Recently planned a bridal shower for my granddaughter. Sweet Kathy's came highly recommended from friends I am please to say everything was perfect! The variety we got to choose from was amazing! I can't thank Sweet Kathy's enough for making the shower a success. Looking forward to the wedding for more delicious treats!
Being mother of the bride can be stressful but Sweet Kathy and her team made our wedding dessert table the highlight of the reception! Her attention to detail coupled with the display of desserts was awesome! The taste of each item we personally choose was perfect.
I found out I had Celiac 4 months before the wedding and Sweet Kathy not only made the wedding cake gluten free, but she also made sure I had plenty of dessert options -- both that night and in a to-go box she made for the day after. She was so kind, and has such amazing customer service. Simply incredible! Thank you for making our day so perfect :)

All I can say is that Kathy is AMAZING! I told Kathy what my ideas were and what I wanted for the event, and her attention to detail is awesome! I was blown away when I saw the dessert table. Incredible Desserts from Sweet Kathy's!
Sweet Kathy’s truly made our wedding day even sweeter with her amazing selection of desserts! We had a variety of treats, including a red velvet wedding cake, key lime pie shooters, mini cupcakes, cosmic brownies, tiny pies, mini cheesecakes, and caramel and chocolate-covered pretzel sticks—and every single one was absolutely delicious.
We received so many compliments from our guests, with many saying it was the best selection of desserts they’d ever had at a wedding. The red velvet cake was a huge hit, and the key lime pie shooters were a refreshing and unique touch. Everything was perfectly made and beautifully presented, which made the dessert table one of the highlights of our reception.
Not only did Sweet Kathy’s desserts taste amazing, but they were also a true crowd-pleaser. The variety offered something for everyone, and the quality of each treat was top-notch. If you're looking for someone to create unforgettable desserts for your special day, Sweet Kathy’s is the way to go!
Kathy went above and beyond to not only provide the most delicious desserts for our wedding, but to also set up an absolutely gorgeous display! My guests are still raving about how wonderful the desserts were and how pretty the dessert table looked! I cannot recommend Kathy enough. She was wonderful to work with and is extremely talented at what she does! She even puts together a box of desserts for the bride and groom so they don't miss out on it. Kathy is AMAZING!!!!!! She was absolutely wonderful to work with and I am so happy I booked with her to make my desserts. My guests were RAVING about how great the desserts tasted and I definitely agree with them. I have never had better desserts than what she made. I ordered 5 dozen cupcakes from Sweet Kathy’s for my bridal shower this past weekend and had to give her an awesome review. I had a “citrus/she found her main squeeze” theme and Kathy nailed it with my cupcakes! They were absolutely beautiful and I received SO many compliments on how pretty they were and also how great they tasted! I went with a funfetti flavor and a cherry chip flavor, and both were great! Thank you Kathy for the yummy cupcakes and for helping bring my vision to life!
Kathy did our wedding this past fall, and all I can say is WOW! I can't begin to tell you how I am so glad I found her! Everything about her stands out above the rest. Its just not that her desserts are delicious, but she was wonderful to work with. Our dessert table was soooooo beautiful and yummy! It was an absolute pleasure working with Kathy from Sweet Kathy's. Her attention to detail and communication is impeccable, not to mention her desserts are amazing! From start to finish she was always there to answer any questions. When we saw the dessert table we were blown away at how gorgeous it was, and there was not a dessert left at the end of the night.
I booked Sweet Kathy's about 6 months out from my wedding after a family member who was supposed to do our desserts cancelled on us and WOW! I cannot believe how lucky I was to have found her! Not only is she wonderful to work with, but her desserts are seriously out of this world! She helped us completely customize a dessert table that had a little something for everyone! On the night of our wedding, I specifically remember glancing over and seeing a line of probably 30-40 people waiting to snag some of her delicious sweets! My husband and I unfortunately didn't get to try much because we kept getting caught up, but Kathy surprised us with a dessert box at the end of the night that had multiples of everything for us to try! I mean, seriously - such a sweet touch! I cannot say enough good things about Kathy (as you can probably tell, lol)! From what I've heard so far, and given the fact that there was not a single dessert left at the end of the night, I'd say everyone who attended our wedding would agree!
Kathy was such a pleasure to work with. I have nothing but positive things to say about her. Her communication was always timely, she answered any questions I had, and she is genuinely such a kind person. She even did our desserts for our wedding shower in addition to the actual wedding, that's how much we loved her!!! Her services are affordable, but still above and beyond any expectations. Our guests cleared out the dessert table in under an hour and by the time we walked over to get some of our own, there were maybe a handful of items left. One unique thing Kathy does, though, is giving the bride & groom a goodie box to take home - that way we were able to enjoy at least one of everything since we were busy for most of the night. Our guests praised how delicious and unique the desserts were!
Yummy deserts and a beautiful cake! We couldn’t ask for more from Kathy. She is so sweet and has great communication. I would recommended Kathy for any event that needs a little sugar.

