Based in Hammond, IN, Sweet Salsa Catering and Events serves weddings and other special occasions throughout the Chicago area and Northwest Indiana. This catering company began more than 10 years ago, when owner and chef Juanita Lopez started her business in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The eatery offers a variety of wedding and event planning options as well as delicious gourmet dishes that can be customized to your tastes and preferences.
Juanita is a Chicago native who fell in love with Texas after she moved there with her family when her kids were preteens. Her love of cooking began when she was creating versatile menus while teaching preschool children. Her passion eventually expanded to include weddings. She loves the challenges that her clients give her to create bespoke and mouth-watering meals for their romantic occasions.
Sweet Salsa Catering and Events provides innovative and creative culinary options. Delivering a "wow" factor in food selection, taste, and preparation is very important to them. Along with weddings, they also cater quinceaneras, corporate functions, birthday, conferences, and more.
