afar in CA, we knew that we needed someone who would have solid planning experience and would be able to build a connection with. It was by chance and pure luck that Sharon and I connected. About a month before my wedding, we found out that we had to find a new planner since our previous planner unfortunately wasn’t going to be able to fulfill our wedding to completion. I had previously connected with Sharon via email during my initial planner search and decided to reach out to her to see if she might be available. I hoped she was because she was someone I found an immediate connection with via email (all this before even talking with her over the phone). Because my wedding would be in SD, I wasn’t sure if Sharon and her team would be available since she is based out of the OC area. At this time, I was already going through the motions of interviewing planning companies with the backdrop of the delta variant concern looming and my wedding being one month away. Immediately, once I got on the phone with Sharon – there was an instant connection. In just a matter of minutes, speaking to someone I had never met before, she was able to calm me down, tell me that everything was alright and reassured me that she would be honored if given the opportunity to help us plan the rest of our wedding. Sharon and her team were beyond amazing. From the weeks leading up to the wedding, Sharon would be in constant communication with me and my husband. We discussed the details, organized our timelines, and worked through the unknown obstacles with contingency plans in mind. She looked through all my documents and gave us a fresh perspective and you can just see her dedication to her job shine through. The day of our wedding was beautiful and magical and Sharon and the SLE team executed our vision flawlessly. She went above and beyond to save us our wedding cake (after all the cake drama the week of!) and just added her own special touch to the day. Not only was Sharon an amazing planner who stepped in for us when we needed her the most. But she truly cared about Christian and I. I’ve found a lifelong friend in Sharon and I can’t wait to see where our friendship takes us over these years. If you are in the market for a wedding planner, we cannot recommend Sharon and her team enough!

It was such a relief to have Sharon and her wonderful team to fall back on from the very beginning of the planning to the very end of the beautiful day. Trust me, the week before your wedding you do not want to be collecting your vendors’ insurance certificates or asking your photo booth attendant if he has any food allergies! She thought of everything. She reviewed each of my updated contracts every time we revised something - she even caught that my florist still had the original number of bridesmaids bouquets when it was supposed to have been changed and sorted it out for me. The day of the wedding was stress-free. I’ve had so many guests tell me how smooth everything ran; there was never a lull or awkward moment. My bridal party & husband adore her. My sister made her speech and as she was telling the guests to raise their glasses for the toast, realized she had forgotten to bring her champagne glass up with her. Without a moment of hesitation Sharon was next to her with a glass of champagne - it’s these little things that make her and her team stand out. I could go on about how wonderful she is and how much I appreciate her, but the moral of the story is I really can’t recommend her enough!

of all, Sharon is a wonderful human being. She is kind, warm, knowledgeable about the industry and incredibly professional. She kept out priorities in mind throughout the entire wedding planning process and our wedding was exactly how we envisioned it thanks to her flawless execution. Secondly, Sharon is incredibly responsive. This is a God-send. I often would text or email Sharon with a question and she would get back to me, or take care of the issue, within several minutes. WITHIN SEVERAL MINUTES. She is so efficient and knowing how many wedding she plans at once, I am in awe of her organizational skills and her resourcefulness. She did so much to assist in the process: she helped us in our venue search, she looked over ALL of our contracts and let us know what was the industry standard so we didn't feel overcharged or cheated, she compiled her own amazing timeline for our wedding day and shared it with all of our vendors/family/friends so we were all on the same page, she took care of so many little details and even details that I probably had no idea about. She is thorough, detail-oriented to the 'T' and she is so POSITIVE. Sharon is truly passionate about what she does and it shows. It truly shows. She is seriously the warmest and kindest wedding planner out there and her optimism made the wedding process so much easier and without so much hassle. She was a joy to work with. Honestly my husband and I got sick the week before our wedding and she gave us chicken soup and green juice to help us feel better, JUST BECAUSE. Wow. Just wow. I've had multiple family members and friends come up to our wedding and say that was the smoothest wedding they've ever been to. They were never bored. They were never tired. The whole night just flowed. Thanks to Sharon and her wonderful team. As a Bride, I don't know what I would have done without her... especially in the weeks leading up to the wedding. She literally took care of so many details that all I had to do on my wedding day was just show up and smile. How many brides can say that? You will not regret hiring her. Her business and services are truly top-of-the-line.

