I had a fantastic time working with my hairstylist and makeup artist at Swink! Booking was easy (thank you, Amy), and I had no timing issues on the wedding day. My makeup and hair ...
stayed perfect all day. I would highly recommend them to future brides who want a flawless wedding day look!
The staff at Swink were wonderful to work with, from Amy who helped schedule everyone (we had 10 in need of services!) to each and every makeup artist and hair stylist. Ashley did ...
a beautiful job on my hair and was receptive to feedback when I asked for a second trial - she really made sure we achieved the look I wanted. Kaitlyn did my makeup - she is a true magician! I've never felt more beautiful, which was a great feeling for my wedding day :) Each of my bridesmaids, my future sister-in-laws, a flower girl, and one of the groomsmen had their hair done at Swink and all looked fabulous. Our flower girl and the groomsman even kept their braids through the next day because they loved their hair so much! The only negative I can think of was I needed to add a bit more hairspray when I got to the venue, but that's more to do with my hair type and the fact that it was 7 hours after getting my hair done than anything to do with Swink. This was one of the most affordable options I found and the quality for the price is hard to beat. I was nervous about timing but they finished all 10 of us in less than 3 hours (the bridal party was done in less than 2.5), and it was so much fun hanging out at the salon! They provided a calming atmosphere on an otherwise hectic day, and for that I am incredibly thankful. I highly recommend Swink to anyone looking for professional bridal services in Seattle.
I personally loved my stylist for wedding hair. She was meticulous with each piece of my hair and listened to my wants. However, the stylists that worked on my bridesmaids were not...
as attentive. I had voiced my concern after learning that 2 of my bridesmaids were unhappy with their hair, and the people at Swink rectified it by redoing their styles.

n for my trial, the woman helping me asked questions throughout to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. She took pictures throughout the trial to make sure she would be ready for the day of. On the wedding day, everything went flawlessly and everyone had a great time. I would recommend Swink Style Bar to anyone wanting a wedding updo, a special event updo, or just to feel great!

ning my updo that it lasted all day and night perfectly. I received so many compliments from my guests on my hair and make-up and now I’m loving all of the photos. I’m so grateful that Britni was a part of my big day!
I struggled to find a hair and make-up vendor, and ended up going with Swink. I worked closely with Amy to schedule services for myself, 4 bridesmaids, and my mother. She was abl...
e to help fit us all in and even opened the studio early so that we could be ready in time. It was great to do a "tester" for my hair and make-up in advance of the wedding. My hair and make-up looked beautiful on our wedding day and lasted from my 9:30 a.m. appointment until we went bed at 2 a.m. the next day!!
I went to the University Village location.
I had the same woman work on my hair 3 separate times. For my makeup trial, we tried 3 different styles and the 3rd try was perfect. T...
he day of my wedding, she was able to replicate it perfectly and quickly.

ne as soon as we arrived at the hotel. They also messed up on my mother's makeup (asian). We had to redo that at the hotel as well.

ich made for a fun & relaxing morning. They we very accommodating and truly listened to what your vision was. I had one bridesmaid that wasn't happy with the style she received and the re-did it with no issues. Everyone's make-up and hair looked great in pics and lasted ALL day:)

ster that included me running down the gangplank to catch a ferry with wedding dress in hand, my maid of honor missed the ferry, which lead to many tears... it all worked out in the end and made for a great story. Especially since no one could tell anything happened! My hair and makeup stayed!
Went in for my trial do and she did amazing job! She took pictures and was really quick for the elegant yet messy bun do I had her do.
Did a great job for the real deal- though ...
it did start to come out a bit at the end (to be expected after some dancing).
Great services!
I had my hair and makeup done at Swink along with my 4 bridesmaids. Everyone looked absolutely gorgeous and flawless. I really liked that all the girls still looked like themselves...
- not cookie cutter - but so glamorous! Both hair and makeup showed really well in photos. Swink knows what they are doing! The only downside for me was that all our times were staggered and there was another wedding in there before us. That made planning a little challenging. I'd suggest booking for the time you really want as soon as you decide.
