Communication with Tracy prior to wedding day was top notch! He listened to our vision and the team at Sweetwater delivered exactly what we had asked for! Delivery and set up was smooth. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!
Sweetwater does an amazing job with anything floral! When we hired them for our wedding, I had no doubt they would be incredible. Tracy was great to work with, always available for questions and ideas. They are not intimidating and will work with you and your budget. Our floral arrangements were perfect!
Sweetwater floral is the best of the best! Their attention to detail was amazing and they really listen to your vision, but give the best advice and input to make it even better and bring your vision to life in the most beautiful way! Tracy was incredible to work with and had great input and ideas and was always there to help! The flowers were absolutely stunning and made the spaces look so dreamy and romantic! I highly recommend sweet water floral for any of your florist needs!
I spent a year as a florist, and another five years prior to getting married as a plant buyer at a landscape design company. To say that I am a lover of plants and flowers is an understatement. For me and my mom, who helped plan so much of our wedding day, the flowers were by far the funniest and most exciting part. When it came time to pick a vendor, we knew we wanted someone local who valued local plants, naturalistic forms and did not kick out the same stiff, stuffy balls of roses and baby's breath you so often see. We found Sweetwater Floral, and are so incredibly grateful we did. From my first call with Tracy, I knew this was a team of people I would gel with. Tracy, by the way, is one of the loveliest, kindest, most delightful people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and I hope to stay in touch. They are so organized and thorough in their planning, they make it impossible for anything to be missed. I had a very particular vision, and they seemed genuinely excited to help me make it happen. When our wedding day rolled around and their team rolled up to our barn to deliver our bouquets, I was speechless. The bouquet they made for me was everything I had hoped for and more. The smaller bouquets for all my beautiful bridesmaids were just as beautiful. We asked for autumnal, seasonal, loose, asymmetrical and they delivered on every front. The floral arch and surrounding pieces they designed for our ceremony site were unbelievable, and the tables they designed and arranged took our breath away. Simply put, they completely blew our expectations out of the water. Aside from being professional and outstanding at what they do, the team is generally just wonderful to work with - everyone in the shop feels excited and truly passionate about flowers and making something beautiful for their clients to cherish. I am so grateful that we had a photographer who was able to capture their beautiful work, because it is something I will treasure and want to look back on every day for the rest of my life. It was an absolute dream to work with Sweetwater, and I hope to find many reasons to work with them again in the future.

We felt very lucky to have an opportunity to connect with Kalin and work with Tracy. Both were a wonderful team with our incredible planner. We are extremely grateful for the stunning installation that highlighted Bryan's personal stained glass piece he created for the special day. Kalin and Tracy were the absolute BEST to work with. Their kindness, humor, and eye for beautiful flowers delivered us stunning results on our wedding day. They helped guide us with our vision and took all of the guess work out of a complicated process. We knew we wanted color and they stepped right in and picked out the perfect options saving us much needed energy for other decisions. Sweetwater just did our wedding at the end of March, I had followed them on Instagram for a few years and when it was announced they added Sweetwater South I was ecstatic! All expectations were exceeded, the flowers were obviously beautiful, and they smelled amazing, they made our whole venue smell like spring! We got compliments from almost every guest about how much they loved the flowers! My bridal bouquet still looked beautiful almost a week after our wedding!
We had the best experience working with sweet water floral for our wedding. Everyone I spoke with was so sweet, and extremely attentive to what I was looking for with my floral design. The bouquet, center pieces, and other small floral touches all came out better than we had ever imagined. We honestly cannot thank them enough for helping make our perfect wedding day into a reality. We didn’t have a huge budget or event, but did this team treat you like a VIP and just like their star shows? You bet. They delivered and then some.
The flowers for our day were absolutely stunning. When Jess of Sweetwater South posted my bouquet, tears instantly filled my eyes as it was the most beautiful bouquet that I could have ever imagined. Not only was it stunning, they used local and garden flowers to fill it. Like what?!? Local and home grown was such a big aspect of our wedding (from the jewelers, bakers, favors) to have another local aspect just floored us.
Also on top of being beautiful, they make the process so easy. You show them your vision, they just make it come to life. No worries that you will have just absolutely beautiful flowers delivered.

