We had a really disappointing experience with Sweetwater a Flower Market. From the start, communication was scattered and hard to follow. When we received our flowers on the weddin...
g day, nothing matched what we ordered—the colors were completely different from what we discussed, and the arrangements looked nothing like the samples we chose. The quality felt cheap and rushed. We went in person to the shop multiple times to confirm the details since the coordinator Dana does not live locally and is clueless about flowers and completely unhelpful. It was a big letdown on what should have been a special day, and we can't recommend them to other couples. When you spend so much time and money planning your day, it is a bummer to not get what you asked for.
This is the saddest review I have to write. I don't love giving bad reviews but honestly this was the only piece of our entire wedding planning that didn't go well. We loved deal...
ing with Dana but when she left we felt like we were an inconvenience at best. First we weren't notified that they closed their location that was near our venue and would have to potentially drive 30 min south and back on our day. When we called to find out what was going on the nice young lady on the phone said it wasn't a problem, they would drive to us. Secondly, when we had our call to confirm our order (which was small) I felt like I was a bother and my choices in style and flowers were wrong because "all bridal bouquets have..." There wasn't anything friendly about the conversation. Thirdly, A week before the wedding I got a text message that they had deleted my file with my photos and could I resend it. Lastly, on the day of the wedding we picked it up and I could have cried, it wasn't anything like I talked with Dana about and they forgot my husband's boutonniere. When I called I talked to a young man that said they were very busy today and will work on it. When I got a call back I did get an apology but also got a "it wasn't on your order" which it was and I sent immediately. And then was told they could get me a generic one and could I come get it. When I said I couldn't they did say they would get it to me before the wedding.
The whole experience was unfortunate. I try to assume best intentions and we all have bad days but my family and spouse wanted me to be honest, maybe you'll have better luck!
We LOVED our results with Sweetwater Flowers on our wedding day. Dana helped us from start to finish. She brought our vision to life given our budget. Our bouquets were unbelievabl...
y stunning. Definitely recommend them to get quality results.
Sweetwater was apart of our all-inclusive package at our wedding venue. They were super easy to work with and captured my vision perfectly. They made the process stress-free and th...
e flowers were beautiful! Super nice people and very quick communication. Definitely recommend!
Sweetwater provided all bouquets, boutonnieres, and decorative flowers for my daughter's flower-themed wedding at Hearth House in Monument, CO, June 22, 2024. The flowers were all ...
gorgeous and the arrangements for the ceremony and the flowers hanging from the ceiling in the reception hall were absolute showstoppers. Sweetwater knocked it out of park in making my daughter's flower-themed vision come alive, and they were a huge part in the beauty of the day!
We hired Sweetwater after having a huge meltdown over some other vendor proposals we got. We had a decent floral budget, but some other vendors were asking for triple what we could...
afford. After speaking to Dana on the phone about our budget and vision, we immediately felt like we were in good hands. We did not want the traditional white wedding, and everyone at Sweetwater made us feel like they not only understood our vision, but they were excited about it. On the day of, I nearly cried over how flawlessly they executed our vision and aesthetic and just how much better they made it than what had been in my head. They seriously transformed our venue into the most magical, beautiful wedding we could have dreamed of. They were so on board with every crazy idea I had and executed it 10x better than I could have dreamed of. In full transparency, there was one small miscommunication regarding breakdown at the end of the night, but Kristyn rectified the situation, and that's all we could have asked for. I would definitely recommend Sweetwater to Colorado brides.
We absolutely loved our bouquets from Sweetwater. They blew me away by making them better than I could’ve dreamed. Absolutely incredible to work with. Highly recommend!
We planned our wedding in Colorado Springs while in our home state in the Midwest, and Dana and her team at Sweetwater Flower Market were very easy to work with. We had a small cer...
emony with a floating floral arch, bride's / maid of honor's bouquet, and floral pocket squares for the groom / best man, along with a garland display for dinner tables. Dana met with us both over the phone and in-person when we visited CO to help create our floral vision for our wedding and reception. We were pleased with the design inspiration they helped us come up with, and with the final product on the big day. Thank you Sweetwater!
Overall, my experience with Sweetwater was amazing! They are a preferred vendor with my venue and I used them for my bouquet, groom's boutinnere, father/grandfather boutinneres x3,...
mother/grandmother corsages x3. The flowers arrived fresh and smelled amazing. The bouquet was well-made, wrapped in beautiful ribbon that I was able to add on to, and arrived in water to stay fresh. The rest of my florals for my wedding were silk alternative with a different preferred vendor, so my bouquet was not the same as the other flowers and I actually LOVED the uniqueness it gave our ceremony.
