Sweet Harmony

nprepared. We hired a violin + piano duo and the violin only played on one of the three songs requested for our processional. The piano sounded like it was being played by someone performing their first ever recital, not a professional musician. Notes missed, wrong key, completely stopping while people were midway down the aisle, you name it. They also did not adhere to our requests, as I wanted to have a certain part of the song played when I walked down the aisle and instead they started the part before I was anywhere close to the aisle. This was the whole reason I wanted live musicians, so that I could control when a moment happened rather than timing it to track. I now realize track would have been better. When we told the company what happened, they refunded us $400 of the original $1325. They apologized, which is appreciated but will never give us our moment back. Personally, I don't think any amount of money could have repaired the damage done to our ceremony, but it definitely should have been more than 30% of the overall price. Seeing as there are amazing reviews here, I don't understand why our wedding was so carelessly managed. I hope that this does not happen to you as well. As nice as the management of Sweet Harmony is, I would not recommend them to someone who wants reassurance that they will not have issues like I did. If you are going to book with them, I would advise asking for proof of the musicians abilities before entrusting them with your wedding.
