Hi I'm Jen, thanks for checkin' out Sweetleaf Photography! I am a local Austin / Texas Hill Country wedding photographer who specializes in everything wedding photography related; bridals, engagements, rehearsals, and of course - the wedding day. People often ask me about my photography style. I'm not too much into labels so here's some adjectives instead; relaxed, engaging, nerdy, romantic, storytelling, you get the idea. Let's skip those over-posed pictures of you by those stairs or by that boring old pagoda. I want to capture those fleeting moments of you cheesing so hard and that belly laugh you try to cover with your hand because you think it's too loud (it isn't). I’ll be like that awkward extended family member you don’t really know that well but had to invite because your mom told you to. Just jokin’ I’ll be more like your photo spirit guide, leading you through your day to capture all those natural, beautiful moments and tid-bits that you want to remember forever.
Let's have some fun and make some memories. If you're feeling the need to discuss the philosophical ramifications of time travel, then I'm the photographer for you! Well if I must..I love bad jokes (thanks to my hubs), gardening, new recipes, outdoor shtuff, playin’ with my kids, philosophical debates, and of course takin’ LOTS of photo + video. I’ve got the ol’ ball and chain and my two little rascals Elijah & Oliver who are growing up way too fast…mom tear. For the real nitty gritty details, I’ve been a photographer for just over a decade…sheesh that sounds long, and I have a BFA in Photography from Texas State. ich was an absolute blessing. Jen is not only incredibly kind and easy to work with but she is fast and does amazing quality work. I was so surprised to see the ceremony photos because she was so quiet and swift, I had no idea how many she had gotten. We are not a couple that frequently takes photos but she made the whole process so smooth and relaxed and we had an absolute blast. Her pricing is way more than fair for the spectacular work she does. She arrived early and was on it the whole time. She even got our gallery finished well before the expected completion date. Jennifer and I hopped on a call and we went over exactly what I specific moments I wanted captured since my husband and I had some unconventional moments planned.
On the day of our wedding we worked with Jennifer and her second photographer, Audrey. They were pleasant to work with, very flexible, and they were able to get amazing shots of our big day based on their experience.
