I recently had the pleasure of ordering a wedding cake from Sweet Traders and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the initial consultation to the delivery on the big day, everything was flawless. The cake was not only a work of art, but it tasted absolutely divine. The attention to detail, professionalism, and deliciousness exceeded my expectations. We’ve had so many guests reach out to us asking for the name of the bakery because it’s “the best cake they’ve ever had.” I’m so glad they’re local, we’ll be ordering from them for every occasion here on out.

I cannot recommend Sweet Traders enough! From our initial request for a wedding cake tasting to the day of the wedding, communication from their team was fantastic. We initially didn't add on a sheet cake since we had a few other desserts but we changed our mind closer to the date and they were so accommodating! The cakes were so delicious that we order all of our birthday cakes with them. I highly highly recommend Sweet Traders and will continue to order all my desserts from them!

Thanks to Sweet Traders we had the MOST beautiful and unique cake we could have asked for. They designed a custom peacock cake exactly as we had requested without missing a beat. They have great flavors and excellent customer service. A great pick from our end and even better work from their end.

Sweet Traders was very easy to work with. When setting up a sample appointment for our wedding, it was very organized and they were ready for us as soon as we arrived. They gave us an opportunity to sit and taste each cake sample and spend time deliberating. After tasting their yummy cakes, we decided right then and there to work with them! After that, they took care of everything. They were on time and prepared at our reception and I (the bride) did not have to worry about a thing in regards to the cake. They were a pleasure to work with and the cake was delicious! We got lots of compliments from our wedding guests

Sweet Traders made us a beautiful and delicious semi-naked vanilla wedding cake frosted with Bavarian vanilla cream with an Oreo cream filling. The cake was absolutely delicious and one of the best desserts I ate that evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our taste test and appreciated that they had dairy-free options. They even offered us a free cake for our one year anniversary. I can't wait!

Sweet Traders was recommended to us by our coordinator, Christina (from InGobo Events). We went in for a tasting and fell in love with the flavors. We told our vision to Samantha and she drew it up on the spot and it was perfect. They delivered the exact copy of the drawing in real life and it was amazing. The cake was delicious and it looked perfect. Their pricing is also extremely reasonable. We would highly recommend working with Sweet Traders!

We used Sweet Traders for our Wedding Cake in October, 2023 and could not be more thrilled by every part of working with Sweet Trader's team. They were responsive to emails and collaborative with designing the cake. They executed my vision better than I could have ever imagined it - I literally squealed when I saw the cake for the first time! In addition, the cake was absolutely delicious and we received multiple compliments on how excellent the cake was. It was moist and flavorful. I cannot recommend Sweet Traders enough!

Ordered a small 6in cake and an assortment of baked goods for a dessert bar. We had a tasting box which was actually more fun being able to do it at home with our kids to mix and match flavors. They didn't have delivery availability in our wedding day so we had a friend pick it up. Everything looked and tasted delicious!

We loved loved loved our cake and desserts that Sweet Traders made for us for our wedding day. The cake design was exactly what we wanted. The cake flavors reflected both me and my husband's tastes. The dessert set up was a dream. Everything was so delicious on our trial day and tasted equally as amazing day of. We're actually so excited that our friends will also be having their cake and desserts from Sweet Traders on their wedding day so that we can selfishly enjoy all the sweets again! Would definitely book them again for any cake/dessert needs we may have in the future!

Best wedding cake ever!! They did not bat an eye when my wife and I inquired about getting a wedding cake(and surprise cake for my grandmother's birthday) for our wedding. Our consultation was very intimate and we never once felt like we were being "sold" on anything. We were able to select 3 different flavor/frosting combinations and it was so hard! All of their cakes and fillings are delicious. We chose lemon blueberry cake with raspberry filling, marble cake with a raspberry chocolate ganache and lastly a confetti cake with a vanilla Bavarian filling. You will not be disappointed with any combination. We can wait to get a small cake for our 1 year anniversary!

All I can say is wow. From the tasting to the final product, Sweet Traders knocked it out of the park. Staff was friendly, attentive, and awesome. We ordered a small 2 tiered cake and lots of little desserts for a dessert bar and everything was spectacular. Presentation and taste was on point. So grateful that we worked with them, I was so stressed about our cake and they made everything so easy! My husband and I were thrilled!

