I’m not somebody who wears makeup but I wanted to try something bold and go out of my comfort zone. Jamie did not disappoint! I showed her a picture of what I was thinking of and she nailed it. I fell in love. Jamie, Wendie and Sallie were all professional, easy to talk to and just such a delight on my wedding day. These girls go above and beyond to ensure you love your look for both hair and make up!! You don’t want to pass up on these ladies. They’re phenomenal!

I got married in October 2024 & I cannot say enough good things about Sallie & Wendie. From the hair trial to the spray tan to the wedding day, they were so incredible to work with. Everyone in the room with us the morning of the wedding have been raving about the hair & make-up, but mostly how fun both of them made the whole experience. I will forever appreciate how they started our day off perfectly. They fit our vibe completely & the entire bridal party looked stunning all day. Our hair & makeup survived 12 hours of getting ready, taking photos, getting married & partying. Everyone looked beautiful & I would 100000% recommend them & use their services again!

Swept was simply amazing to work with. I had never gotten professional makeup done before and only professional hair styling once, so I didn’t know what to expect. Jamie and I hit it off right away at my trial, and she was just as friendly and wonderful at my wedding. She purchased several products between my trial and my wedding based on my complexion/ideal look - even though she hadn’t had a client as pale and cool-toned as me before, she rose to the challenge and went above and beyond! Taylor worked with me to get my hair to be exactly what I wanted, and she did a fabulous job with my bridesmaids and my mom as well. I didn’t get to interact with Haley as much but her work was terrific and she seemed super nice and friendly. All the artists were a calm yet wise presence on the wedding morning, and they were flexible, professional, and efficient. They conversed easily with my friends and helped the morning feel smooth. My bridal party and I all looked so beyond beautiful, I truly felt like a princess and everyone told me I looked like I felt so beautiful. Pearl pins stayed in my hair all night, makeup held up through tears and sweat. Absolutely would recommend them, they’re the best!

Jamie, the owner, did my hair and my bridesmaids hair for my wedding (6 people total). Jamie did a fabulous job and was very prompt. A few of my bridesmaids had very long and thick hair and she was able to make their hair like their inspiration and saved time for touch ups. I would highly recommend Swept for your wedding hair needs!

Swept exceeded all of my expectations for my wedding hair and makeup team!! I have always been very picky when it comes to hair and makeup. When I’ve gotten my makeup done at weddings in the past, I have rarely liked the outcome. I like to wear little makeup, with a neutral/natural look-basically still me, but elevated. And with hair, nothing ever works the way I want it to, and always ends the night in a rats nest of hairspray. For my wedding, I had high expectations. This is meant to be the best day of my life where I am meant to feel the most beautiful! That is a tall order! With being so picky, I was really nervous with picking a vendor to begin with, but Swept had great reviews, and had beautiful portraits displayed on their socials to really highlight the skills of their team. Plus, they are really affordable for the service you’re getting! I booked their services and had my trials with Wendie for makeup and Kristin for hair. Can I just say, they were both incredible right from the start. Wendie made me feel so comfortable in expressing my reservations about makeup and where my head was at, and she started out with a baseline and went from there. She made me feel like I could express if I didn’t like something, and didn’t make me feel bad for sharing that! You want to go into your wedding with no hesitations and Wendie did that for me 110%. Kristin was equally as wonderful. My hair is difficult to work with and never does what I want. After back and forth emails, figuring out the look that would work, trying out different products, and 2 trials, Kristin was so flexible with me and made me feel confident through the whole process. She went above and beyond to ensure I felt ready for my wedding day! Day of my wedding, I truly felt like the most beautiful bride and I owe that all to Wendie & Kristin. The makeup that Wendie did for me on my wedding day literally brought tears to my eyes, because I had never enjoyed my makeup professionally done before. My hair was exactly the way I wanted it to look and feel, and Kristin worked tirelessly to achieve that look for me. To know that I would look in the mirror throughout that day, and look back at photos remembering how beautiful I felt, means more than I can put into to words. If you want to feel beautiful, confident, and in awe of your photos for years to come- book Swept.

I had the BEST experience with the ladies of Swept! From the very beginning, Jamie was the biggest sweetheart and very responsive. My artists for the day Shannen, Melissa, and Alishba are not only super talented and they were so much fun on the wedding day. I more than appreciate them and everything they did to make my day even more special. I HIGHLY reccomend Swept!

Wendie, Nina, Taylor, and Meghan were AMAZING! From the trials to the wedding day, everything was wonderful. Myself along with my bridesmaids have never felt more beautiful. Hair and makeup were exactly how I pictured it. Not only do they all do amazing work, they were wonderful to chat with and had such great vibes during wedding day! Highly recommend!

I booked Swept because I wanted a natural yet elevated look for my wedding and they didn’t disappoint! Jordan L and Sara R did an amazing job on hair and makeup. I really felt like myself, which was my goal. My whole wedding party raved that they had never had such amazing hair and makeup!

