Sweet Tea Acoustic Duo

Sweet Tea Duo was incredible. They played at my daughter’s bridal shower and were amazing. The music was just the right tempo and they are extremely talented. I highly recommend anyone to use them for their event. Many of my friends and family at my event could not stop raving about them!

Lori was absolutely incredible to work with!! She helped us choose songs that would fit our style, helped us plan how our ceremony would go (we did a very non-traditional ceremony that we M-C'd ourselves), was super responsive over the phone and great to talk to! Lori and Scott also helped us plan out our program, including making suggestions about timing of different components. It was incredibly helpful and really made our wedding run smoothly!! On top of all this, Lori, Scott, and her band learned several songs for our wedding that really made our evening spectacular - including getting creative with a jazz number we requested for our first dance! At one point we mentioned my mom's favorite song -- and the band learned it so that my mom could have a wonderful surprise dance fest! It was incredible, and my mom was thrilled. The music was fantastic!! I highly recommend Sweet Tea!

I was so fortunate to stumble upon Lori's page on Instagram and just knew she was the perfect choice for our celebration from moment I heard her beautiful voice. She was incredibly professional and a pleasure to communicate with. I’m so grateful that she accommodated my husband and I even with last-minute requests. The sweet tea duo performed an impressive variety of music that pleased all of our guests. I had many compliments about her voice from my family and friends! Do yourself a favor and book her for your wedding, I cannot recommend her enough!!! :)))

The best ever decision we made during our wedding rehearsal dinner was to hire the Sweet Tea Acoustic Duo. I saw them performed in one of the wedding showcases in Long Island over 2 years ago. The moment I heard them sang my fav song Shallow, I knew right away that I want them to be in our Big Day. The booking was so easy and they responded to you right away whatever your concerns are. Very easy going and very approachable. We had them last Saturday 9/3/2022. They made our event cozy due to their amazing voice and classy looks. If you are seriously looking for a duo who can make your event spectacular and Zero headache, but BUDGET friendly. Please don’t go any further, book them right away if they are available on your special event. Love them to death and now we are just like family!

Sweet Tea Acoustic Duo was FABULOUS for our small vineyard ceremony/cocktail hour. Lori and Scott were incredibly easy to work with and they came with an extensive list of great songs they could play. They also learned an additional song for us (Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac) and we so appreciated them on our wedding day!

A friend referred me to Lori & Scott as she had a great experience with them. From my first contact through the wedding day and beyond they were great to work with. I honestly had no idea where to start when it came to choosing music from walking down the aisle to the reception. Lori had great suggestions and guided me through the whole process. Working with the duo was probably the least stressful part of the wedding planning. When talking to Lori and Scott, it honestly felt like you were talking to a life long friend - they truly make you feel so comfortable. Having a live, acoustic band at the wedding was huge! They pumped up the crowd and got our guests on the dance floor - everyone had so much fun. They kept the party going and even dimmed the lights on the floor for us as they noticed the venue did not. I couldn’t tell you how many people complimented us on having a them at our wedding. Our guests told us they had great interactions with Scott & Lori too. We talked about what my fiancé and I wanted the feel of the wedding to be and Lori mentioned a ‘first look’ idea. I honestly never considered this but after talking to her we decided to go this route with our photographer. I’m so happy she gave me the suggestion because we loved doing this. I would hire Sweet Tea Acoustic Duo again in a heartbeat and I would hands down recommend them. They really made our wedding a little extra special.

