Annabel was amazing throughout the process! She spent time really addressing all my questions in my first call with her and sent a follow-up message that recapped our conversation....
I knew I wanted a buttercream cake instead of fondant, but I did understand that the gradient design I was looking for could be challenging. Annabel showed me a photo of a cake she had made in that style and it was perfect! She did say it would not be smooth, but I thought the texture was beautiful!
We met with her for a cake tasting and OMG! The flavors are so unique and pair so well with each other.
We selected the blueberry rosemary cake with lemon buttercream filling. It was a 3-tiered cake with grey and rose gold gradient designs.
When I saw the cake on my wedding day I was thrilled! It was perfect in every way and she even managed to add my geode cake toppers on it! The first bite of the cake was phenomenal too! It tasted even more amazing with the way she customized the flavors based on notes from the tasting and layered as the final cake slice is just hard to describe how amazing it is!
My sister and I have been chatting about finding more events that we'll need to order cakes for! I will certainly be ordering one for our wedding anniversary!
