Working with Nisha from Sweet Delights Cakery was such a wonderful experience! She was attentive and quick to answer any questions or concerns that I may have had, and not to mention my cake was STUNNING! I had a geode/agate themed wedding and she made my vision for my cake come to life and it was absolutely perfect! I got so many compliments on just the cake alone! Not only was the cake beautiful, it tasted amazing as well! She had so many delicious and original flavors to choose from, I had a hard time deciding! I would recommend Sweet Delights Cakery to anyone who is looking to work with someone who makes your wedding planning easier and really does an amazing job at making your wedding cake dreams come true. Nisha's cakery business is so top notch! She starts her consults with the in home tasting. We were able to try roughly 12 different flavors/combos and settled on three different versions. She offered both basic and premium flavors at the tasting, that ALL tasted wonderful - you can't go wrong with choosing a combination of flavors. She then sketches out your vision and helps you come up with ideas as she has a lot of materials and templates for you to choose from, and a really good eye for design and balancing multiple cake tiers with each other. Within a week or two, she had the sketch from the consult worked into her visual software tool and provided us three different versions of the cake. From here, we had to make some final decisions, and she was more than patent as we asked to change several things to the cake and was more than polite when working with our budget. We settled on a 5 tier cake, with one of those tiers being real, and the remainder kitchen cakes. On our wedding day, she delivered the cake and everything was ready to go for us, with no issues at all. She also provided instructions to the venue on how to cut the cake, etc. We also rented a cake base from Nisha, which helped complete our look and fit right into our wedding theme. Between Nisha's delightful cake flavors, design tools and natural artistry, patience and kindness, along with delivering the cake to our venue site, Nisha is hands down a MUST vendor for your wedding cake. She also provides invoices and receipts for all of the transactions, so it is easy to understand the cake cost breakout and balances due. Her consult was one of our favorite planning activities and she made it very personal and fun! We even had guests ask for a second piece of cake, to try the other flavors that we had purchased.

Nisha welcomed us into her home to taste her delicious cake flavors and we were thrilled throughout the entire process. Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious. She is creating an anniversary cake for us as well and we could not be more excited to have a slice of our wedding day again on our first anniversary!

We had an amazing experience with Nisha! She was so kind and sweet! Her cake was exactly what I expected and wanted! I wanted a VERY detailed accent piece that she made all by hand and it was exquisite! She is a true artist. She also made a sugar peony that looked real! We can actually preserve it and keep it as a keep sake!

First off, let me say that working with Nisha was a complete honor. I was a very laid back go-with-the-flow bride, who did not really give two hoots about her wedding. The only thing I knew what I semi wanted was what I wanted my cake to look like. I thought the picture I saw on Pinterest was the most beautiful cake I ever saw, but the cake from Sweet Delights Cakery made me cry the moment I first laid eyes on it. It was so elegant, so classy, and more that I could ever dream of. My mother was speechless. We stood in the ballroom in our robes just staring at it. After the ceremony, people were flocked to it, starring in awe. When it came time to cut the cake, I whispered to my husband that it was so beautiful that I could not cut into it. In all honesty, my two favorite pictures from my wedding are the professional picture of my cake, and my now step-son eating his slice face first. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars, I really do. She is the only person I would recommend and my family and I will be working with her again.

My fiance and I must have tried just about every wedding cake vendor in the Metro-Detroit area! Our vision for our wedding was sophisticated, elegant with a "royal" touch. When I found one of Nisha's cakes online, I knew by looking at it that we absolutely must try how they tasted! She did not disappoint and we were in awe of just how delicious even her simple vanilla and chocolate tasted, let alone the "fancier" flavors, which included passion fruit (MY FAVORITE!!). Her prices were competitive and sugar work far better than most! Our cake was the first vendor we booked! The day of the wedding, it was spectacular in the grande ballroom we had our reception in. People constantly told me how beautiful it was, with our custom monogram and even a miniature replica of our beloved goldendoodle peaking out at the bottom. My wedding planner said it was one of the best she had had as far as taste and EVERYONE loved the flavors and moist texture of the cake. I would highly recommend if you need someone for your special day!!!

Nisha from Sweet Delights Cakery was absolutely phenomenal to work with from start to finish. Myself, my fiance, and my family take our desserts VERY seriously, and her cakes do NOT disappoint!!! I am not exaggerating when I say that our wedding shower cake and our wedding cake were hands down the best cakes we have ever had in our lives! We had some shower cake left over that we froze, and we actually ate it by the handful out of the freezer in one week (no shame in our game)!!! That's just a testament to how delicious this cake is. We had a cake tasting with Nisha and her husband where we sampled 3 different types of cake...we could have chosen different combinations of cake, filling, and frosting...but we liked 2 of the 3 combinations so much, that we ended up going with those for our two flavors of wedding cake! Nisha is responsive, considerate, and not to mention, makes the most beautiful cakes I've ever seen. She made our "dream cake vision" come true and we couldn't be happier that we chose her to make our cake for our special day!!!

Nisha and her husband are truly amazing and sweet people. The entire process of working on the MASTERPIECE (you cannot call her creation any other way) was smooth and painless. Every person who participated in wedding planning knows how stressful it is. Nisha takes all your worries away. When you work with her you know you’ll receive not the cake but piece of art that will blow all your guests away. I received million compliments on the cake on my wedding day. Her prices are totally reasonable and the cake flavors are great (try chocolate cake and cream – tastes like heaven).