Sweetwater Floral was an absolutely amazing vendor to work with. The owner, Kalin, was one of the sweetest people I've ever worked with. She met with me very early in the wedding process, and asked tons of questions to get a sense of exactly what I wanted. She was able to create a vision with me that was beyond what I could've imagined. All the flowers were stunning, and the service went above and beyond. She was accommodating and I loved working with her!
I loved working with Kalin and the Sweetwater team. They were able to tailor our vision for our small wedding and deliver exactly what we were looking for. The flowers were gorgeous and the team was able to handoff the floral decor and bridal party flowers on the wedding day seamlessly. Kalin is extremely talented at creating beautiful floral arrangements! I will say that you can tell she is extremely stretched thin and on our calls seemed very rushed and she was distracted. A few weeks before the wedding she showed me her vision board which I loved it all except for the orange/brown/peach tones and requested to not have those. The day before my wedding she posted my flowers on her IG and I was freaking out to see orange flowers. I called her and she was very accommodating saying she thought they were more pinkish orange but could take them out which she did. In the end they were absolutely stunning and I loved them. I think you just have to be prepared to get what you get and and had I not seen her post on IG I would have been disappointed.
Our flowers were absolutely gorgeous, I loved my bouquet and it was exactly what I had wanted. Kalin is super sweet and I loved her personality! I did feel like I had trouble getting a hold of her, it seemed like she overbooked or didn't have much time for me. I didn't get my order for my flowers in until 1-2 weeks before the wedding which did stress me out because I just wanted to secure it. I definitely had to follow up multiple times and I wasn't exactly sure what I was going to get the day of. It ended up working out for me and I was super happy with my flowers.

I showed her some inspiration photos and gave her full reign to do whatever she wanted, and she absolutely blew it out of the water! If you can dream it, she will make it happen!!!! She's also just an incredible human and so lovely to work with.
The best florist in the game. There's really no reason to go anywhere else. Kalin and her team are creative, friendly, and the work is truly incredible. We talked about having florals be our "pop of color" for our wedding. After speaking with her, I also gave Kalin full reign of the flowers, which is not something I would do with every vendor. I told her what colors I liked and to let the creative juices flow and she and the team absolutely crushed it!!! We received so many compliments and also utilized the bridesmaid bouquets for centerpieces on our head table. Everything about them was perfect!!!

The moment I found Kalin and Sweetwater Floral on Instagram, I think I was sold. Then once I mentioned to my wedding planner that I had a call with Kalin - the amount of excitement she had to work with Kalin proved more so I was making there right move meeting with her. Then when I spoke with her, it was so relaxed (my wedding planning style 100%) and she was so easy to just chat with. All I knew was I wanted bright colored flowers, a fun vibe and dog flower collars - the rest was up to Kalin as she's the expert here! The 2nd meeting with Kalin at her barn to see some flowers got me SO excited for our wedding day (was it the prosecco?!). Kalin took any stress away that could've come with floral arrangements - I remember texting her from dinner at our wedding to tell her how much I loved the flowers - and then proceeded to get yelled at by my MOH to put my phone away. Kalin is an absolute dream to work with! From the initial conversation about what we had in mind -- to seeing her beautiful work the day of the wedding -- she made my life so much easier. Knowing I could trust someone as talented as Kalin with my wedding took so much weight off my shoulders. My bouquet is upside down, drying in our guestroom as I type this -- and I STILL bop in to see it from time to time because it's just so beautiful. I also loved that Kalin can do anything from simple to extravagant but still make sure it's spectacular. I literally gave her the words "elegant with a little spunk" and it's like she read my mind. Above all she's just an amazing human being. So thankful she was part of our day.
BOOK IMMEDIATELY. I really can't find the words to adequately thank Kalin and the Sweetwater team. They brought to life a vision that I couldn't have even dreamed of and had people talking all night. From the get-go she was such a joy to work with, bringing her "Good Vibes Only" mantra to each conversation, asking the right questions, and getting to know me on a personal level. Throughout the process she kept it real -providing professional advice and insight on where and how my budget would pack the most punch. Kalin is a true creative spirit, someone you can trust with their craft, and took my very vague "I'm not afraid of color and want to celebrate summer" and delivered 10 fold. If I could give Kalin and her team 1000 stars I would! Kalin is beyond talented and created/installed the perfect florals for our day. Better yet, Kalin took the time to get to know my fiancé & I and treated us as family throughout the whole process, just not another wedding client. Add in a little COVID chaos, Kalin rolled with all the punches, re- designing her install 2 weeks before the event. If you're still in the market for a florist- look no further, she is your gal! KALIN! What a woman. I knew instantly when I looked at our floral options that our wedding planner gave us that Sweetwater was the right fit for us. Not only were her flower arrangements GORGEOUS, the woman behind the flowers was a down-to-earth and just plain awesome human being. Seeing the relationships that she has built with all of the wedding vendors in the NoMI area was so impressive. Everytime someone asked me who was doing my flowers for my wedding and I would tell them Sweetwater they would respond with "OMG you got Kalin! she's the best." When our original wedding plans got the boot (thanks COVID) and we made the decision to have a more intimate ceremony this year, our floral needs changed drastically. Kalin still designed the most GORGEOUS bouquet for me and two adorably perfect flower crowns for my young daughters. We are still having our bigger reception next year with much more floral design and I CANNOT wait to see what she comes up with then. Do yourself a favor, if Kalin is available for your wedding date, HIRE THE WOMAN! Professional, insanely talented, creative, and relatable human being. CLINKS!

