ng for half the cake, and a strawberry filling for the other half. It was the most delicious cake I ever taste, so moist. The frosting was light and airy and fantastic. My relatives told me it was the best cake they had ever tasted. Oh, and it was so beautiful too! We also selected the sugar flowers which looked real. I also was able to rent the cake stand which was a plus. So I highly recommend Sweet Confections Cakes.

The cake was so absolutely beautiful that it made it really hard to cut that first slice! Your team took my ideas from Pinterest and combined them , and the result was amazing. My only complaint is that the cake was a little dry and could have used a bit more raspberry flavoring. I’d love to post a photo, but I don’t see that option.

arrisburg and we knew we had to have them make our cake. The flavors are just stunning and so delicious compared to other bakeries. She was even able to make matching cupcakes for my guests who require gluten free or vegan due to allergies. If you want a wedding cake your guests actually want to eat you should book here. I had ordered extra due to COVID and our guest count constantly changing. Since I had extra a guest had four pieces he enjoyed it so much.

understanding when we had to postpone our wedding date. They were also very accommodating when we wanted to add a mountain texture to two of our cake layers. We were blown away by how well the cake design was executed. The cake was so delicious that all of our guests kept on raving about it throughout the night. We went with chocolate cake w/ cookies and cream buttercream and vanilla w/ strawberry champagne buttercream which were equally as delicious. From when the cake arrived to when it was served, it remained moist and soft. I definitely recommend Sweet Confections if you want a beautiful cake with a variety of flavor options!

ing ready all morning so it wasn't until later in the day that someone told me the cake had arrived late, which would explain why my florist didn't have time to add the live flowers. Unfortunately, someone at the wedding must have bumped the cake table because as soon as I walked into the reception I noticed that the top of the cake was tilting. Although this wasn't the bakery's fault, perhaps if the cake had arrived on time the photographer would have at least been able to take a photo before it was leaning, and my florist could have added the flowers before she left. Aside from that the cake looked good and tasted incredible!

again over email) our cake was very simple with live flowers cascading down the side. Sweet Confections does not arrange flowers on cakes - no problem. We coordinated with our florist who said he could arrange the flowers if the cake as long as the cake was delivered to the venue at 2:00 (ceremony started at 4:30). 2:00 comes around and no cake. I am getting my bridal hair and make up done, and needed to stop to call Sweet Confections. No answer. I called six times between 2:00 and 3:00 and left a voicemail. I didn't get a handful of "before ceremony" pictures done because I was dealing with trying to figure out the cake. My florist was amazing and ran out to buy us other cakes from the store to decorate so we have something. Finally, Sweet Confections drops off the cake after 3:30. I didn't speak with them, but my husband said they were unapologetic and said that we should have called them (even tho we tried six times). They were held up at a previous event which is out of their control, but they had all of my contact info. They could have called and said they were running late and we could have figured it out. But they just didn't even try. My florist was still there and was able to decorate the wedding cake delivered by Sweet Confections. The end product looked and tasted great, but that much added stress hours before the wedding and a $185 invoice from my florist for staying an extra hour and a half and to reimburse them for the back up cakes was so not worth it (happy to pay my florist for the time and the cake, but the issue could have been avoided with better communication from Sweet Confections). Sweet Confections never even reached out afterwards or responded to the voicemail I left basically in tears an hour and a half before my ceremony. If you are using live flowers on your cake or need it there more than an hour before the ceremony, look somewhere else.

The cake was both unique and delicious and all of our wedding guests were raving about it! She also either hand delivers it herself on the day of the wedding or has an immediate family member do it. This is a very personal touch, as we found out many places do not do this. Great local, family run business! We highly recommend and will order from here many times for future events!!

When our guests and photographer saw our cake for the first time, everyone just said it looked like a work of art. I still have friends and family telling me how delicious it was. My husband and I opted to just do a wedding cake and a few gluten free cupcakes in lieu of a dessert table. We found this to be affordable and the perfect solution for us. By having multiple types of cake, guests still felt like they had enough choice to fit their tastes! They were a dream to work with - and this is coming from a bride who’s wedding had scheduling issues a few months from our big day due to COVID and everything being rescheduled. They were always easy to contact, prompt setting up, and made this portion of the wedding so much easier. the day of our event I was surprised at how perfect our cake actually was! It looked 100% like I pictured it would. Darmayne easily saw my vision and did a fantastic job making it come to life. Our cake tasted amazing and I was so happy that she could also do a dozen gluten free cupcakes for a couple guests with allergies. We can't wait to use Sweet Confections again for other celebrations in the future!

perience was awful. DO NOT GO TO MAPLEWOOD BRIDAL IN NJ! However when I came to Sweet Confections I felt so welcomed. The owner took her time to listen to my suggestions about the cake design. First she asked me what I was looking for when I came in. I explained to her, but after looking at their beautiful displays I fell in love with another design. She had already drawn a design, but after discussing other options, she drew a final design that I loved even more. My vision was physically on paper. When I went to pick up the cake, after all the disappointments that I went through the day of my wedding, let me tell you it was the literal icing on the cake. I was extremely excited and I 1000000% recommend coming here. It was extremely welcoming. The price of the cake was extremely reasonable, and the work was honestly priceless. The cake was tasty!! I specifically loved the raspberry filling and the pink champagne cake. However I ended up choosing red velvet and chocolate cakes with cookies and cream + chocolate filling. Let me tell you my guests LOVED it!!! The red velvet was a favorite but I unfortunately chose that as my top layer. I needed more! I send much love to everyone on the team at Sweet Confections!!!!!!

was a different flavor cake and icing. Since we had fondant over the entire cake, we could have any flavor or color buttercream icing behind the fondant for each layer. The cake looked and tasted amazing. Even the fondant was delicious. Everyone at the party loved it. We also rented one of Sweet Confections' blinged out cake stands to display the cake. The cake and cake stand were worth every penny. I wish there was a way to upload a picture of the cake for you to view, it was gorgeous.
