Sweet Trade Photography

a single photo we got back from her looked uncomfortable or posed, which is EXACTLY what we wanted! Of course it helps that it was the happiest day of our lives, but don't chock it up to that. You need Sarah to capture it. For instance, she also did our engagement photo-shoot. We were NOT excited to do an engagement shoot...we aren't used to being in front of a camera like that. But Sarah made it fun and sweet and in the photos...it looks like we're on cloud nine! Sarah arrived on time, and was so accommodating. 90% of my hard work for the wedding was put into my DIY decorations (the other 10% of my hard work was staying away from donuts)...so I asked her to spend some time in the empty decorated venue before she met up with us, so she could snap still photos of all of the decor. She did. She's awesome. Our wedding photos are so fun to look through- all smiles, all laughter, all beautiful. Never a dull moment, and she caught them all. Brides, you know you're going to look stunning on your wedding day IRL, but the wrong photographer can ruin that in photos. Sarah captures the bold colors in your bouquet and your eyes, she snaps you in your most flattering angles (she'll tell you to re-position if you're not doing yourself any favors), and you can look back later and see PROOF of how gorgeous of a bride you are. they came out well. She used to be based in the MD/DC area but she's since relocated to Virginia Beach, VA. I understand she does travel for shoots though. She really captured some lovely moments. It rained on my wedding day, and we couldn't get any outdoor shots. That's a shame because Sarah is amazingly talented when it comes to shooting outdoors. My engagement pictures were amazing as were my boudoir shots. The only reason I'm not giving her 5 stars across the board is because I think she should've used more photo shopping and other editing software to make the pictures and their subjects look perfect.