Nisha provided my wife and I with an absolutely stunning cake! The center piece, the colors, flavors, hand designs, all AMAZING!! We live in Las Vegas, so planning and designing the cake seemed like it would be difficult but Nisha made the entire process a breeze! She even provided a private tasting as well as several detailed consultations to make our wedding cake perfect!! She's absolutely GREAT!!! You won't be dissappointed!

Our experience with Nisha and Sweet Delights Cakery was great! We had our cake tasting and consultation three months before the wedding and it was so much fun. Nisha make this part of the wedding planning process so easy for us. Our wedding cake was not only beautiful, but totally delicious too. The cake that I had went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. Nisha is truly an artist with baked goods! She was able to create a cake that was not only beautiful, but tasted unlike any other cake I have ever had! Most vendors that I visited had pretty much the same style wedding cakes and not much of a variation. Sweet Delights Cakery literally takes the cake! Amazing! My husband and I tried several cake vendors and from the moment we arrived to our tasting we knew Sweet Delights Cakery was the one! Nisha was fantastic in our consultation and we had such a wonderful experience that went far beyond than any other tasting that we went to. I was extremely satisfied by the organization, professionalism, and I never once had to worry about the cake. Nisha was prompt in replying to emails, and after I sent her photos of cakes that I liked she came up with the most amazing digital sketches of our cake. I loved the cake so much that I didn't even want to cut it!!! On top of the gorgeous design, it tasted absolutely AMAZING!! Everyone kept commenting on how delicious it was! Just ordered my third cake from Nisha Fernando, it was perfect! I didn't think she could improve on the first two, but she proved me wrong. It was a seashore-themed cake for my nieces's wedding shower. and got rave reviews from everyone at the shower. It was definitely the centerpiece. It tasted as delicious as it looked. It ended up being even nicer than the wedding cake (which was ordered from another designer since the wedding was was out of sate). I will definitely order my next cake from Nisha!

Sweet Delights Cakery was awesome! We had a nice planning meeting with Nisha, who was incredibly helpful in drawing out digital sketches to help us envision what our cake would look like. SHE WAS AMAZING! I Not only was the cake delicious, but it was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen. It was actually way more beautiful than what I was expecting. I was planning the wedding from out of state, and so I sent her pictures of several different cakes via email. I was very descriptive in what I wanted, and she following it to the T. I received so many compliments on the taste of the cake and how beautiful it was. I highly recommend Sweet Delights Cakery for future brides and you will not be disappointed.

We were so happy we chose Nisha to make our Wedding Cake! She was absolutely lovely to work with and made the planning process easy and seamless. We brought pictures of ideas that we wanted for the design and she drew digital sketches for us to visualize and our cake was gorgeous! Not only was it gorgeous it also tasted delicious too and we receiving compliments from our guests the entire night. Compared to other local bakeries that we visited the price was very reasonable and I recommend Sweet Delights Cakery to anyone, and I can't wait to come up with another event to get our next cake made

Nisha was very easy to work with, and went above and beyond what we expected in preparing our wedding cake. We met once to discuss the overall theme of our wedding, and communicated largely by email or phone thereafter. Nisha began sending us potential designs shortly after our meeting, and we were floored by how well she had taken the potpourri of ideas we had given her, and merged them together into a single composition that not only contained all of the elements we had wanted, but also fit well with the overall theme of our wedding! We were extremely pleased with the final product, and have already begun recommending this vendor to our friends!

Nisha was an absolute pleasure to work with! She worked with us throughout every little detail and had an amazing attitude. Not only was she incredibly professional during our entire time working together she is incredibly talented too. Our cake was beautiful and it was the best tasting cake I've ever had. Sweet Delights Cakery is AMAZING!! From tasting to the final product at the wedding we were extremely pleased. Nisha is a design genius and our cakes turned out better than the sketches! The quality and taste of the cake is top notch. Our guests are still raving about our cake. I'm mad I didn't get more. Great customer service, prompt to respond to all of my crazy emails and question. I will definitely use Sweet Delights for all of our bakery needs in the future!

Nisha made our wedding cake for our fall rustic wedding. 5 Stars all around. I could not have asked for a more talented, patient, and dedicated vendor than Nisha at Sweet Delights Cakery. From the beginning, everything had a very personal touch. Our cake was not one found in a magazine or from a template, but was a masterpiece that was created just for us. It all started with choosing the flavors, from which there is a wide variety to choose. Just as I finished raving about how great the carrot cake was at our tasting, I was just as impressed with the cream cheese and vanilla bourbon icing we tasted. I had already visited one other vendor in Michigan, and this cake was much better, by far, and in the same price range. There was no question after our tasting that we would have our cake made by Nisha. But, it didn’t end there. Nisha worked with many designs I had sent her and compiled all of these into one beautiful dream cake. She was very patient if I would change my mind or want to see a different variation of her sketch. It was so much fun to see our visions come to life in her sketches. She coordinated the colors perfectly by having me send her swatches from flowers and decorations we would have at the wedding. She is so passionate about her work and is truly invested in giving you exactly what you want! We had so many compliments from our guests about how great the cake looked and tasted. I give her the highest recommendation for a wedding cake vendor, and for any special occasion in which you are aiming to impress. She uses many unique techniques that amount in an unforgettable piece of delicious art.
