2025. We are genuinely sorry that you felt disappointed, as that is never our intention. I would like to respectfully clarify a few points for accuracy. As outlined in our contract, our services include floral design, planning coordination, and select rentals. Catering, which includes food and beverages is not listed as one of our services. Two weeks prior to your wedding, when your family declined the previously agreed-upon banquet service, our team went beyond our contracted scope to bus tables and clean dishes so your family would not have to manage this on the wedding day. This resulted in an 18-hour workday for our team, for which we were neither contracted nor compensated. Full service catering was required, as stated in our contract, and this was communicated to you and your family multiple times via text and email. I would be happy to share that with you. We accommodated numerous additions and revisions, including requests made just days before the event, despite the agreement requiring final details 30 days prior. We do not provide catering or beverage services, which was also clearly communicated in advance. Your mother confirmed she would supply drinks and ice for guests; I would be happy to share that communication as well for your reference. I was taken aback by the accusations made in front of guests demanding drinks, though I kept my response minimal as I could see emotions were high. To be clear, we were never obligated to provide beverages for your guests. I'm not sure where that communication dropped, but I do apologize if you were under any impression that we were providing drinks for your guests or a drink station; we were very clear that we do not provide beverages for your guests. Mae agreed to work with the caterers or provide them herself. Again, I'd be happy to provide proof of that communication. Regarding communication, we apologize if anything felt unclear. We sent multiple emails, including timelines, that went unanswered. When we couldn't get responses from your caterer, which I understand is a family friend, we drove to her business to confirm details, months prior to your wedding. We understand the added complexity of planning from abroad, especially while you were living in Cairo until 3 weeks before the wedding. We made repeated efforts to coordinate with your family and caterers regarding guest counts and logistics. Final headcount, menu details, and additional banquet rental requests were received just TWO days before the wedding, despite your contract requiring this information 30 days in advance and our continued requests for that information. Despite this, our team worked quickly to provide chafing dishes, tables, platters, serving utensils, additional linens, a seating chart, and printed menus within 36 hours of your wedding—all to ensure you had everything you wanted on your day. These catering rentals were not discussed prior to your event, and were understood to be provided by your caterers. Per your caterer and your family. We strive to be transparent about what can be accomplished within a given budget and timeline, and we are truly sorry if your expectations were not met. Our team worked tirelessly, making multiple last-minute changes and additions well outside the scope of our contract. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve communication with future couples. You were an absolutely beautiful bride, Hana, and your wedding was beautiful.