Yasss Sweet Tea!! I got married in Lake George earlier this month and had the pleasure of being serenaded by Lori and Scott of Sweet Tea for two days! Not only did they make our laid back/campy chill rehearsal BBQ amazing but they transformed themselves into this elegant wedding duo the next day at our wedding . They totally fit the vibe for both the rehearsal BBQ and the wedding! They can sing anything and I mean anything! From huge power ballads, fun dance songs to chill feel good tunes. I am so happy to write this review because the world must know about them!! Aside from their talent, they are just fun humans! If you’re looking for professional talent, fun and laid back people who are soooo easy to work with (and believe me this is a giant BONUS)- hire these two! Thank you Lori and Scott , we had the best time 💛

The Sweet Tea Duo was the absolute perfect addition to our wedding. I first saw them perform at a restaurant over a year before our wedding and I just KNEW I had to have them there. They knew exactly what kind of music to play, and even more importantly how to work their volume correctly for our space. They are such talented and kind hearted people, they make any event incredible. Highly recommend!!!

Sweet Tea performed at our wedding in December. They were FANTASTIC! They sang every song requested beautifully and even performed a new song that was not on their setlist , which they learned especially for our big day! We couldn’t have been more happy with Sweet Tea and several guests commented on how amazing they sounded. We would certainly recommend Lori and Scott to anyone planning a wedding or a special event. I recently had a Brida shower for my sister, Sweet Tea was our band, their variety of music was great the 90s music to present. I highly recommend them for any occasion. I definitely hire them again. Thank you Lori and Scott for such wonderful time .

We loved this band! I’m a huge 90’s fan and they played a great variety including some oldies that i loved but had forgotten about. I loved every song! Lori & Scott are so nice. This band was the perfect addition to our intimate bridal shower. They were punctual & professional and we will definitely be using them again in the future!!

Sweet Tea Acoustic Duo was the best ever at our wedding! They were friendly, organized, and so so talented! Their choice of songs got everybody up and dancing and honestly they fit into the vibe of our wedding perfectly. By the time our wedding ended, we felt like they were old friends! Lori really took the time to ask us questions before the wedding to get a feel for who we are as a couple and what we - and our guests- would enjoy music-wise. We highly recommend them for whatever event you are having!!!!! Love them!!!!

Lori & Scott were amazing! We hired them for our rehearsal dinner/welcome drinks that we hosted on the beach and they set the perfect vibe we were looking for! They did a great job reading the room, not to mention their incredible talent. Lori's voice is incredible! They were extremely friendly while remaining professional. Super easy to communicate with and very responsive, which makes the planning process that much easier. Highly recommend, 10/10!

I came across Sweet Tea on Instagram & was immediately amazed by how great they sounded in their videos. And boy did that translate in real life, they are AMAZING. So talented and just so fun. It literally felt like they were part of the family & they kept the party going all night. They take so much pride in their set up too to make sure the speakers & the sound really work for the space. We also had added Billy on the percussions for the reception and that was such a big hit to really turn up the party. They read the crowd so well & got our vibe instantly, I felt like I handpicked the set list because it was one favorite song followed by another and another! They performed a bunch of custom requested songs for us and knocked it out of the park. It made our day extra special. Hands down best decision to have them at our wedding & I would highly recommend doing the same!!

Lori and Scott were amazing. They helped create a beautiful atmosphere at our wedding ceremony and reception this past weekend. So many of our guests complimented their music, particularly their choice of songs and Lori’s voice. They were also very easy to work with. Lori was super communicative, calling me at the time of booking and before the wedding to chat. They were both friendly and lovely people. I would highly recommend them.

All I can say is "WOW", Lori was so easy going and pleasant to work with throughout the whole process. I was very adamant about song selections for my cocktail hour and ceremony. Lori assured me that I would not be disappointed and boy was she right. I requested to walk down the aisle to "Perfect" and that was exactly what it was. There wasn't a dry eye in the room! Sweet tea were a pure joy! I was super concerned with all the planning ahead and they were nothing but professional and on time with everything they promised. They made our ceremony amazing. We hired Sweet Tea for our cocktail hour in October in Montauk, Long Island. They were both so wonderful to work with. Such an incredible talent and their beautiful voices with guitar really made the cocktail hour exquisite. Save your time looking and book this duo! They are truly magnificent!