Sweet Traders is just great! They did the cupcakes for our Welcome Dinner and the cake for our Wedding. They have so many different flavors to choose from. For the wedding cake, we two flavors: peanut butter cake with a chocolate ganache and strawberry swirl cake with baileys buttercream. They were both fantastic. And the cake looked amazing. We had a California ocean theme, so our cake had kelp and coral in our wedding colors and it looked exactly like I asked. We had shark toppers, which they made sure got put on the cake to make it perfect! I was so excited about the cake that I forgot to give my new husband the first bite off my fork and ate it myself :D!

We hired Sweet Traders to make our wedding cake. A big reason we decided to go with Sweet Traders is the amount of options they give you. They let you mix and match icing and cake flavors, which allows you to create your ideal wedding cake. We had a lot of fun at the tasting getting to try out our favorite icing / cake combo. The cake at the wedding was beautiful - simple yet elegant. The cake itself was absolutely delicious. Many guests came up to me raving about how good the cake was. I am so happy we decided to go with Sweet Traders for our wedding cake!

Okay hear me out... this bakery is by far THE BEST in Huntington Beach! The owner Rachael is awesome and makes all your dessert dreams come to life. Plus, they have vegan cupcakes (YUM!) I created a dessert wall for my wedding and had Sweet Traders deliver cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries (ALSO YUM) and all the guests LOVED it! There was barely any dessert left by the end of the night. I highly recommend this bakery for all your upcoming events.

Our experience with Sweet Traders was amazing from start to finish! Everyone was so very helpful from our initial contact, cake/dessert tasting, designing our wedding cake, and setting up our dessert table. We really wanted a variety of desserts for our table and they had so many options to choose from. Pricing is very fair and everything tasted so good! Our dessert table and wedding cake was set up so beautifully. It was truly a one stop shop for everything we wanted -- cake, desserts, rentals, and set up. We will be reaching out again for our upcoming baby shower.

Andrea made the most wonderful cake for us. We live in Virginia and could not do any tastings. So she was able to create our wedding cake from a picture and us selecting our favorite flavors. Easy to work with and timely response. Also I appreciate how understanding she was knowing we were so far away. Everything turned out wonderful and delivery to Long Beach venue was a breeze. My husband and I loved hiring Sweet Traders to create our beautiful cake for our wedding this past September. From start to finish, Sweet Traders was extremely professional, communicative, and easy to work with throughout our entire wedding prep process. The cake tasting was, of course, a fun experience, but most importantly, the flavors actually tasted so good! We went with a 3-tier multi flavored cake (lemon on two tiers and strawberry swirl in the middle tier). The cake itself was beautiful, and our guests loved it as well!! Would definitely/highly recommend hiring Sweet Traders for your future wedding cake needs. We were very happy with the end product!!

Sweet Traders was so helpful in their cake tasting process. All of their flavors and frostings were so delicious, it was so difficult to make a decision. I'm not usually a fan of buttercream frosting, but theirs is to die for. We went with 2 flavor combinations, lemon blueberry cake with mango cream filing and devil's food cake with chocolate ganache filing. I love our cake so much, and I can't wait to order for my next event from Sweet Traders.

We ordered both a single layer chocolate and double layer carrot cake from Sweet Traders. During our tasting we fell in love with the taste of both. My favorite is Chocolate, so that was easy, and we both love carrot cake, and Sweet traders cake was just excellent. You won't be disappointed having Sweet Traders make you cake.

