tty well, we experienced some issues that really left us with a less than satisfied feel overall. In our original quote and invoices as we paid through the year, it was never communicated or made apparent that our linen costs could change (no listing of "estimate" or "price could change closer to wedding date"). 3 weeks before the wedding our linen total went up by $200, and when we contested that the invoices said otherwise, it became a pretty stressful argument that greatly frustrated us. Overall they honored their original pricing and apologized, but it took a lot of me standing my ground to make that happen. The food and drink service on the day of was great, and while the rice was different than what we ordered it still was loved by us and all our guests (we did a taco bar). Service members were helpful and accommodating, and Beth was very helpful with whatever we needed. Overall I would still recommend Sweet Lilu's for a caterer, but would advise to proceed with some caution and to make sure that you clarify even smaller details.

really accommodating and easy to work with regarding the somewhat late booking. I live in Virginia while my husband lives in Kentucky, and she even sent him with a sampling of cake for me to taste on one of his trips here! The cake tasted and looked amazing. Highly recommend!

delicious! The wedding cake was not what we asked for and did not taste the same as it did on the day we did the initial tasting. Overall a great experience with the food, but would be cautious when ordering cakes!

everything ran smoothly and Beth made sure my husband and I ate. Beth did our cupcakes but my mother made our individual wedding cake and Beth worked with her to make sure the cake was delivered with the cupcakes and on a matching stand. So incredibly thankful we chose Sweet Lilu's for our wedding, they helped make it absolutely perfect.

At the wedding, we were wondering why guests weren't on the dance floor, and it's because everyone was eating the cake! pcakes. The cake tasted amazing and we knew in that moment that we wanted to book her. Fast forward a couple months and things with our caterer didn't work out. Beth was amazing at working with me to add catering to our day too. She took my idea of a pasta bar and went above and beyond with it. She was also very accommodating with us when asking to make a few things vegan for some of our customers. Our guests raved for days afterward about the cake and food, they were really impressed and loved everything served at the wedding. I could not have imagined our day without Sweet LiLu's and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a baker or caterer for their upcoming wedding!

t Lilu's catering through my best friends wedding and my very own. Beth is passionate about food, you can tell by her creativity and eagerness to put a delicious twist on traditional favorites. Her taco bar with cilantro lime chicken and chimichurri sauce was fresh and gave everyone an option for dinner. Her bbq bar she made with tempeh for our vegan guests was a hit and her vegetables are to die for! She left us all with happy belly's and full hearts!

gave it to us! Her BBQ and brisket were out of this world. The mashed potatoes, green beans, baked apples, and cornbread OH MY GOODNESS. Seriously never tasted such good food before in my life. She made bourbon balls and put them in cute little boxes with ribbon for the wedding favors and even had a sticker that said "Bourbon Balls from the Bennetts" and they were an instant hit with the wedding guests. My dad even said they were the best bourbon balls he has ever tasted and that means a lot coming from a bourbon ball connoisseur like himself. We also had various appetizers during cocktail hour that she provided and the guests were raving about how great they all were. Second of all- not only is Beth an amazing cook and baker, she is also an amazing person. Every time I met with Beth I left the meeting in such a great mood because she is that just that type of person. Full of positive energy and so down to earth and easy to talk to. She has an amazing personality. And she's got your back. When my mean husband of mine smashed cake on my face she was right there to wipe it off for me hahaha. Third of all - she is super affordable. I was shocked with the quality and taste of her food compared to how little she costs. Extremely reasonable and wayyyy tastier than a lot of overrated Lexington caterers. We did not order our cake from Beth because we had already placed a cake order with another vendor before I knew of Beth, but if we had known of her before placing the cake order I definitely would have used Beth for the cake as well! Everything she makes is absolutely delicious! You cannot go wrong with Sweet Lilu's!

the caterer was. Many of them said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. I would have to most definitely agree with that statement. The other great thing about Sweet Lilu's is that she is open to any kind of menu you might have in mind. I much preferred that to the caterers with a "Pick one from this column and 2 from that column" kind of menu. This makes it very easy to make the menu your own. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Caterer!!

food and our cake was!! Our wedding buffet was exactly what we wanted and the quality of the food was excellent!! I couldn't believe how yummy it all was!! Our guests couldn't get enough!! And the cake....so tasty!! it was decorated beautifully! and she perfectly added personal touches to make it ours!! Beth is amazing with work with and is such a sweet person!! I want to have another large party just to work with her again!! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
