About this vendor
Nestled in the heart of Fairfax, MN, Sweet Spot Bake Shop is a locally owned wedding bakery. Along with the wedding cake, the bakers produce other sugary goodness like donuts, cupcakes, cookies, and cut-out sugar biscuits. Once you advise on your preferred flavors, this team gets to work to rustle up the wedding dessert of your dreams.
Owner Tina Castillo looks after the baking and decorating at Sweet Spot Bake Shop. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, Tina has years of experience working with icing delights in the city. The seasoned baker has learned the ins and outs of all buttercream and fondant techniques, creating designs that look and taste delicious.
Sweet Spot Bake Shop arranges consultations and tastings with couples to create the perfect cake. The baker always uses the freshest ingredients available and can accommodate nut allergies in her creations. In addition to the all-important cake, Tina can provide other delectable desserts and cupcakes to enhance the dessert display and wow guests.

kind and was willing to go out of her way for our special day. The cake was so moist and fresh, the filling in the middle and the frosting was to die for. Look no further, book Tina!
Tina was SO wonderful to work with and I am so happy I hired her to bake our wedding cake! I gave her a photo of my vision for the cake and she was able to modify it for our needs....
She made it look even better than my inspiration photo! She was super flexible when setting up a time for my husband and I to taste test. She was also very good at communicating when the cake should be picked up and how to safely transport it to our venue (that was 2.5+ hours away!) Not to mention, the cake was DELICIOUS! I would highly recommend Sweet Spot Bake Shop to anyone!
