs, tables, and much more. You may rent the property for the entire weekend to give you enough time to decorate and design before the big moment arrives. For further convenience, virtual tours of the barn can be arranged to make sure that the site is ideal for your wedding festivities.

d not deter you from checking this place out. The wedding venue itself is very pretty and can be dressed up or down according to your dream day. Toni and Holly are absolutely amazing with the flowers and decorations. Our daughter's wedding was absolutely perfect and we were able to enjoy the entire event and not worry with anything!

ctable weather issues, these two ladies were patient, compassionate, and encouraging as our daughter took her Plan A dream wedding and put Plan B into action. Toni also did an incredible job with the flowers and added touches to the decor we provided. She can do it all, and do it beautifully. Sweet Briar Farm will not disappoint.

its floor to ceiling glass doors, fire pit outside, and overall beauty overlooking a woodsy area. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking in the area. Also, the venue has so much charm on its own you don't need a lot of décor. Thank you so much for making our wedding perfect!
I cannot say enough great things about Sweet Briar Farm and the amazing owner, Toni Melton.
Her talent and ability to transform her venue into your dream wedding goes beyond words...
. She is professional, she is kind, and she does her job very, very well. She went beyond just renting a beautiful venue. She helped bring our vision of an elegant wedding alive. Toni is incredibly easy to work with, kept everything positive and joyful, and worked well with the other vendors.
With the help of Toni, my husband and I were able to enjoy the wedding planning process and our wedding day.
Sweet Briar Farm is tucked away, surrounded by the piney woods of East Texas. It’s easy for guests to find, right off of a county road near Hwy 59, but it’s secluded, which offers you exclusivity.
The venue itself is beautiful and hardly needs the help of any decorations. From the light fixtures, the outdoor patio and fireplace, to the huge sliding doors with floor to ceiling windows allowing a stunning view of the beautiful landscape surrounding the venue.
I would choose Sweet Briar Farm over and over again and would recommend this venue to anyone for their special event!