I can't get over our wedding cake and how delicious and perfect it was. It not only was the best cake we have ever tasted, they worked with me to help design and achieve exactly what i envisioned. It matched my dress and was an absolute dream. Sweet Traders is the best, the quality and care the team has is just everything. This is the only bakery i will go to for the rest of my life! My husband and I had sweet traders provide a small cutting cake and dessert station for our wedding of 160+ guests. Working with them was extremely simple and the desserts were amazing! We did a quick cake tasting to pick our small cake and were able to taste some of the desserts for our dessert station. They had a ton of options, so it was hard to narrow it down because they were all so good! I received so many compliments about the dessert on our wedding day and they portioned everything really well. We even had some left overs which we were able to share with family and bring home after the wedding! We were also able to rent a cake stand, dessert stands and were are so glad we did because the arrangements were beautifully displayed and we didn’t even have to think about it on our wedding day. Sweet Traders even includes an anniversary cake and we are so looking forward to it next year! I couldn’t recommend Sweet Traders more and know that you will be in the best hands. Making my own decorations for my wedding I had very specific ideas in mind of what i wanted for our wedding, cake included. They really brought my vision to life! Plus everyone loved the cake! we decided on two flavors, marble and strawberries and cream and it was DELICIOUS! It was so good, we didnt save the top, instead that night after the wedding we sat in the hotel bed eating the cake. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for unique and tasty cake! I also got extra sweet which everyone loved, chocolate covered strawberries for my vegan friends and gluten free cake pops, YUMMY!!

The girls at Sweet Traders were the best. We got our cake included with our wedding package at the Old Ranch Country Club and Sweet Traders was one of the vendors offered. After reviewing the other vendors online we chose Sweet Traders because their cake styles were more fitting for our theme. The cakes are delicious and they offer several filling types to choose from. We chose three flavors and they all meshed well. Their team designed our cake to our vision and even though our vision was on the more simplistic side they made it beautiful. The guests commented how good it was. Dare I use the word “moist” LOL. We would highly recommend Sweet Traders to anyone looking for a cake for any occasion.

In 2020 I had this vendor recommended to me through my venue. In 2021 I re-booked my venue but I remembered this vendor. Unfortunately, you have to pay for cake testing. It was not like that before in 2018. Because of COVID they no longer have cake tasting in person but instead you pick up a box of cake/frosting that you pre-selected and try it at home. My family and I enjoyed this process. Me (the bride), groom, and 4 family members were able to mix-and-match the cake with frosting until we found the perfect combo. I was happy I was able to get their opinion too. I love how for every tier we can choose the flavor. On the day of the wedding the cake was perfection!!! 5 tiers with the flowers cascading down. Everybody raved about the cake not only how gorgeous it was but the flavor as well. My grandma who has been to many weddings said it’s the best cake she’s ever had—not too sweet and the cake was moist. She still raves about this 6 months later! I rented a cake stand to perfect the look. I wish it was included with the cake and instead get charged if I don’t return it. It’s convenient that they don’t ask for the stand right away but allow you to have a week to return it. The last thing you want to do on your wedding day or the day after is worry about wedding stuff! Would definitely recommend to any bride for a stress-free, responsive, vendor with delicious cake!

My entire vision for our wedding cake was captured with the Sweet Traders team. I had a very clear idea of what I wanted our wedding cake to look like and they hit it out of the park! The tasting was seamless and delicious. We decided on a mix of carrot and vanilla cake! I wanted our cake to be a tiered cake but styled/displayed differently than most cakes we had seen in the past. I was entirely inspired by The Royal Wedding Cake (Meghan/Harry) and wanted a replica of that for our wedding day. I know sometimes replica requests can be tough as it may not be exact, but when I tell you this cake was EXACTLY what we envisioned, believe me! I instantly started crying when I saw the beautiful naked cake display at the wedding reception and couldn't believe how perfect it was. This was the cake of my dreams and my gosh was it delicious. Our guest couldn't stop raving about how tasty the cake was and they went back for more slices! This team from day one was kind and open to our ideas. A lovely experience that all couples should have! We were so pleased and adored our cake!!