There are not enough words to tell you how amazing Kalin and here team were for our wedding. From the moment I first talked to Kalin on the phone, she knew exactly what I wanted. She probably could see my vision even better than I could. As I did not live close to Charlevoix, all of our design meetings were via phone. Even though we never met in person for any planning, the flowers on my wedding day were even better than I imagined. Kalin and her team created a beautiful archway of greenery for our ceremony, as well as created a magical reception area. I am so happy Sweetwater Floral was part of our wedding day!

We were so incredibly lucky to have the Sweetwater Floral team for our wedding! Kalin was incredible to work with – she spent a ton of time working to understand what we wanted from florals for our wedding and absolutely delivered. She worked with us on price whenever possible, but more importantly was very honest about where we should spend our floral budget to have the best impact for our vision. Her team did a stunning floral and garland installation above our ceremony site, as well as above our bar for the reception. We were so pleased and couldn’t be happier we chose her team for our wedding!
Sweetwater was great! They met with me in person twice, first to brainstorm and second to solidify design ideas. They even grew dahlias SPECIFICALLY for our wedding that turned out to be this almost neon red/pink that I didn't know flowers were capable of and somehow matched the stationary?? Our wedding was not very flower heavy, and Kalin never pressured us to do more or go bigger. When I asked her to just design something she liked and get weird, she did not disappoint. Definitely a team you can trust to take the reins.
I seriously cannot say enough good things about Kalin and her incredible team of floral wizards. Everything was spot-on and perfect from our initial conversation all the way up to the wedding day. Kalin was communicative, flexible with our needs and had great creative vision! Flowers weren't really where I wanted to spend a lot of my wedding budget so Kalin worked with me on a proposal that fit perfectly within my means and maximized my budget (ie, Smilax vine... umm, what a great alternative to eucalyptus!). We also added some last minute brass hoop bouquets as an alternative to traditional bouquets for our bridal party and WOW they nailed it!
While flowers didn't start as my focus, they definitely became one the day of the wedding as every person in attendance commented on how amazing they were. If you are leaning towards Sweetwater Floral, don't hesitate and just do it as I think they book up pretty quickly. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Kalin and her team were absolutely AMAZING to work with from start to finish! I felt so comfortable asking questions and was provided answers in a timely manner! They balance professionalism with their unique and beautiful personalities - and this shows in their services/designs! The arrangements they put together on my wedding day were breathtaking! I am not much of a flower person (or so I thought) and I was blown away at how gorgeous they looked! I wanted my bouquet to last forever! I would highly recommend Sweetwater Floral for every wedding!
Kalin is absolutely amazing!!! I actually went to high school with her, so already knew her on a personal level. She is actually one of the sweetest humans you will ever meet. She took my vision and made it into what I dreamed of. All I wanted was greenery with some ivories and a pop of coral and my flower dreams came true. I loved everything about my flowers, and how beautiful my wedding looked. She was incredible to work with and is absolutely worth every penny. I wanted to freeze all my flowers if I could have!
I cannot say enough amazing things about Kalin and the Sweetwater Floral team! I did extensive research on florists prior to making my final decision to go with Sweetwater Floral. I was a destination bride and the team completely put my mind at ease about not being able to have any design appointments in person. Kalin took the time to have detailed phone calls with me, put together pinterest boards and revise them until they were absolutely perfect. No detail was overlooked - the team could not have done a better job bringing my vision to life. We received SO many compliments from guests and I could not have been happier.
If I could give my experience with Kalin 10 stars, I would. From the very first phone call, I knew that she would be a dream to work with for our wedding day. She is honest, funny, professional, and really just wants you to be happy. It's obvious that she is passionate about her business, and is invested in being a part of making your day beautiful. I know nothing about flowers, so I didn't really have a clue of what I wanted other than color. Since my Dad owns an event planning company, we wanted to use all our vases/centerpieces, and she was more than willing to accommodate that. She helped us decide on sizes and let my parents drop supplies off a few months before the wedding. When I went to pick up the cake florals from her the day before our wedding, she had one of the centerpieces displayed for me to see, and it was so beautiful that I cried (I am not a crier, and I definitely don't cry over flowers!). Then, I saw the ballroom the next