Sweet Rhi created the most beautiful and delicious cakes for our rehearsal dinner and wedding. From our initial tasting, she made sure the details reflected our personalities, and even let us include our family in our tasting to help us decide. The groom’s cake at our rehearsal dinner was so much fun! She elegantly incorporated our love for billiards and travel and my husband's love of Pokemon into a cool billiards table design. And our fresh strawberry wedding cake was incredible — light, fresh, and genuinely one of the best cakes we have ever had. Perfect for our spring wedding day! We can't wait to eat it again on our anniversary next year!

The tasting experience was fabulous, as we got to try so many different fun flavors - it made it almost impossible to choose. We ended up going with an Oreo wedding cake with a traditional vanilla buttercream, I have truly never gotten so many compliments on something! It was unbelievable, and truly so beautiful. Working with Rhiannon was such a breeze as she is truly such an expert at what she does, she made the entire process stress-free. I recommend Sweet Rhi to any CHS based bride looking for an elevated wedding dessert!

After studying culinary arts at AB Tech in Asheville, NC, she headed West & began an extremely successful career as a Pastry Chef while nurturing her deep passion for food. She developed her talents with stints at several restaurants around the US, where she had the opportunity to work under world-renowned Chefs. It wasn't soon after Sweet Rhi was born in 2011. Rhi is thrilled to bring her business & passion to Charleston, SC, where she can be back to her Southern roots!

d. I'm not usually a cake person, so we tasted around, and hers blew me away. I love the texture of her frosting and the cake is perfection. We gave her creative control with the flavor, and she certainly did not disappoint. Rhi has so many specialty flavors and is willing to accommodate to any of your needs. She made our main wedding cake, and I also requested a smaller gluten free cake for guests, and it looked identical to the main cake. Our main cake was 1/2 carrot cake and 1/2 cannoli. The gluten free cake was vanilla with espresso buttercream. All 3 flavors were so good. She delivered everything on the day of, and it was a seamless process.