Sweet Traders Wedding Location: Waterfront Hilton Beach Resort, A Hilton Hotel in Huntington Beach, CA Date: 11/27/21 I really enjoyed working with this team. They were listed as part of the hotel package so I cannot comment on any pricing. I’m not a huge fan of cake as it tends to be dry. Not this wedding cake. The cake was so moist *shudder* that We had to make 3 cuts in order to extract our slice from the cake. We got two flavors which is really neat: red velvet with raspberry frosting and peanut butter with Oreo frosting. Even my relatives who don’t like sweets are it! Pros Yummy 2 Flavors The consultation was very informative, regarding cake toppers etc. They were able to provide cupcakes for our vegan and dairy allergy guests (for a cost) Free cake on your 1 year anniversary if you make it Cons: not the most responsive. Sometimes it does take a while for somebody to answer emails especially if you are not super close to the wedding date There is a fee to pay with a credit card so you can use cash or check to get around it

A week before our Big Day we learned that we were supposed to order a cake through a vendor instead of the venue ordering it as part of their wedding package! That's where Sam and Andrea from Sweet Traders jumped in and saved the day! They promptly took our order for our 75 guest count and delivered a gorgeous 3-tier vanilla with strawberry cream filling (and fresh slices) wedding cake. It was delivered perfectly and they made sure to coordinate with our wedding planner & florist in decorating it. All our guests complimented us on the beautiful and delicious cake! It definitely became one of the highlights of our wedding! Shout out to Sam and Andrea again! They are the best!

Our cake was beautiful and just what we wanted! Sweet Traders was so accommodating when we had to postpone our wedding date and they set up a cake tasting box for us so we could do our cake tasting at home. On the day of they delivered the cake on time and arranged our flowers and cake topper on the cake and it looked perfect!

Highly recommend!! We needed to change wedding cake vendors fairly close to our wedding date due to some pandemic-related changes. Considering this was also a destination wedding, we had to do everything remotely. The Sweet Traders team went above and beyond to make sure we had the exact cake design we wanted and walked me through all of the flavors in great detail over the phone. They did not disappoint! We couldn't have asked for a better experience and were very grateful for the unexpected change. Thank you Sweet Traders!

I had checked out two other cake shops prior to choosing Sweet Traders. What made me choose them was they listened to what I wanted and gave me suggestions when I was not sure of the aesthetics of the cake. The cake flavors is what sold me, it was not too sweet nor too plain and the consistency of the cake was just right! I also really appreciated that they never pushed me to choose "extras". They delivered the cake and the presentation of the cake was beautiful and elegant.

If there is one thing that I do not regret about my wedding, is that I picked Sweet Traders to be my wedding cake vendor. Please check out their website, look at how many different cake designs they have, and the cake is actually VERY TASTY!!! Many of my guests asked for more cake, and mentioned that IT WAS GOOD!!!! They respond to you super fast, answers all your questions, no frustration over the indecisive bride, lol, they understand and support you all through out. Many of my other vendors were not as kind… but Sweet Traders, they truly saved me with my wedding!!!

Samantha and team at Sweet Traders were amazing to work with. Our wedding cake turned out so moist and delicious! We received multiple compliments on the cake, which were half marble chocolate and vanilla and lemon raspberry with heavenly buttercream frosting. The ratio of cake to frosting was prefect. I will be contacting them for all our future cake and bakery needs!

My husband and I recently got married at SeaCliff Country Club and had the most beautiful cake from Sweet Trader's Bakery! We went in for a complimentary tasting, which was so much fun! We had a hard time deciding which flavors to choose because there were so many delicious options and combinations. We ended up opting for a marble cake with cookies and cream filling for one layer, and chocolate cake with praline cream for the other two. Both turned out delicious and our guests loved them. Their staff was incredibly helpful in designing our cake to perfectly match our theme and decor. She gave suggestions and customized the design; it turned out perfect. They provided us with gold cake board to match our decor for no additional cost. Andrea was always quick to reply to our emails and was flexible and supprotive when we had to reschedule our wedding twice due to COVID. They offer gluten free options, which was important for several of my guests and myself. Sweet Traders also includes a one year anniversary cake, so you don't have to worry about storing that top tier or slice in your freezer! Our experience with Sweet Trader's was so wonderful and we would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a cake for their wedding or special event!

They worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted (which was super simple), but showed us all options of what they could do with our ideas. The flavors they offered were so delicious, and they created a cake that was a perfect blend of what me, my husband, and my daughter wanted.

