Beyond pleased with Sweet P's BBQ! Chris was so easy to work with, and they really helped make our wedding day perfect! For a wedding of 135 people with barbecue it was also super ...
affordable. They even delivered the food to the church building! The food was AMAZING. (Living in Knoxville, Sweet P's was already one of my favorite restaurants, so I knew it would be great!) If you're looking for easy-to-work-with, yummy, and affordable bbq for your wedding this is the right place!!!
For a wedding of 100 people, we were amazed that the quality carried over from a single serving in their brick-and-mortar store. They were very helpful with setting up and the serv...
ers were incredible to work with on the day of the event. The servers made sure people with dietary restrictions got special portions of food and they were always interacting with the guests. They helped to bus the tables when people were done eating and made sure no one left hungry.
Food was amazing as it always in from Sweet P's and the servers did a great job clearing the plates. The only issue we had was we paid for 4 additional servers in order to have a s...
erved buffet, but we don't think this was relayed to the servers as they didn't serve the food. We didn't know this until after the wedding. The only reason why I am mentioning this is we could have saved some money and only hired two servers for clearing instead of 4 if we knew they weren't going to serve the food to our guests in the buffet line. Just a miscommunication.
The food was amazing, and the service was easy. So many guests said that this was the best wedding food that they have ever had!

g set up in a manner of minutes, ready to go. None of us could believe how good the mac and cheese was, and while there wasn’t a lot left over of any of the dishes, that pan in particular was scraped CLEAN. BBQ can be divisive, especially because we had folks from North Carolina and Texas in as well, but I saw all of them getting seconds, and even some folks who don’t normally like spicy foods were suffering through the spicy sauce because they liked the flavor so much. We were stuffed, and we happily took the leftovers and enjoyed them as dinner for the next night too. Love Sweet P’s!
We would highly recommend Sweet P's. Kira, the catering manager, was great to work with and communicate with and got me the best price for my needs. The staff who worked our even...
