I had higher expectations for Sweet Illusion and was unfortunately disappointed with my experience. I arrived about 20 minutes early to my appointment and was met with a rude comme...
nt about being early, which immediately made me feel uncomfortable. There also wasn't enough seating for the guests I brought, and the overall space felt cold and cramped; more like a department store fitting room than a bridal boutique. The dress try-on areas are very close together, and at times I felt uncomfortably close to the bride next to me. The consultant provided little guidance while I was trying on dresses and seemed standoffish when I explained what I didn't like about certain gowns. Rather than feeling supported, the experience felt awkward, and it caused me to feel like a burden. My budget was not respected. I was encouraged to try on dresses that were more than $1,000 over my stated maximum. When I mentioned a dress I loved from another boutique, it felt like the focus shifted to making a sale instead of helping me find the right dress within my budget. The appointment only lasted about 30 minutes. After I tried on the dresses I selected the consultant said she would look for additional options but returned with none, stating that the style I like would be "way over my price range." We left shortly after. Overall, the experience felt rushed and sales-driven. Dress shopping should feel special and supportive, and unfortunately this salon did not provide that.

e that it’s about me and my day. I ended up going with a dress that she picked out from looking at the styles I liked. Turns out, I had already favorited it but I loved that she knew what I was looking for. The service was really great and I am so happy with my gown!
The only thing I would recommend is asking if there is a more private area. The section I was in, was super close to the other bride trying on gowns. I wish there would have been more space but the people next to us were SO kind so it wasn’t too bad.
All in all, I highly recommend going here! They have a ton of options and the service is great!

ht selections under budget and quickly found the perfect veil to match. They were so accommodating for alterations and did exactly what I was hoping for. We had a few not so great appointments prior (small selection, pushy consultants) so this was such a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend!