day and cried some more. She brought the bridesmaids bouquets to where we were getting ready, and hand delivered my bouquet to me while I was getting my hair done- I can't tell you how much that meant to me! We still have people talking about the flowers at our wedding, and how we "must have spent a fortune because they were so beautiful." Yes, flowers for weddings are expensive, but we did not spend a fortune- she's just that good! Kalin is reasonably priced, and worth every penny you will spend. On that same note, she is honest about where your money is best spent based on your vision and your venue, which I truly appreciated since I have no knowledge of wedding floral design. She is, hands down, the best in the business, and you will not regret hiring her! Our wedding was a dream come true, and Kalin was a huge part of that!!
Kalin is a phenomenal business woman. Her passion is clear in her communications and she is honest when answering questions or giving advice. I did not use a coordinator or planner for my wedding and she was the easiest (funniest) vendor that I worked with. Of course, my guests were raving about our floral and all 11 of our enormous, overflowing flower box centerpieces were swiped quickly at the end of the night. My advice to brides, don't go trendy; tell Kalin about your venue, a few color hues that you're into, and let her and her team design.
If you want to guarantee one part of your wedding will be stress-free make sure you hire Kalin! I put all my trust in her knowing my vision and bringing it to life and she did just that. We had one phone call early on, shared a few emails as the details got finalized closer to the date and she delivered. Flowers were gorgeous, and the greenery really made our event space pop. There aren't enough good words to say about her except to hire her if you want people talking about your flowers long after the wedding date ends.
I cannot tell you how wonderful Kalin is to work with when you are planning your wedding flowers. After one email and one phone call Kalin totally understood the vibe I was trying to create for the Rehearsal Dinner for my son and his bride. I was working with her long distance as the wedding was in Gaylord MI, I live on Cape Cod MA and my son and his fiancee live in Los Angeles CA.
Kalin created amazing centerpieces that were both stunning and beautifully fragrant. They were the perfect touch for each farm table.
We were recreating the Pacific Crest Trail and Kalin created an organic "wedding cake" for our Trail Mix Bar that was absolutely unique and stunning.
If I can offer advice to any prospective Bride or Mother of the Bride/Groom it would be, place your trust in Kalin and Sweetwater North. Kalin's vision and attention to detail cannot be overstated. She is a true master of floral design. Let her have creative freedom and she will deliver a gorgeous floral event.!
Kalin is just spectacular!!! You tell her the vibes you want and she immediately gets a vision and knocks it out of the park! She is so very talented. She did some gorgeous greenery chandeliers for my wedding in addition to the spectacular bouquets and boutonnieres . Everything was executed perfectly! Highly recommend!!
I cannot say enough good things about Sweetwater Floral and Kalin!! I wasn't very particular and didn't have that specific of a vision about what our floral arrangements would look like, so I have gave her and her team pretty broad strokes on what my husband and I were looking for. We were so, so blown away day-of, not only at how beautiful the arrangements were, but how Kalin was able to somehow create exactly what we wanted from some limited input from me. The arrangements and bouquets were gorgeous and were one of the highlights of the entire day. Beyond that, I truly feel like Sweetwater Floral is a great value (probably the best value in NoMi!) for the final product that you get. We were just so happy with the flowers! Finally, Kalin is just the sweetest person you'll ever meet and a joy to work with. Working with her was one of the highlights of wedding planning!

My husband and I both love the outdoors, and when we decided to get married on Mackinac Island, we knew we wanted to have a garden-themed wedding, where we could bring the outside indoors. As soon as I saw the website, I knew that Sweetwater was a special company, but after my first phone conversation with Kalin, I absolutely knew I had made the right decision. She went above and beyond in the planning process, talking to me on the phone, promptly answering endless emails, and even meeting me for coffee. She has such positive, creative energy, and made me feel so comfortable, it felt like we were long-time friends. She did an amazing job creating my wedding floral, including bouquets, centerpieces, and even a very unique canopy of greenery over the dance floor. I HIGHLY recommend booking Kalin for your special event. You definitely won't regret it!

The Sweetwater team designed 3 beautiful installations for us along with all the table & wedding party floral and delivered it all with ZERO flaws. Kalin is one of the best human beings I know and I'm so thankful she sprinkled some of her magic on our wedding day.

The second I saw the flowers at my wedding, I cried. Kalin and teams' vision for floral + design is beyond what I ever could've imagined for my big day.