Asking Sharon to help me with my wedding was the easiest and best decision I could make for many reasons. Upon meeting her, a huge weight off my shoulders was lifted. Sharon is a true delight. We met in person over lunch and my now husband and I weren’t even serious about the planning process, as we had 16 months to go. She was so positive, friendly, and completely welcoming. We didn’t have too many concrete answers to her questions, and that was ok! But She laid the ground work for what’s to come. She sent a recap, follow up emails and templates for me to use, which helped me stay organized and know what to expect in the next coming months. Months went by, and a Sharon and I usually communicated through email. She provided recommendations for vendors when I needed it and went through every contract as they came through. Sharon understood and respected our wishes and budget requests. She kept it real with us without being pushy and we really needed that. As we were getting closer, and I mean 9 months closer, the more I was communicating with her. I always wanted her input and she was always prompt and respectful. 3 months and weeks before, our communication increased, but in the best of ways. In between full time work and transitioning roles at work, personal life, having her be a part of the process allowed me to breathe and relax. The trend leading up to the big day and even day of, was that I as the bride was the most easy going, calm, cool and collected bride they had ever seen. I had slight nerves the weekend of and on the day of the wedding, everything was taken care of. I mean Everything. Sharon and her team made my wedding dreams come to life in the blink of an eye. I came out every now and then and saw my vision unfolding more and more. The event went smoothly, beautifully, and her assistants were also very helpful and stuck by your side. The day went by so fast and I remember so vividly the level of support and care these ladies had for me. This inevitability meant the same for my loved ones and guests. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Sharon. She is incredibly professional and genuine, very detail oriented and creative. With my wedding over, I am full of emotions and one being I’ll miss talking to her. Sharon makes you so comfortable and valued. It is like making a new friend at summer camp, spending all this time together and then it’s time to go home. You’ll live right? And make new friends at school and it’ll be alright. We cannot give Sharon a higher recommendation, she is simply incredible. In those last 18 months, I was finishing up grad school, started a full-time job, and she made everything so seamless for us. She helped us to find our dream venue (Pasea Hotel in Huntington Beach) and we probably took her to 15+ venues all along Malibu, LA, and the OC. She recommended vendors that were amazing (shout out to Sibyl Sophia Floral Design, DJ Jack Farmer, Xposure Films, Grace and Honey Cakes); she did so much of the work that is often time-consuming and required a lot of phone calls/emails so that we could completely enjoy the process of wedding planning—you wouldn’t think it would be possible, but with Sharon it is! I remember at one point we became concerned because we weren’t really worrying about anything on our to-do list and it’s really because Sharon was so organized, kept us on top of the things we needed to do so that it rarely became stressful. I got sick about 10 days before the wedding and she showed up at my house with a care package of fresh juice to make sure I kicked my cold. If I had to explain her personality to anyone, it would be just that—she’s thoughtful and genuinely cares about the people she works with as they prepare for the most important day of their lives. No detail is spared with her, which I think is so important in this process; she thinks of things that I would’ve otherwise forgot and then panicked about right before the wedding. I have known Sharon for about 12 years and I have seen her grow into the top of her profession, we’re extremely proud of her and we give her our highest recommendation. Thank you for making this day the best day of our lives, we love you Sharon!

Even though I felt like I was on top of many things, it was so great to have someone who has been in the industry, who knows all the small details and intricacies of planning a wedding to tell me about things I didn't even think of, to recommend things that I would have probably tossed out, and to ask questions that really mattered for a wedding. Sharon was such a pleasure to work with. I'd randomly text her freaking out about something and she was always responsive to let me know it's not the end of the world but also to provide some sort of resolve. The day of, her team picked up my boutonnieres and bouquets from my florist because I forgot that we needed those early in one location because my venue wasn't going to open for vendors to go in until a lot later for the florist's team to set up all the centerpieces. During the wedding, the team did such a great job communicating with each other and with us. My Man of honor described them as ninjas. Things were happening to perfection, yet, none of our guests probably realized people were currently working next to them to make that happen. Our wedding was perfect and that's thanks to the Sweet Love Events team.

That's when we met Sharon. She and her team were so well organized and kept us updated on every little change within our vendors and our venue. Any extra changes we requested was addressed immediately with our vendors. Sharon even handled an issue we had with our venue (no fault of her own) swiftly and without causing alarm.
