Not only does their cake taste incredible (try the blood orange olive oil, you won't regret it!), the artistry that went into designing the sugar flower peonies to match my bouquet was stunning! When working with Sweet Heather Anne, you have the option to either keep the top tier of your cake, or she'll bake you a fresh one on your 1 year wedding anniversary. We opted for the latter and are already counting down the days until we can indulge again! lexible on when to meet. The tasting and design experience was so cute and it made us feel so special. This was the second cake tasting we had done but it was definitely the best. We got a small mini cake (like 2 inches in diameter I think) of 4 flavors (different cakes and filling). We tried each one, talked about what we liked in each flavor, and then got to see what their full list of flavors are. We then got to talk directly to their designer about what we wanted on our cake. We pulled up samples, explained what we liked and didn’t like, and was able to talk it out on serving sizes too. SHA was incredibly helpful for two very indecisive bride/groom! We hadn’t had our tasting yet for the wedding, and wanted to keep everything on hold until we did so that we could make a final decision after. And they were not pushy at all. They emailed us everything we needed to make an informed decision, and when it was time to proceed, they continued to be super professional and responsive. PS everyone raved about the cake and the dessert table! Would definitely recommend!

They were so impressed by the flavors and the overall beauty of the cake. The communication was also impressive from everyone that works for SHA. They are friendly and so easy to work with. They make it a fun and joyful process and I can't wait to work with them in the future for any and all occasions! It was one of our favorite planning memories! As a surprise to my husband, I worked behind the scenes with Heather to design a Sopranos themed grooms cake. It took so much artistic skill to pull it together and it truly was a work of art. Our actual wedding cake was also stunning, and involved our florist as well. Heather sketched this cake right in front of us at our first meeting, and it was incredible to see it come together! Most importantly - the cake tastes incredible. All of our guests LOVED it and we have already ordered more cake from Sweet Heather Anne for other events. I so hope that you get the seize their opportunity to work with this amazing team!

er cake to have a cake cutting at our actual wedding and that turned out wonderfully, but the wedding cake that Heather designed blew everyone away. We were so looking forward to seeing our design brought to life and the entire team at Sweet Heather Anne is so talented! We got so many compliments for the design, smell (it made the ballroom smell like a bakery!), and taste. We went with the blood orange almond and pumpkin maple flavors and loved both of them, but even more remarkably my husband who absolutely hates cake loves this cake. He did not stop raving about how good the frosting is when he normally makes faces at me for eating the "disgusting" frosting of other cakes. I am so glad my cousin went with Sweet Heather Anne and that we found a cake that we both love.

My husband and I literally counting down the days till our anniversary cake, just because it was so delicious. But, the best part was the design. I used my own watercolor paintings in my wedding decor, and Sweet Heather Anne took the painting and RECREATED it on my cake! It fit so perfectly with the day and was a beautiful centerpiece for our special day. I would recommend them to anyone.

llowing them on Instagram for years, just because they were a local bakery making beautiful cakes. It was super easy to set up our free tasting with four flavors online, and when we decided to add a fifth flavor at the last second, they easily set that up for us, for an additional $10. Our tasting/design appointment was hands down my favorite vendor meeting of all wedding planning. We got mini cakes of each of the flavors we chose in advance, with plenty leftover for us to take home and enjoy later. We easily decided on Raspberry Rose and Caramel Praline, which were unique and delicious. Then we got into the designing. I brought inspiration photos from cakes we both liked, and I explained to the designer Katie that I thought the embroidery on my dress might make a cool design. She got really excited and sketched out this unique cake based on my dress and accented with flowers from our bouquets/centerpieces, all while keeping the picture of the dress hidden from my fiancé who wanted my dress to be a surprise to him. It was such a fun, delicious, and customized vendor meeting- I left feeling giddy. After we left I had no further communication with Sweet Heather Anne because they took care of everything without needing any further direction or input from me, which is great when you're planning a wedding with a million things to keep track of. On our wedding day, they delivered the cake, set it up, and decorated it with flowers provided by our floral vendor. The only sad thing is I never saw them in person the day of the wedding to thank them for our beautiful cake! We will be back for our free mini cake on our one-year anniversary so we can re-live our Sweet Heather Anne deliciousness!

four cake flavors to try. We selected chocolate salted caramel, chocolate chocolate, lemon damson plum, and strawberry vanilla. On the day of our tasting, we met Heather, who was so professional and kind! She was ready for us with four mini cakes and place settings. She walked us through each cake flavor and served us tasting slices of each. The leftover pieces of the cake we didn’t finish we were allowed to bring them home to share with other friends or family members— which was nice! (We ended up having both our families try to get their input). During the tasting, Heather asked us who our vendors were, our colors, style of cake and how we wanted it to look, where our wedding was, how many guests we were planning to have.. and after jotting down her notes, she hand drew exactly the cake I envisioned in my mind! After putting the deposit down on our wedding cake, I emailed Joanna every now and then and she was so friendly and knowledgeable!! We ended up selecting the chocolate salted caramel and the lemon damson plum and both flavors were phenomenal! Sweet Heather Anne gives you the option of saving your top layer for your first anniversary or getting a fresh one made for you on your first anniversary— which is awesome! Brighid delivered our cake the day-of and also decorated our cake with the florals. She did a beautiful job. The cake tasted amazing as well!! We had some cake leftover from the wedding and our close friends and family asked if they could get some! (That’s how you know it’s a good cake). I would highly highly highly recommend Sweet Heather Anne if you want a vendor whose reliable, professional, delivers high quality (and tasty) product, and makes the cake planning process super easy!

On the day of our wedding, the cake looked absolutely beautiful, and we got so many compliments from our guests on the unique flavors (almond apricot and lemon damson plum); people enjoyed being able to choose from two flavors. The best part is that Sweet Heather Anne offers to either bake a bigger cake on the wedding day for you to freeze the top layer, or bakes exactly enough for the guests but then will bake a fresh 'top layer' for your 1-year anniversary -- we chose this option and can't wait to come back next year for it!

c duo was a treat from the start. We knew of their commitment to only seasonal, fresh, local and all quality ingredients going into the tasting, but we had no sense of their vast imagination. They swiftly concepted a design that reflected details from my dress and surprises for my groom, given that he of course would not be seeing my dress in advance. So, that was something amazing to anticipate, along with their tapping into the floral at Planterra Conservatory, our venue, and our palette. The cake literally delighted everyone in attendance. We incorporated two flavors, as well. Our cake was unforgettable inside and out. Still the subject of the post-wedding chatter (its quality, flavor and gorgeousness of simple mirroring detail). How often do hear this? I'd say nearly never.

Heather's attention to detail is second to none. She spent so much time meticulously arranging fresh flowers on our cake until it was perfect. What was even better than the actual design, was the cake itself. They have a great variety of flavors to chose from. I was also nervous about having a fondant cake as the ones I had tried previously did not taste great. Sweet Heather Anne puts a layer of buttercream between the cake and fondant, so you don't even notice that the fondant is there. We received so many compliments from our guests on the taste of the cake. We cannot wait to try our 1 year anniversary cake!!
