are so good, it was hard to choose 4 for our cake. What I love is that on our one year anniversary, she will make a fresh, top tier for us so we don't have to eat a frostbitten cake.

She was really easy to communicate with (I usually texted and got a response within minutes), and we were thrilled with how the cake looked, which was icing on the cake- no pun intended. Several of my dad's friends went back for thirds and fourths. I can't wait for our 1 year anniversary to get to experience Lynda's delicious cake, again!!

e chocolate cinnamon flavor seemed to be everyone's favorite, they absolutely devoured it! Great pricing for both cakes as well, she is very reasonable.

e (yum!) and my husband's cake was red velvet. She did a great job with the design, floral topping, -and the cake itself. Almost every single piece of the cake was gone by the end of the night! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a delicious and reasonably priced cake.

my fiancé and discussed various options on pricing ect. She was not pushy and was extremely understanding on us wanting to get back with her at a later time. Once I called her back 2 weeks later she had all our notes and took my deposit over the phone. I agree she doesn't keep in touch throughout the process but it's a wedding cake. How much communication do you really need once details are finalized? The 2 times I called she answered and reassured me that all would be good to go the day of. My bridal cake and my husband's groom's cake were wonderful!!! Taste was on point and the design...I was speechless. I highly recommend Lynda from Sweet Traditions. She was one vendor that I had zero stress or worry throughout my wedding process. Loved it!!

mately wanted. The only slight down fall is that communication was slightly slow at times. But before our big day she did touch base with us to finalize our cake and extra sweets we added. Everything turned out great! We are very satisfied with her services.

-tiered bridal cake and a German Chocolate groom's cake. The cakes were festive for the holiday season and tasted delicious. Lynda is sweet and kind to work with, however she is often difficult to get in touch with and rarely responds to phone calls and email. We got the impression she is just super busy, especially on the weekends when we weren't working and trying to get in touch with her. That being said, if you are okay with giving her the reins to design your cake and want a delicious cake that may or may not look how you imagined, but it will look pretty, Lynda is a perfect choice. Our cakes were cute, tasty and moist (albeit so moist it made them hard to cut as they were falling to pieces, but I will take that any day over dry cake). We were pleased with our experience with Lynda and she definitely delivers a great final product. You can't go wrong with her cakes! She even added strawberries/chocolate covered strawberries to the German chocolate cake (that we weren't expecting) and they looked great! She also went out of her way to make a special cake for my sister who is allergic to dairy. Lynda's cakes were a sweet addition to our Christmas wedding.

azing cakes stood out even more. She let us try many more different cakes then a lot of the bakeries do. I knew I had found the perfect person to make my wedding cake and my husbands grooms cake. When we arrived at the reception and were waiting to make a grand entrance I hear my mom say to my sister "the whole thing fell apart." I had a mini panic moment inside my head and thought "pull it together, you just got married, that is all that matters". So when I asked her she told me my husbands cake was completely destroyed and my cake was leaning. I did not let it ruin my night, but wanted my money back, and wanted Linda (the baker) to know what had happened. When I called after the wedding she blamed it on the venue, she let them know it was too hot in there for the cakes and I guess expected them to do something about it. Linda, take some credibility. She dropped that cakes off at 8am and guests were not arriving until 6pm, of course the AC was not on yet.... What does she do for outdoor weddings? Hope they do not melt and crumble? Anyways.. she told me she would send a check for half the price of the cake. And guess what? I NEVER received my money. That is why I am giving a 1 star review. If she would of held true to her word, I would have given a higher review. I understand stuff happens like cakes falling apart. But how unprofessional of her to tell someone they are getting money back and not send. I guess she thought we would forget she promised us this.... If you decide to use Sweet Traditions, ask your venue if they will allow the cake to be stored in one of their fridges, if not, do NOT use her.

