Our experience with Sweet Greene was great! From the initial introduction with the tasting box, she started out strong. Our wedding desert table was a hit! There wasn’t a drop of anything left behind. Overall it was important for my husband and I to support black businesses with our union and we were glad we picked Sweet Greene Cupcakery!

Sweet Greene recreated the original wedding cake for my parents 50th anniversary and it was stunning! We had red velvet and cookies and cream was to die for. Love this black owned bakery so much!

I met with multiple vendors in the DMV area and Sweet Greene Cupcakery ended up being the best value AND the best tasting. I chose them because I really liked the options they presented, the price and the tasting boxes were so put together and yummy. My cake on the day of was the star of my wedding. So happy I went with them.

Ms Greene provided a dessert table and a mini cake for me and my husband at our wedding. The presentation was spectacular, her professionalism was refreshing and the desserts were absolutely delicious! The consultation leading up to the event was very simple which was very much appreciated since there was so much we had to figure out. At the reception, she came, set up and cleaned up at the end and she was like a cake ninja! Everything was done perfectly and we never even saw her! I am already planning to use her for another event that I have going on next year. I would highly recommend Sweet Greene Cupcakery for any event. You will definitely not be disappointed!

Cheryl was an amazing vendor to work with! She has great attention to detail and was able to bring our vision for our wedding cake to life with very minimal guidance from us. Everything was delicious and beautiful! We did the dessert bar and had a variety of tasty treats. They did a few custom desserts as well and those were perfect for the groom and I.

Great company to work with! Cheryl, the owner, is very responsive and helpful with suggestions. We did 3 wedding cake tastings and from different places, and this one stood out the most. They hand delivered the tastings and they were the cutest tastings we had seen (and delicious!). We ended up hiring Sweet Greene for our wedding cake and dessert bar. Cheryl worked with us to make sure it was perfect and then delivered the cake & dessert bar and set it up for us on our wedding day. We loved everything, including the pricing and the ease of it all.

Working with Cheryl for my wedding cake and dessert table was such an amazing experience. Although we went through the process during the pandemic, she still made it feel special and personal. I appreciated her punctuality, professionalism and creativity. I had a vision and she was able to execute even if it was something that she may not have offered prior to my event. I'm severely allergic to wheat and finding a safe vender for cakes was so difficult. What's more, I developed this allergy so I know how disappointing gluten free alternatives can be. Sweetgreen was so nice and understanding to work with. Made the entire cake process so simple and stress free. From the tasting box to wedding day delivery, everything was perfect!

Amazing! Simply a true professional. Cheryl exceeded our expectations. Was on time, courteous, friendly and made the perfect dessert bar and cake. I would highly encourage and recommend her. I normally don’t write reviews so for me to feel this compelled speaks volumes. You won’t be disappointed! We scheduled meetings while Cheryl took the time, was attentive and discussed everything. Her payment system was easy and her flavor choices were outstanding. The hardest part was choosing a flavor until we realize we could chose many! My wife absolutely loves her and we will use her again for birthday parties and other events. She has a customer for life with me! Again thank you Cheryl for an amazing dessert bar and cake. Our guest was wowed by the food and our dessert bar went fast. Also try the lemon field cake and red velvet. Moist and perfect amount of sweet!

Cheryl was incredibly hands on and supportive as a vendor. We approached her with a shaky vision of what we wanted and she helped us build a beautiful and delicious desert table using our wedding colors and seasonal elements. Friends and family were raving about how fresh and delicious tasting her cupcakes and tiered cake were. Her staff was prompt and efficient in helping set up. We would highly recommend working with her team!

What a phenomenal experience I had with Sweet Greene. Cheryl is obviously passionate about her work. From the very start, she drove about 45 minutes to deliver a tasting package which was beautifully assembled, not to mention delicious. My whole family was impressed. She then cheerfully stayed in contact with me throughout the planning process, providing suggestions and asking questions. The day-of product was stunning! I got a cake and three dozen cupcakes, as well as rented a cake stand. Her prices are amazing for the DC area, and more than worth it.

Both of our schedules were crazy busy but she made time on a Saturday between deliveries to make a house call just for me! The cake was AMAZING! I gained at least 6lbs because of how much cake I ate the day of and after! The price was reasonable I literally wasn’t stressed AT ALL. She had it all under control! The cake was so delish they are my new spot for all my deserts. You will not go wrong with Sweet Greene

We got an upside down 4 tier cake, personalized cookies and strawberry shooters for an amazing price. Cheryl was AMAZING she really understood our vision and brought it to life she is very professional. The cake and treats were delicious our guests we're raving about it days after. I don't think I'll be going anywhere else for my baking needs. She has a forever customer in us!

Ok, so I found Sweet Greene Cupcakery in 2018 when I was seeking specialty cupcakes for my son's birthday. They did an amazing job with my power ranger cupcakes. The detail was AMAZING. So when it was time for me coordinate my cousins wedding, I immediately called Sweet Greeene Cupcakery. I schedule the bride and groom for their tasting and they knew what I knew. They found their cake person. They selected the lemon with raspberry filling on one level, red velvet on the other. I even had to request a last minute addition to my order with a baby reveal cake. It was delivered to our reception location without me stressing. This company has been added to my go to list for all my event planning needs. Already talked about the baby shower for this summer.