I highly recommend Sweet Kathy's! We ordered several dozen mini cupcakes for our event. We were impressed with the amount of flavors available. The cupcakes were not only adorable, but they tasted divine!!! Kathy was quick to respond to my initial inquiry, was very helpful with suggestions for our event, and was great with all of her email communications with us. Do not hesitate! Book Sweet Kathy’s for your event right now! I feel very strongly that every wedding should have a dessert bar rather than one big wedding cake and Kathy truly made my dessert dreams come true. We were able to do such a large assortment that everyone from the die-hard chocolate lovers to the fruit-tart fans were happy! And we still had a one-tier cake for us to personalize and for our more traditional-dessert-loving guests to enjoy. Our guests devoured all the desserts so quickly! I’m really grateful Kathy was sweet enough to save a box of all the goodies for my husband and I to enjoy after the reception was over. Planning with Kathy via email was also so easy and she was always really quick to respond and answer any questions. We had Kathy make mini-cookies for our favors too and they were such a hit! I can't say enough about Sweet Kathy's! My youngest daughter was married this past July. Kathy is really the sweetest person! Kathy is so easy to work with, creative, and has great attention to detail. Not only are her desserts beautiful looking, but delicious!
Her dessert table was stunning! The wedding cake was the perfect size. After the cake cutting the venue accidentally dropped the cake and without hesitation she is going to remake them their wedding cake on their one year anniversary. Truly the sweetest person! We had Kathy do our dessert table and our cake for our wedding this past October and we were so happy with what she created for us and highly recommend her for your wedding or any other function you may have. She was very accommodating and guided us through the process and made it super easy for us and stress free. Everyone loved the desserts so much so that there was none left by the end of the night. My daughter recently got married this past October and we had Kathy create the dessert table and a cake for us and we couldn't have been happier! It was everything we wanted, and it looked fabulous! Right from the beginning it was such a positive, wonderful experience for us which made all the difference in the world. She was very accommodating and guided us through the process making great suggestions for us as we really weren't sure of what we wanted and wanted to ensure that we had a wide range of desserts. Everyone raved about how good everything was and by the end of the night there was nothing left. Fortunately, Kathy had put together a box full of desserts for my daughter and her husband with a really nice note inside and we were all grateful for the thoughtfulness. We knew we wanted something easy with variety for our wedding and are so glad we chose Kathy! She made the most incredible, delicious and festive dessert table for our wedding. She is very responsive in communication and really works to make sure you have your desserts the way you want for your wedding (down to the color sprinkles). My mom made our wedding cake and she even lent us a cake stand so we could have our moment to cut the cake. The best part of all, she made a separate take away box for my husband and I so we could enjoy the desserts after the wedding - neither of us had time to enjoy during the party so this was a really thoughtful touch :)

Oh how sweet she is! The name is not a misnomer - Kathy was sweetheart all the way through and her sweets were a hit! The planning process was a breeze with Kathy showcasing her wide array of skills with samples, pictures, and suggestions. We were able to plan out a menu that had our mouths watering for over a year! When we (like many others) were forced to postpone our wedding, Kathy was compassionate and understanding ensuring that she would have our treats ready on our new date. Fast forward to this year and things went off without a hitch. Her setup was beautiful and the treats were amazing. Kathy is the best. She’s so sweet just like her desserts. She made me cupcakes for my bridal shower which was a beach theme I provided a picture and she NAILED IT! Made seashells out of chocolate, with edible sand and the blue frosting looked perfect, and they were phenomenal. I was eating them for days after the shower. She also made our wedding cake for the cutting ceremony which was gorgeous. It was funfetti ( my absolute favorite) with the colors inside matching our wedding colors, which was such a cute personal touch. We also got the 3 inch personalized cookies ( again amazingly delicious) in our wedding colors and our initial on them. Everyone loved them! Wonderful service from beginning to end. I recommend Kathy to everyone. She is so reasonable too. The bakery prices can’t touch her prices. With so many things that went wrong on my wedding day I am so thankful for Kathy, everything went so smooth with the cake and etc. thank you so much for being amazing. ❤️

