ed them about doing a tasting at the beginning of December and they responded saying they’re booked until January, but were available for tastings from 12-5 on January 15th and 16th. I confirmed 12 on the 15th, and they responded “perfect, see you then!” On January 15th my fiancé and I showed up for our tasting and the girl at the counter said “oh, are you (insert name here)?” And we said no, and she started going through the list in the book for that day. We weren’t in there and she then told us “Well we never schedule tastings during the ice festival, we wouldn’t have scheduled today.” And I showed the email. She said we could reschedule. We decided not to reschedule because if you can’t get our tasting written down in your schedule, how do I know you’ll get our cake done for our wedding day? I also don’t appreciate that there were obviously other people on the schedule for the day and were then told that nobody gets scheduled that day. What a strange lie. There wasn’t even an apology, the girl at the counter didn’t seem to care about the mistake, but said she probably was the one who did it. I guess it’s good she didn’t blame someone else, but it didn’t help anything on our end.

your cupcake stands after the fact you don't have to return yourself (which was awesome for us as we were out of state). She was very pleasant to work with. The only downside is the coloring of cake we wanted more aqua than the blue we received but overall were pleased with the outcome.

ing we didn't anticipate was the extremely cold weather so the icing got pretty firm...but it was still delicious! People STILL ask me (over a year later) where I got the idea for those little cakes in mason jars and I credit Samantha and her team every time! Not only were the cakes delicious but Samantha went above and beyond to make them just how I wanted. My sister-in-law made adorable jar toppers to let guests know which flavor was inside with a coordinating decoration hanging from twine (to be tied around the jar lid) and Samantha was willing to add them all. They looked SO amazing!! We ended up paying for delivery since Havre de Grace was the complete opposite side of the state from where the wedding was held. I'm told by my coordinator that the delivery person was not very pleasant but aside from that, I've had nothing but pleasant interactions with Sweet Eats. I would definitely use them again for special occasions.

ed a goofy on the side of the cake and she said she would do it, but what we got was over above what we expected, it was amazing. We cannot wait to order our anniversary tier to indulge in the goodness of her cakes.

ng guests about them before the wedding! Her pricing was far below anyone else I spoke to as well. The cake was moist and had a wonderful consistency. Icing was fantastic and full bodied in flavor but not overly sweet. Just right! We froze the leftover cupcakes and are still enjoying them! Beautiful job all around! Highly HIGHLY recommend.
