My husband and I founded a business after we planned our own wedding and realized there is more than what is on the market now. We had a wonderful wedding however we lacked the desired Pinterest look everyone is always after. I looked back thinking I could have done so much more, and if I couldn't do it for myself I would do it for others! My background as a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America cultivated my creative eye to bring all the best things to your wedding!

I heard about Sweetmade Cakes through Knot and searched many sites because I wanted a unique cake, something different and out of the ordinary. I wanted a 90's vintage-themed cake with bridges and a water fountain. She knew exactly what I wanted, and her suggestions were spot on. I was very impressed and ecstatic with how beautiful our wedding cake turned out. We received many compliments and lots of pictures were taken. I was obsessed with the cake; not only was it stunning, but it also tasted amazing and sweet. Everyone's favorite was the rose champagne flavor. It was fantastic and our guests loved it. We absolutely loved it!

Sweetmade was amazing to work with! Mari was professional and kind and her cakes are just delicious.
Mari took our inspiration photos and brought them to life, bringing us a cake that was just as beautiful as it was delicious. We can't wait to taste it again in a year on our anniversary. We love that we didn't have to worry about saving the top tier since she included a little mini cake perfect for two that we could take home, freeze, and save. Wouldn't hesitate to contact her again in the future!

Absolutely LOVED our wedding cake!! We were able to book with short notice (husband and I had elope-y wedding) and solidifying the details was easy and streamlined. We got the cake was delivered straight to the venue which was super easy and stress free. There was even the cutest mini cake included - it was all so beautiful and I definitely recommend!

Really doesn’t even deserve this one star! If you really love very dry and tasteless cakes this shop is for you! I think the samples we received were made the week before due to the dryness! But that account for the no flavor!!

Sweetmade is the absolute BEST! They go above and beyond with every order. Mari, the owner, is incredibly skilled, creative, trustworthy, honest, and friendly. She has the ability to turn your cake/dessert dreams into a reality and somehow make it even better. She’s up for any challenge and is not only excellent at creating timeless and classic desserts, but she also consistently stays up to date with the latest cake trends. After my multiple experiences with Sweetmade (including planning and designing a stunning cake for my upcoming wedding), I could never go with any other cake vendor for an event or celebration, big or small. Mari’s innovation and constant strive to introduce a new aspect to her business always leaves you impressed and knowing that your dreams can in fact become reality. Maybe you’re not so much of a cake person, do not fret, because her macaroons are to die for! The soft pastry filled with just the right amount of sweet filling always leaves you wanting more. I have nothing but good things to say about Sweetmade.co! I may be a little bias because I first got the chance to try the amazingly delicious and BEAUTIFUL cakes because I won a giveaway. But, I have come back for more because everything she bakes is made with so much love and care. Yes, you can tell! I don’t think I’ve met a kinder cake lady and most bakers are really sweet so that’s saying a lot! Communication is always fast and you literally won’t find anyone as thoughtful, kind, caring, and not to mention someone who makes such beautiful cakes that you don’t want to eat them. Mari cares about her business, craft, and local community so much. That’s just the icing on the cake for more reasons to love her and support her business!

Let me start off by saying Sweetmade is not only delicious, one of a kind designer cakes, but the communication and friendliness of the company is AMAZING! They put a lot of work and detail into their cakes and it shows! We have ordered birthday cakes, baby shower cakes, holiday goodies, and not to mention my favorite (their macaroons)! If you are looking for a breathtaking cake for your event, Sweetmade is the route to go! Don’t know which flavor to get? I recommend their Raspberry Champagne, it’s delicious!

Have bought a few cakes and other pastries like macarons and cupcakes from sweetmade, and can honestly say they have never ever disappointed! No only are they absolutely stunning to look at, they favors are always super outgoing and yummy. Will continue to order with them for all my baked goods needs!

Love Sweetmade cakes! I found her through one of my good friends. She made an edible breakable heart that Sweetmade created that said “bridesmaid”, super cute! I reached out when she had her cake tastings available, and didn’t regret it! We were able to choose from 6 different flavors that were all delicious! After many cake tastings, I did appreciate the serving size she gave us. I also appreciated the fact that we were able to pick up and try at home. My fiancé and I are very busy and this made it very convenient. We picked her for our wedding and I can’t wait to see how it all turns out!

My Husband & I absolutely loved how Sweetmade made our vision for our wedding come to life!! We had an amazing experience going through a taste tasting (everything was amazing) it was very hard to choose flavors for our cake. We hired Sweetmade for our engagement video, wedding floral arrangements, wedding deserts which included custom sugar cookies & macarons, their slo-motion video booth & the best of all, OUR WEDDING CAKE.
Going with Sweetmade made our special day that much sweeter! I would totally recommend!

Got married in May 2020! Sweetmade gave us the best wedding service! Mari Valencia not only made us a nice elopement cake for us to enjoy (which tasted AMAZING), but she also made my bouquet! Her husband Eric also did our wedding photos which came out incredible! It was nice getting everything we wanted and needed to make our day special all from one place!

This review is not the most conventional. Mari Valencia the owner of sweetmade and my wonderful wife loves weddings. She gets the opportunity to coordinate weddings and make wedding cakes BUT she also did most of the planning for our wedding and she has made wedding cakes for all our friends and family members. I’ve never met anyone so passionate about doing what she loves. With work and planning she still had time to make cakes for each of them. Needless to say, my wedding experience was amazing, and I could tell that our friends and family's experience was as well. I know my wife is just as passionate about our customer’s cakes and coordinating as well. WOW what an amazing woman!

Getting married this June! Scheduled my cake tasting with SweetMade and I was blown away; she had so many cakes to try and let us pick out 12 different combinations. They were all moist and flavorful, but our favorite was pineapple upside down and cookies and cream (I’m doing a 2 tier).
Mari was amazing, she worked with us and helped design our cake to fit our personalities and budget.
My fiancé even surprised me on Valentine’s Day with a mini cake from SweetMade (pineapple upside down of course..... lol did I mention it was one of our favorites)
Cant wait to see the final result!