Our wedding venue recommended Sweet Traders for our wedding cake and I’m SO glad they did!! My husband and I aren’t big cake fans, but this cake not only looked amazing, but it tasted amazing too!!! Planning a wedding is one of the more stressful events you'll plan in your life. Picking out the cake and desserts was by far the least stressful part of it all, and Sweet Traders was to thank for that. They were caring and really easy to get along with. Andrea, Samantha, Rachel & the entire Sweet Traders Team were fantastic to work with! The cake tasting process was so fun and easy. They have endless combinations of cakes, icings and frostings to choose from. We ended up selecting a 4-tiered cake with an 'every other' flavor of carrot cake + cream cheese frosting & lemon cake + lemon frosting. The aesthetic of the cake turned out perfectly and exactly as we described. We asked for a 'naked' cake with very simple live white flowers carefully staggered. Overall, our cake couldn't have been more perfect inside and out. We loved working with Sweet Traders and would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of a wedding or special event cake!

We had an incredible experience with Sweet Traders from start to finish. I brought in photos of what I was looking for at our tasting for our wedding cake. Every flavor we tasted was delicious we went with a lemon cake with cream cheese icing. I brought pressed flowers for them to use on the cake and they did an incredible job. Delivered without any issue to my wedding planner at the venue and it was stunning. We had two real layers of cake and two foam layers and no one even knew! We didn’t serve the cake as dessert at the wedding but we ate some the next come of days and it was still so moist and delicious. 10/10 recommend for flavor and looks.

My cake was more than amazing! I don't like sweets so I brought my best friend and my husband for the initial cake tasting, thinking I would trust their judgment. But Sweet Traders cakes are... out of this world! I ate all the cake at the tasting and every day for the next three weeks I found myself saying "I wish we could have more cake today". But also, the cake was beautiful. I had so many random ideas and the Sweet Traders staff took my dreams and made them bigger and better. Our cake was an absolute dream! Seriously, the cake is amazing in terms of taste and design but theres a third factor that is probably most important. Planning a wedding is so stressful. There are so many decisions and contracts etc. There was absolutely nothing stressful about the process of buying a cake. I was 100% confident after meeting with Sweet Traders. I cancelled other cake tasting appointments because I need to see no more. Thank you Sweet Traders. We felt honored to have you as a part of our wedding day. Sweet Traders was so easy to work with and they brought my cake vision to life. My guests said this was the best cake they had ever had. They clearly use the finest ingredients because some wedding cakes, sad to say, taste "store bought" but not their cakes. We got the lemon/rasberry flavor and coconut/chocolate for the other layer.

Sweet Traders provided our wedding cake and mini desserts. They were absolutely BEAUTIFUL and everyone raved how delicious they were! They delivered everything on time, and were very professional. It was difficult to get a response back by email, but when I called they always responded back quickly. I would highly recommend them for any occasion.

Our wedding cake was hands down the most gorgeous thing. We got married on New Year’s Eve and our cake was glamorous and classy. Besides that, it was delicious. They use an Italian buttercream that isn’t too sweet and is just dreamy. We had guests talking about how tasty our wedding cake was days later.

If you want a baker that is: -Creative -Flexible -Attentive -Skilled -Kind You found them! My wife and I are big nerds, and with that comes a lot of specificity in our desires. Sweet Traders was one of 8 different cake places we tried, but no one quite got the concept or had the flavors to match. In seconds, our consultant took our description and churned out a sketch of exactly what we were looking for, but what they delivered was even better than expected. We went with a sculpted cake with two sheet cakes for easy distribution to guests in Praline and Vanilla Buttercream. Excellent texture and consistency with rich flavor. And the price was unbeatable. Cut yourself a break and book an appointment to meet with them! You won't be disappointed.

Incredible desserts! We decided to go with a small 2-tier cake and a few mini desserts and we feel we chose perfectly. The cake was delicious and all the mini desserts were a hit, tasted amazing and looked great on our dessert table. Sweet Traders worked well with our wedding planner/coordinator and were professional communicating in a timely manner. We'd highly recommend them to anyone!

Sweet Traders was one of the bakeries that was included in our wedding package and we went to a few different tastings but they were by far the best! The cake and frosting flavors were amazing that we doubled up on a couple of tiers because it was so delicious! They designed the cake and it was simple and elegant- just what we wanted.