We had Sweet Kathy’s for our wedding a week ago, and everyone absolutely LOVED our desserts. The shooters were a huge hit! Kathy was amazing to work with. She came to our venue and set up our whole dessert display and also came back to take it all down. That was a huge help. Kathy also left us a box of our desserts to enjoy after the wedding. I was SO happy about this because by the time my husband and I got around to our desserts, almost everything was gone. Kathy was so great to work with. I always wanted a dessert table for my wedding, specifically had my heart set on dessert shooters and Kathy far exceeded my expectations. The hardest decision to make was narrowing down the flavors for our desserts because everything was so great! Our guests were blown away by the desserts and were talking about them all night! Kathy was so wonderful to work with for our wedding this year. I found her at a Bridal Show in Novi and I was hooked! Her cupcakes are so pretty and delicious. We went with the mini cupcakes for our wedding and they were all so good! I highly recommend all her desserts. They were all fantastic.
She was also a great vendor to have during COVID. We were initially supposed to be married in May and had to postpone to August due to event restrictions. She worked with us and took away any worries that we had about having to move the date last minute. She continued to be amazing when our venue said that we could not have a cupcake display. She ordered little bags and put two flavors in each to meet the venue’s requirements. They turned out wonderful and our guests loved them. Thank you Kathy!

My daughter’s wedding plans changed due to Covid, she opted to keep the original date but change the venue and invitee size. I didn’t realize she forgot a cake to cut for photos, in comes Kathy to the rescue, on short notice she created a beautiful cake to cut and wonderful desserts for the table. She’s professional and keeps in contact making sure you get what you want. Her delivery was prompt as promised. I can’t thank her enough for the great service and delicious desserts.

Sweet Kathy's has put together the treat tables for all three of my son's birthday parties (1, 2, and 3). I don't have a creative bone in my body, so it's nice that I'm able to just tell them the theme and they run with it. Not only is the setup always beautiful, but the treats are extremely tasty. We've had cookies, cake, cupcakes, pretzels, donuts, cake balls, and more. Every variety has been fresh, delicious, and a focal point of our party decorations.

I found Sweet Kathy's after calling several bakeries in my area looking for a 50th wedding anniversary cake for my parents. My mother has celiac disease, so the cake needed to be gluten free. I was thrilled to learn Kathy makes gluten free desserts. She also really helped me figure out what flavor to get, as well as colors/ decorations. I went with her chocolate salted caramel cake and it was a big hit! We all enjoyed the beautiful cake, and no one knew it was gluten free until I mentioned it. My mother loved it so much, we ordered another gluten free chocolate salted caramel cake for her friends birthday. Kathy is very professional, she communicates well, and her cake is incredible. I'm so glad I found her, and I will continue to give her all of my dessert business. I highly recommend Sweet Kathy's for any occasion- you won't be disappointed!

From the beginning Kathy was very professional and she is such a sweetheart! She pays close attention to detail! She took my vision and gave me such a beautiful dessert table for my wedding. Delicious mini cupcakes, including the gluten free ones, we received many compliments on the cupcakes! The cake for cutting and cupcake display was beautiful! The only criticism I have is to send out a reminder email or text with the amount due and where to send payment, busy brides appreciate vendor reminders. Kathy is the only choice if you want amazing desserts. She is incredibly sweet, easy to work with, professional, and a bonus when the price is right! She offers a huge variety of desserts and flavors, all of which are so good it makes the decision process almost impossible. All of our guests raved about the presentation and how yummy everything was. She has a variety of props and decor to match exactly what you’re looking for. We of course wanted our dogs included so it was actually Kathys idea to have bagged up puppy chow, it was the cutest! Guests wanted more of the cannolis and cheesecake shooters, above all else everything was wonderful and we’ll be going through Kathy for all future events.