Excellent work! Highly recommend. My hair and makeup was exactly what I asked for and lasted all day! My bridesmaids all loved their looks as well. Everyone was so kind and pleasant to work with, which made the day run so smoothly! Sallie and Sarah did an amazing job.

Jamie was fantastic to work with through hair and makeup trials to the morning of the wedding. She is so responsive and very flexible. Taylor and Meghan did amazing jobs with everyone’s hair. Wendie and Sara were amazing with all the makeup! We had a large group getting hair and makeup done and they listened to everyone’s various wishes and everyone was so happy! They were so accommodating and made the process of getting ready so fun and relaxing. Can’t recommend Swept enough!!

Lorena and Melissa did such an amazing job! I have never felt more beautiful. People were telling me all night that I looked like a queen or a Bridgerton. I don’t usually wear makeup, so the trial was a bit of a shock to me; I just didn’t look like “me”. Swept paired me with another artist, and Lorena worked with me to pick a lighter foundation that better matched my coloring, toned down the lipstick, and went with cooler tones for my eye shadow, and the results the second time around were stunning! I would highly recommend a trial so you don’t have to experiment day of. Learn from my mistakes: I tried staggering the arrival times so 6 people wouldn’t be waiting around for 5 hours. Don’t! Have everyone there and ready to go. It’s fun to hang out, once less thing to worry about, and you don’t have to pay a waiting fee when your sister takes the flower girl to the zoo and doesn’t make it back on time… Lorena and especially Melissa’s patience was much appreciated and the results speak to their skills. Well worth it and wish I could afford it every day!

Jamie is an amazing makeup artist who made the bridal party look flawless through the humidity and rain on my wedding day! She was so personable and everyone loved her! I’d recommend her to anyone who needs makeup services. Our makeup held up amazingly and we felt like royalty! She helped me rock a red lip that I usually wouldn’t go for, and I received so many compliments on my big day! I’d book her again in a heartbeat! Thank you for helping make my day so special and that much more amazing and stress-free!

My small bridal party and myself worked with Jamie's team (Sallie and Haley) for my wedding day, and they were very easy to work with! Professional, responsive, and creative with our requests. I did a trial with Sallie and loved my makeup but wasn't in love with my hair style I picked, so on my wedding day I asked her to try something different and she rocked it. I was so happy with my look. The only mention is that their trial studio is a bit far out in Joppa Maryland which was a longer drive for me!

Wendi and Kristin truly made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself and exceeded all expectations. From the initial trial to the day of the wedding, Wendi and Kristin were incredibly attentive and professional. They took the time to understand my preferences and vision, and their expertise shone through in the suggestions they made. During the trial, they listened carefully to my feedback and made adjustments until we achieved the perfect look. On the wedding day, they arrived promptly and fully prepared. They were a calming presence during the busy morning preparations and worked efficiently to ensure everyone in the bridal party looked stunning. They were able to accommodate different styles and preferences for each member of the party, and everyone was thrilled with the results. I cannot recommend them enough for any bride-to-be or anyone looking for top-notch hair and makeup services. They are true professionals who will go above and beyond to ensure you look and feel your absolute best on your special day.

I love Swept! Everything went smoothly at my trial. Sallie, my hair and makeup artist, traveled to my venue on the wedding day. She was there right on time with everything she needed. I requested something a little different for my makeup compared to what we did during my trial, and Sallie knocked it out of the park. I absolutely love how my eyes and hair looked. I had Sarah (Makeup) and Taylor (hair) for my wedding day and they were amazing! I looked beautiful and my makeup stayed throughout the whole day. We even finished sooner than anticipated so I didn't feel rushed to make it to get to the venue. All my girls looked so beautiful and I couldn't have been happier with their work!! I would recommend anyone to use Swept for their wedding looks!

I worked with Sallie and she was great! Booking with Swept was really easy and the owner Jamie was very responsive to emails. Sallie was very punctual, gave me and my bridesmaids exactly the looks we were looking for, and finished early! Would definitely recommend!

My experience with Swept was absolutely AMAZING! Jamie the owner was great in her communication via email, and always got back to me quickly. I had Sallie for my makeup, Taylor for my hair and my bridal party’s hair and Alishba for my bridal party’s makeup, for my wedding day and they were STELLAR! I did many trials trying different looks (all the looks were great - I was just trying different looks to find the absolute perfect one for me for the actual day.. it’s a tough decision for an indecisive bride who has been with her partner for 10 years who’s already seen many looks over the years…but I looked the best I’ve ever looked for my wedding day and he was absolutely blown away when he saw me!!) and I also got my engagement photos hair/makeup, my engagement video hair/makeup, and my bachelorette party hair/makeup all through swept! Sallie has such a beautiful energy you want to be around all the time! And Taylor is so calming and centered …they both were such a great team for me to look and feel my absolute best! They’re out of this world skilled, so professional, and deserve all the happiness and love this world has to offer every day! Thank you for being there for me throughout this entire journey, and my special day, and I’ll be seeing you ladies soon for special date nights just to treat myself! :) I highly recommend them and can’t thank you ladies enough!!