Sweet Traders was a godsend! We were married November '17. They were an ease to work with and I am so happy that we chose them as our wedding baker. The whole process was easy and seamless from start to finish. The tastings were timely and efficient as well as the flavor choices. The end product was fabulous! They are responsive and professional! We would highly recommend them! and after going to the initial tasting we were sold. Samantha was so helpful and the service was consistently excellent during the planning process. We wanted a cake that matched our wedding decor, I brought in a picture I found from Pinterest and Samantha not a problem they could re-create it. We did a 3 tier cake bottom layer was Devils food with Oreo whip cream and the top two were Lemon with Raspberry cream. We chose the Italian Vanilla buttercream for the icing not only was our wedding cake stunning, the taste and quality of the cake was amazing. I am in love with the detail pictures of our cake. They were extremely helpful when I decided to add on a Grooms cake last minute and complete it with ease. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM to anyone planning a wedding or any special event. Like I know we will.

The cake was delicious, beautiful, and exactly what we wanted! We love that we get a free anniversary cake (honestly, that's what I'm holding onto right now to kick the post-wedding blues!). The team at Sweet Traders DEFINITELY knows what they're doing and will deliver perfectly!

They even said that they would make us a complimentary 1-year anniversary cake! I mean, it doesn't get much better than Sweet Traders.

We used sweet traders for my daughter’s wedding cake… The cake was absolutely beautiful exactly what she wanted… And was delicious. We also had sweet traders make cookies for the wedding favors. They were perfect. I had people calling me after the wedding asking where we got the delicious cookies. I would highly recommend them.

My request for our Wedding cake was way of the box. I wanted a Galaxy Mirrored caked and they did just that! The cake was beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice. We got a tasting box and brought it home. Hands down our favorite was the Devils Food Chocolate and Vanilla Bavarian Cream. We couldn't stop eating it, but let me tell you I'm not a big fan of Chocolate cake and omg it was so good! Seriously is the most moist cake I've had. All of our guest and Vendors couldn't stop taking photos and talking about our cake! Thank you so much!

My husband and I hired Sweet Traders to design our wedding cake and couldn’t have been happier with our decision. We went with a 3 tier cake with two different cake types and fillings. One of our combinations was devil’s food cake with strawberry buttercream and the other was a white chocolate cake with a chocolate ganache filling. About a week or two before our wedding day we decided we wanted a dessert table— we chose 4 different mini desserts: tiramisu shooter, fruit tart, eclairs and strawberry shortcake shooters. We had minimal contact with Sweet Traders because not much needed to be said. Their cake was as moist and delicious as it was beautiful. The desserts were delectable and easy to eat (presented with their own little spoons). We had rented some of their dessert stands which were gorgeous chandelier looking stands. It was all set up beautifully and delectable. I will say thought one of my favorite things about them is that they will send us a new cake to enjoy on our 1 year anniversary instead of having to eat year old stale cake. And to that we say, Sweet Traders, we look forward to meeting again. Thank you so much for your impeccable service, taste and style.

We only had to visit 1 cake vendor to know where we would be getting our wedding cake from. Sweet traders is super friendly, very welcoming, and very responsive to emails. They were able to create the exact wedding cake we envisioned! Not only that, but the cake itself was DELICIOUS! HIGHLY recommend sweet traders! Don't give it a second thought!

We scheduled a tasting for our wedding cake after we saw that Sweet Traders was on our caterer's recommended list. We were able to mix and match cake and filling flavors to find the best combinations for our four tier cake. They were all fantastic, but we narrowed it down. The designing portion went extremely smoothly. I showed them some ideas I had saved on Pinterest and we reviewed all of their options and found a superb design together. I received so many compliments on the look and taste of the wedding cake at the reception and afterwards. Many local guests asked for the bakery's name. The cake was perfectly moist and there was plenty of filling to make a delicious plate. The bakery took care of placing the flowers from the florist and the cake topper, so I didn't have to worry about a thing. I am beyond pleased with the service and quality of our wedding cake and would recommend Sweet Traders a hundred times over.