Dana was easy to work with and I would use Sweetwater again for another event!
The florists at Sweetwater a Flower Market saved the day. Due to a mistype in dates on the order on my part, I had inadvertently ordered flowers for the wrong month! When I went ...
to pick up the flowers on the day I thought I ordered- they figured out the problem and made the order within 3 hours! Thank you Sweetwater. And the flowers smelled amazing and the bouquet was a true work of art. We are truly grateful for their flexibility.
Sweetwater was the worst part of my wedding day. I was initially so excited after my consultation with Dana. I was having a small backyard wedding and flowers were my only splurge ...
item. I ordered a cow skull with flower decorations, a larger display, a flower crown for my daughter, and flower clusters for a lattice fence. When the flowers arrived, I was shocked. They were skimpy, half-dead, and expensive! The only thing that we didn't need to bring back to have "enhanced" was the flower crown. The "clusters" for the fence showed up as individual stems, and cost almost $5 PER STEM. My mom ended up saving the day with some flowers from our local Safeway, which were a fraction of the price, fuller and healthier. After all was said and done we reached out to the owner to get some of our money back and we were promised a partial refund. That never happened. When we called months later to follow up, they claimed they had "no recollection of a refund being promised." Save your time and money. DO NOT GO TO SWEETWATER!
Dana is the sweetest! my flower arrangements turned out so nice and my flower crown made me cry it was so beautiful. my only regret is not having them do my boquet. highly recommen...

nd and deliver a missing bouquet to us! We were so happy with Sweetwater as a company. Everything we ordered was gorgeous, and they included an arch for our ceremony! 10/10
I contacted sweetwater along with 3 individuals who had their own businesses to get quotes. Sweet water was the cheapest option and their coordinator had spent an hour on the phone...
with me for a consultation going over what flowers I liked/disliked and what I wanted for my bouquets. She was amazing and helpful. They sent me a quote with our inspo pics etc the next week. I decided to use them because I had the best experience with their consultant and they were also an established company. I wanted the least amount of fretting for my wedding as we were from out of state. My dad picked up my flowers the morning of my wedding. When I saw them I hated them. Even if I had picked them up myself, they wouldn’t have been Able to fix them so last minute. They sent the two bouquets in water and it was a 25 min drive to my venue. By the time they arrived, The bouquet was falling apart, the flowers were wilting already. They also had 60-70% roses which I strictly said I wanted minimal of them because I don’t like roses. The bouquet had nothing to hold it together, one tiny ribbon you can see in some of the pics and it fell off before 2 hours went by. I literally had a flower fall off my bouquet mid pictures. People commented on how poorly my flowers were put together to my face moments after my wedding. We did our best to photograph them on only one side to get the best look we could so it doesn’t show how badly they were made. I called the company 3-4 days after my wedding. I spoke to the consultant again and she apologized and said she didn’t have written down that I didn’t want roses and I stood up for myself and told her I clearly remember saying AT LEAST 2X that I wanted minimal roses. She didn’t really have anything else to say to me. The owner called me and apologized. She said she understood how frustrating it was as her video at her wedding got ruined. I explained I was calling to help them fix their services so this wouldn’t ever happen to another bride. She talked to me for 10-15 min and told me she was so so sorry and that’s not how they do business etc. She asked what she could do to make it better and I told her obviously my wedding was already passed so she couldn’t fix the bouquet for my wedding. Hindsight, I should’ve asked for some money back because I would’ve honestly rather had fake or no flowers than the bouquet I had. She found out I lived out of state and asked for my address and said she would think of something to show how sorry she was or to make it better. I’ve given it plenty of time to calm down about and I’m still enraged they didn’t listen to the one flower I said I didn’t want much of, that the bouquet was falling apart the moment I got it, and that she promised to try to make it better and didn’t so much as send an apology card. I guess on the phone when she ensured me multiple times she would try and figure out something to make it better, I should’ve realized that wasn’t going to happen. So I’m posting this review here to hopefully help brides know to be very clear what they want and get EVERY WORD in writing. Like I said the consulting process was awesome and I felt like I knew exactly what I would be getting. I had no idea those wishes would be ignored and the presentation and quality of the flowers would be inferior. I wish I would’ve micromanaged the process more but I expected an established company with good reviews to do better. Sorry sweet water flowers, you didn’t do it for me.