Because my husband hadn't moved to Texas when I booked her, she let us set up a second tasting so he could try everything and we could finalize our flavors. When the cake arrived at our venue, it was gorgeous. Everyone thought it was delicious, and even though you're supposed to save the top layer, we ate our within days of the wedding. I guess it's a good thing Lynda will make us a new anniversary cake. :)

e she would get back to me. That was frustrating as it was 1-2 weeks before the wedding and we still needed to discuss the cake design. The cake turned out amazing! It was beautiful and the cake stand that she used really added that extra umph to the feel of the wedding. Her cakes are absolutely delicious! Everyone loved cake and as a matter of fact most people tried to get seconds! It was every things that we were wanting our cake to be. In lieu of a groom's cake we decided on a dessert table and it was so good! She made an assortment of cookies and brownies and they were all melt in your mouth good! Lynda was definitely a very sweet lady. At our tasting 3 more family members decided to tag along and she accommodated for them so they could have some cake.

when you want to meet with her for the final cake design, you have to call her if you want to make a payment. As a bride, I have more on the plate than I need to handle. She does not call if your payment is late. She designed a cake that I was very disappointed in.

because she did not fallow my instructions regarding the decoration/ detail of the bridal cake. I had something very simple and specific in mind but for some reason she went with something else. The bridal cake she brought to the wedding was still very beautiful and no one else besides my mom and I noticed that it was suppose to be any different. I would definitely recommend Sweet Traditions but just make sure that she understands what you want.

I did have quite a hard time getting hold of Lynda to coordinate details, and then the day of the wedding somehow the plate of chocolate covered strawberries for the groom's cake table didn't make it off the delivery van and so we did miss that. Even with that, though, the bride's cake was so perfect, beautiful, delicious, and everything I had dreamed of, so the experience was overall positive.

I felt a little frustrated throughout the wedding process because I had a very hard time getting a hold of Lynda through email. I will say that she is much better over the phone, but still... terrible at email responses. The cake decorations were very pretty, but not exactly what I wanted (she used a different type of flower, which is not a huge deal, but if you are a perfectionist, you may want to be a little wary). Overall, the cakes tasted good and looked good, and the price seemed comparable to other places. I didn't think it was a fantastic deal, but I didn't find anyone cheaper.

We left the decor up to the chef and she did an absolutely outstanding job. The cakes were gorgeous. The best part was to have so many guests ask us for our cake lady's info because they enjoyed them so much!! I highly recommend Sweet Traditions. I can't count how many people told us how tasty the cake was, and that they had Never had a wedding cake they enjoyed eating. The price was incredible for the product delivered. After signing up with Lynda, I no longer worried about the cake because she was so professional that I knew we were taken care of and she didn't disappoint in the slightest! I plan to get cakes from her for quiet sometime (whenever the occasion calls for cake, really). Make the smart tasty choice and go see her, you won't regret it. Sadly her website doesn't work and you might have to play the voicemail game, but it is completely worth it!

booked her on the spot. Third, she did an amazing job on both cakes. The wedding cake was beautiful and looked exactly as we had requested. The groom's cake stole the show. My husband wears a polo shirt and khaki shorts almost every day so we chose that to be the cake. Lynda worked off a picture we gave her. It was so life like. She even went a got a real life polo horseman to complete the look. Several guests told us it was the "best groom's cake ever." Would highly recommend Sweet Traditions!!!

ity. I thought Lynda was good to work with - very laid back, so don't expect to do a formal contract with her. But, all of her cakes tasted great and I felt they were overall better than the others we tasted. We also requested Key lime pies for the groom's cake, which she delivered without hesitation and turned out well also. My one difficulty was communication, as Lynda is not really good with email and sometimes hard to reach by phone. Persistence pays off though, and we just had to trust that what would be delivered would be what we wanted- and it absolutely was.

My actual cake was indeed delicious and beautiful, exactly as we had planned for it to look. I’m not sure we got exactly the right flavor in the bottom tier since we never got to eat it at our wedding but I would choose her again since her cakes were by far the best I tasted at the all the expos I attended.
