When I changed my mind about my hair, she was supportive. On my wedding day, Ashley and her assistant arrived right on time, and they were very organized getting us ready. The day was super hot and we were outside the whole time, and my makeup held up all day. I loved my hair and my makeup, and Ashley made me look exactly like I envisioned. My bridal party had nothing but wonderful things to say, and we all got many compliments throughout the day on our hair and makeup. I would highly recommend Sweet Violets Weddings for anyone looking for a hair and makeup artist who will come to you and make you feel great on your wedding day.

he wedding, Ashley performs a hair and makeup test for the bride to determine what she likes or doesn’t like. For hair and makeup, my bridal party still raves about Ashley and her team. I did not have a specific style for my wedding, but asked my bridesmaids to choose a look that they were comfortable with. My bridesmaids and myself loved Ashley’s airbrush makeup technique, and her and her team’s execution of hair designs. Before we left for the ceremony, Ashley performed final touchups to ensure everything was perfect. It was also so sweet to see Ashley and her team listen to the flower girls as they described what hairstyles they wanted. This really made the day so much more magical for each flower girl. FYI – Ashley is amazing with children, and my flower girls were following her around all day! They still talk about the cool girl with the purple hair! For day of coordination, Ashley provided an overview of what the wedding day encompassed and asked what my expectations were. She was in contact with all my vendors to ensure there was no oversight on the day of. She picked up the wedding cake and the groomsmen suits so I did not have to worry about that. Furthermore, she was crucial at my dress rehearsal and ensured that any issues I had were handled immediately. While Ashley was preparing the bridal party with hair and makeup, her colleague, Angie, was setting up the venue. Angie was absolutely amazing! Normally, I am very hands-on but I had no apprehension about Angie’s performance at our reception venue. Angie set up (1) the “Kids Only” section of crayons and coloring books and comics, (2) centerpieces, menus and wedding favors at each table, (3) seating chart, (4) wedding cake, (5) guestbook/postcards for well wishes as well as candles and other knickknacks we had. Ashley showed me photos of the venue so I could see and approved of how it looked before the guests arrived. Everyone was so impressed with how our venue turned out! We did not have a videographer, but Ashley took several videos of my wedding day that I will cherish including my husband’s toast to me. My husband and I come from large families, and Ashley helped coordinate our combined family photo with the photographer. She made sure everything was perfect before she left the venue. Also, it is important to note that our wedding ran on time. My bridal party and myself were able to sit down and have lunch at our hotel before the photographer came. The groomsmen also could not believe how relaxed the day was. Ashley is absolutely wonderful, and to any bride looking for a non-stressful wedding day – Ashley is the best and most perfect choice you can make!
