But once we decided on the delicious lemon berry, it became one of the things we looked forward to the most on the day of. In preparation of the big day, Elaine was very flexible and worked well with our florist (our cake had beautiful flowers in each layer) and our event coordinator. Day of, the elegant cake was delivered on time by Elaine personally. We knew it was going to be beautiful so we had the cake placed behind the sweetheart table and was a focal point for the whole night. Not only was it stunning to look at, but it tasted so decadent. One of our friends loved the cake so much, he went and ate 4 more slices! Sweet Cheeks is the best baker to go with for any of your events! We highly highly recommend them.

She even drew me a picture of what my cake would look like and I was super excited to see the cake in real life! The whole team was very professional and super kind throughout the whole process! I ended up having faux cake for show which came out exactly the way I imagined and backup cakes to eat. The groom’s favorite was “Marbled with love” and mine was “the Sicilian.” We ordered extra big cakes so we could have two slices! I’m just sad I couldn’t eat 3 slices that night! And their cakes are the most delicious ever- it was so hard to choose between the different flavors. We had pistachio and Elvis- so so delicious! Everyone said they were the best cakes they had ever had. And they are incredibly professional, kind and fun to work with. We are long distance and they made the whole process so easy and fun. They also made delicious sugar cookies with the wedding logo on them for the welcome boxes, packaged with matching ribbons. So so yummy. Best bakery ever!

iewing the options I went with Sweet Cheeks as I liked the aesthetic of the cake designs I saw online. Even during a pandemic the service was fantastic. I did a pick up cake tasting and chose the marbled love flavor (highly recommend) and sent my preferred design which was covered in the package with the venue. My guests loved the cake and I will definitely use them again for special events!

We live in Orange County but our ceremony and reception was in La Jolla, so they were kind enough to send us home with lots of flavors of cakes and frosting to try at home after a busy day of vendor meetings. One of the hardest things I've ever had to do is decide which of their delicious flavors we would have for our cake... but in the end the marble with Oreo frosting was the winner. On the day of our wedding our cake turned out exactly as I had always imagined it, it was stunning!

to my very last, everyone I dealt with was so helpful, polite and accommodating. I had a very vague idea of what I wanted, but after speaking with Elaine and answering a few questions, she came up with a beautiful design which fit us perfectly. Her creativity and expertise showed in the simple but elegant design which matched elements of my dress. She is truly an artist. The cake was so delicious, moist, creamy and the tiramisu filling was incredible. Elaine and crew deserve a "10" in our book!

and very responsive to any questions we had throughout the process. It was so cool going into their bakery to have our design consultation and the take-home tasting was such fun! I sent them a simple drawing of an idea I had for a groom's cake to surprise my fiance with at our rehearsal dinner and they knocked it out of the park! It was so amazingly sculpted and my fiance was blown away by it! Our wedding cake was equally beautiful! We had so much fun going to the bakery to discuss the design and we got the take-home tasting kit which we thought was so nice! We got to openly discuss the flavors without feeling pressure to choose which was wonderful. We didn't want fondant on our wedding cake and they made a beautiful buttercream cake based on the design we worked out! And it was absolutely delicious!! Our coordinator packed us a to-go bag of some food and desserts and one of our favorite things was being able to eat our amazing cake the following morning while reminiscing. Everyone also loved the extra desserts we had from sweetcheeks. If we have any future cake needs, I will absolutely come back to Sweet Cheeks and I highly recommend them to anyone thinking about hiring them!

Elaine draw the initial picture of the cake was one of the most exciting moments of the wedding process. Seeing the cake on the day-of was also an incredible moment. The flavors were excellent, and the design was beautiful, just how we wanted it. We thought about saving the top layer, and we did freeze it, but after two months we didn’t want to wait anymore and took it out. We’ll just have to get a new one for the first anniversary!

I have been in this industry for 16+ years and manage 24 event properties, and I can say without a doubt that these are the best desserts...period. When it was time for me to get married, there was no other option...I needed the Cheeks to be there. Lauren and Elaine created a display that was literally magic!!! If you ever have a doubt about booking any and all desserts with these lovely ladies, take it from me...you CANNOT DO BETTER!!!

tom designed a wedding cake that was even better than I could have envisioned it. It was a triple threat combination of my fiance's Danish heritage, my Hawaiian home, and classic wedding elegance. Unbelievable! My guests are still talking about our stunning cake and how much it meant to not only us- but to every attending guest. Excellent customer service: Efficient. Professional. Patient. to have cake so I settled for a small cake and a dessert bar. The cake we ordered was delicious! I had ate three slices and I regret not eating more. It was the best cake I've ever had in my entire life. I actually was just talking to my husband and was wondering if Sweet Cheeks would ship a mini cake to us on our anniversary. It was just so good!!!! For the dessert bar I ordered mini cupcakes that were the same flavor as my cake (banana cake with passion fruit filling and Italian butter cream frosting), lemon meringue tarts, and cookies. My guests kept commenting about how delicious all the dessert items were. The next day I took a look at social media (instagram and snapchat) and .I think people posted more photos of the desserts than they did of themselves or me and my husband. So aside from the actual product being delicious, Sweet Cheeks is just so easy to work with. They made planning so easy. I worked with Kayla and Elaine and I was just so impressed with their customer service and communication style. You will not regret hiring them.

Lauren sketched a quick beautiful cake and was willing to add our florals which was a big plus for us since I was hoping to do the décor myself without hiring a florist. Fortunately, the samples were fantastic, and Lauren was great over email with recommendations for complimentary flavors to help us make final decisions. We ended up with tiramisu cake with the white chocolate mouse & chocolate whip and citrus cake with lemon buttercream & raspberry buttercream/crème. Our cake was so delicious that after the cake cutting and a bite each, we ended up standing by the cake table and devouring the entire piece. At our table, we later enjoyed both flavors and my mouth waters when I see the pictures. Thank you Sweet Cheeks and especially Lauren!

Everything was so delicious, it was almost impossible to narrow down what we wanted. Everything from the tasting, to the designing, to the execution was perfect. We did a take-home cake tasting while we were in town, which was awesome because we were able to customize our favorite cake and filling combinations. They also offer affordable rentals, so we were able to have our cake displayed on a gorgeous marble cake stand. Communication was never an issue, and emails were always promptly answered. When it came down to the day of, the cake was absolutely delicious, moist, and flavorful and beautifully constructed and decorated. We really couldn't have been happier!