She makes the best desserts! Such a nice display for our dessert table. Kathy was great all the way through the entire process and made it easy for us to decide what we wanted. Her desserts were OUT OF THIS WORLD! Or so everyone told me. I didn't get to try everything because it was gone so fast. I would Highly recommend her for you wedding or any other special event you may have. I know I will be using her services again. Kathy’s Sweets was the best desserts and cakes I’ve ever had at a wedding. I first tasted them at a friends wedding and fell in love! Everything was so delicious! So, when my son announced his engaged, I knew we were going to hire her bakery for our venue! I had so many guest compliment the dessert table. My guests wanted to know who the bakery was. I’m pretty sure she’ll be getting business from some of our guest in the near future. I highly recommend Kathy’s Sweets to every new couple and for baby showers and birthdays too! Or just any occasion you need to have a dessert bar!

Kathy was one of the easiest people to work with! We met with her around 6 months before our wedding, discussed our likes and she created the perfect dessert table for us. She even gave us several different things to try before hand. Kathy was always there to answer my questions and schedule changes! Everything looked like perfection and tasted even better!! Sweet Kathy's provided our wedding with cupcakes and we could not have made a better choice. Kathy was very accommodating for all of our needs, starting with free samples when we were still shopping around to updating our dessert choices (gluten free options) a few weeks before the wedding. I have never been to a wedding where the dessert table was empty at the end of the night but that was the case with our wedding. The cupcakes were the perfect size and the frosting was not overbearing. We had several dessert packages quoted and Kathy provided us with an affordable quote. Finally, Kathy provided my husband and I with an additional dozen cupcakes for us to take home as she knew we would be too busy to eat the delicious desserts during the wedding. This thoughtful touch along with the fantastic cupcakes make Sweet Kathy's a no brainer for any event you are planning.

Kathy was the best vendor that we booked for our wedding! Her desserts are absolutely amazing, our guests are still raving about them a month later! She has such a variety of different things and made us a cake to cut. She even made us a box of treats since she knew we probably wouldn't make it to the dessert table ourselves! She came in and set everything up, was super flexible and then came back at the end of the night and took everything down. She was so amazing! Would recommend her to anyone! 10/10! Sweet Kathy’s desserts were one of the best things about our August wedding. They were an absolute hit with our guests, and they all disappeared within an hour of her setting them up! Kathy herself was amazing to work with, she is sweet and professional, her prices are extremely reasonable, and she was kind enough to invite us to a free tasting session during a bridal show in Grosse Pointe. We tried her shooters and cupcakes, and they were delicious. Her table display for the wedding was very cute too; we had 4 different flavors of shooters, chocolate chip + snickerdoodle cookies, as well as brownies. They were all gone before we (the bride and groom) even got a chance to have some! I completely recommend Sweet Kathy’s for any event/wedding, your guests will be raving about how good her desserts are!! Thank you Kathy!

Of all the vendors my daughter worked with, we absolutely loved working with Kathy. She was always prompt responding to us, answered all of our questions, and was so easy to work with. She is the sweetest and actually took the time to get to know them! The dessert table blew us away as well as our guests. They loved everything on the dessert table. Our dessert table was such a hit at the wedding! People are still telling us how amazing everything tasted. Kathy was prompt with responses and created a beautiful rustic dessert table for us complete with cookies, pudding shooters, chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate covered strawberries, donuts, and more. She provided all the supplies to decorate the table and made it even more beautiful than I could've imagined. She did set up and take down the day of the wedding so swiftly I didn't have to worry about a thing. Perhaps my favorite thing is that she gave us a goodie bag to take home with desserts for us to enjoy once all the chaos calmed down! She was super friendly and accommodating and made our dessert dreams come true :). So grateful for Kathy and her delicious desserts!

Where do i start.... Kathy did a dessert table for my wedding her cupcakes and shooters are so delicious all my guest loved them and they were so delicious. My only suggestion is you cant go wrong with any of the flavors is because they all are good. Definitely a bonus when she packs you some to go where your guest cant get to them. was a nice treat for the day after the wedding!!!

We found out about Sweet Kathy's at a bridal show. She was great to work with, was super friendly, made delicious cupcakes, and set up a great display. The mini cupcakes were such a hit, we could have bought a few dozen more and still had all of them eaten. It was great that Kathy set aside a few of each flavor for us to take home with us, otherwise we wouldn't have had a chance to try them ourselves. Did I mention the cupcakes were super tasty, and our guests devoured everything on display?!

Absolutely amazing! Kathy was a pleasure to work with through the whole process. The desserts were delicious! When all the guests at my wedding saw the dessert table being set up, they couldn’t wait to get over to it. By the time my husband and I got over to the dessert table, everything was basically gone! All the guests loved the variety and said how delicious everything was! So glad Kathy boxed us up a variety of desserts to have for later! Everything was amazing, including the small cake we cut into. Kathy was awesome and so nice to work with! Kathy was so easy to work with and went over and beyond expectations for our wedding day. We had tons of compliments about how unique and delicious the shooters and cupcakes were. Sweet Kathy’s provided a beautiful display of desserts for my daughter’s wedding and bridal shower April 8th 2017. The absolute best! Every person at our wedding raved about Kathy’s desserts! We almost didn’t get any ourselves because they were so good are guests almost ate them all before we could get to them! What makes everything better is that the prices are very reasonable. She is extremely easy to communicate with and assured us everything would come out great and of course it did!
Besides cake, it’s nice to have other options for dessert since not everyone likes cake and it’s good to have a variety. Sweet Kathy’s is the perfect choice! You will not be disappointed!

I can honestly say Kathy was the best vendor I worked with for my wedding last weekend. She was just the kindest and most put together vendor. All of my guests have been raving about my dessert table and almost nothing was left! She was accomodating and caring and thoughtful throughout the planning and even connected me to the woman who made all my signs, which were another huge hit at my wedding! Sweet Kathy's is absolutely the best!!! I used her for my wedding this year and my guests were RAVING about how amazing the cupcakes tasted. We had 5-6 flavors and all were scrumptious. We found her at our very first bridal show, and at first taste we were sold! We actually stalked her facebook page to see what other show's she would be at and would go there just to eat more desserts! She offers a huge variety of desserts and flavors, all of which are so good it is actually hard to choose. All of our guests raved about the presentation and how yummy everything was. I even requested a cookie not on her list of choices and she whipped it up, no questions asked, and it was by far the best red velvet cookie I have ever tasted in my entire life… and I eat a lot of red velvet cookies!!!
I will never go anywhere else for any of my dessert needs in the future, and we are already thinking of excuses to order from her again! Customer for life!

red velvet cookies. I think the "his and her" cookies are one of my favorite part of the dessert table. Congratulations!!
First of all, Kathy was one of the sweetest vendors I worked with during my wedding! She was so kind and easy to talk to, I never felt pressured or rushed or pushed into doing something I wasn't comfortable with! Second of all HER DESSERTS ARE AMAZING! We went with her mini-cupcakes and mousse shooters alongside a topper cake and my guests are still talking about them! Absolutely delicious AND cute as a button. Kathy set up the entire table and provided all of the trays and made everything look PERFECT! Dessert was so important to me, and Kathy went above and beyond. She also provided me with TONS of flavor samples beforehand and made herself available to try any others or create our own flavors! Well-worth the value, great communication, and awesome product :)

The BEST dessert table EVER! I was blown away at my wedding, and so were all of my guests! Everything was so perfect. They are the best in town. They featured a personalized Anchor themed picture frame, they provided a huge jack Daniels whisky barrel to hold my personal cake on. They had my favorite desserts, my husbands favorite desserts and even puppy chow for our dog, who is our child.
The amount of detail and craftsmanship that is put into their desserts is just impeccable. It is what everyone remembers most about my wedding. I am so happy I went with Sweet Kathys. AMAZING.
I will use them for every event I have for the rest of my life. It was the biggest hit at my wedding. I wish this review allowed me to add photos, because the photos speak volumes.

Ever since I was a little girl, baking has been a passion of mine! My love for baking started at the the age of five years old, when I got my first baking essentials. From that point on, I tried to get in the kitchen whenever I could. I started baking for my friends and family and they couldn't get enough of it! With all of the overwhelming support, I decided to start my own business, Sweet Kathys, in 2010. Over the past 10 years, my business has grown tremendously and my passion has led me to creating beautiful dessert tables for weddings.
