The bottom tier of my cake was wedding cake with raspberry preserves and the top two tiers were chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. AMAZING! I got so many compliments on the cake, and I was so incredibly excited when I saw it for the first time. I would definitely recommend Swiss!!

nable. My fiancé did want some flavor variation for his Grooms Cake, so we did end up picking a different vendor for that. Swiss does a simple and yummy chocolate cake as the anther option to wedding cake and were very open to suggesting another baker when we said we were hoping for something else. I highly recommend Swiss for every wedding cake!

oning. I LOVED the flowers with the gold leaves. I had a lot of guests who never had a traditional New Orleans wedding cake tell me they never eat wedding cake but ate multiple slices of mine. Because it was incredible, like always. You can never, ever go wrong with Swiss.

fleur de lis designs and fondant magnolias. For anyone reading this and unsure about the almond cake with pineapple filling combo....just trust me....It was as delicious as it was beautiful. It was perfect. I saw even our pickiest guests sneak a second piece. We even had the little bit of left over cake the next morning.....best breakfast ever!

She went above and beyond and I could not be happier with the service that I received and the final cake that we were given. Not only was it stunning to look at, but the taste and flavor were impeccable.

hem for their wedding as well, so it was so special to be able to have the same bakery and cakes at my wedding as they did theirs. They also said they could ship us our "cake topper" 1 year later for our anniversary rather than freezing our cake, which is great! Looking forward to eating this again on year 1.

iful! Cake was delicious guests got multiple slices and people asked us where is it from.. We highly recommend them and the prices are so much more reasonable than the other bakeries. Last minute we actually switched the look up and they were soo accommodating and they decorated the cake with the flowers exactly how we told them to. Thanks again for all the help.

he staff was really helpful in figuring out the right size for our guest count and I really appreciated being able to have different fillings for different layers - I know pineapple isn't everyone's cup of tea. The cake turned out beautifully (sidewinder style with flowers from our florist) and everyone loved it.

. Came the day of the wedding my cake was so plain and didn’t look anything like the image I presented. When I call to tell them I wasn’t happy, they could careless and never tried to do anything to make the situation better. It was my mom and my florist who came through and made it look like something. My guest said the cake they had was dry. So no I would not recommend this bakery. Prices are good but not worth it.

if would be difficult to get all of the details taken care of from so far away but they were so easy to work with and always quick to respond to all of my many questions. I absolutely loved the finished cake. It was exactly what I was looking for and tasted delicious.

It tasted so good too, and I got so many compliments from guests on how good it was. They are very reasonably priced, which makes it even better!

My cake tasting went so well and the cake was moist and delicious, but at the wedding, not so much. Sorry to say, I am very disappointed.

nal! When booking my venue, the base price of my cake was included in the price. Swiss was 1 of the 2 preferred vendors, so it was a no brainer who I was going with. I went to a Bridal Show at the Hyatt Hotel in New Orleans on June 7th, 2017. Of course, both cake vendors that my venue recommended was there and I was able to taste both cakes. Of course, Swiss's was more moist and savory. Fast forward to the night of my wedding, I felt like my cake was drier than the cake that was provided the night of the bridal show. The icing and decor was great but the cake seemed like they baked it a few days in advance and left it in the fridge too long. I was a disappointed with the dryness of it because I just knew Swiss would deliver for my wedding. My cake was also smeared on layer 2/3, but they just turned that part to the back ( I was such a calm bride it didn't ruin my night). Sidebar: My family has ordered 3 cakes since January 2018 and 1 of them was really moist and of Swiss quality. I think the moving of their business to a new location may have had them off of their game. They have moved to their new location though. All in all, I will give them one more chance in August for my husband's birthday to see if they have gotten back into the swing of their great quality work.

The cake was soft and moist and the icing was creamy without tasting overly buttery or sweet. I was floored at how good the cake tasted and would highly recommend Swiss Confectionery to any one in the future.

She brought out samples of the cake and it was very delicious and I knew this was the bakery for my wedding cake. In terms of interactions, it was a pleasure working with Laurie to come up with the creative look for my wedding cake. After a few photos and descriptive words, she knew exactly what I wanted. On the day of the wedding, the cake looked awesome and was very delicious! I would highly recommend Swiss Confectionery for your wedding cake!

worked with me over the phone as we were getting married in New Orleans but living in Atlanta. I was worried about how the cake would turn out, I was reassured everything would be beautiful and taken care of. They were soooo right! Thanks again! Highly recommended

wedding cake, in fact they were dramatically cheaper than most of the other places we went, and their cake was just as tasty! We had a very simple white cake that we had decorated with fresh flowers, and it was beautiful. They were very accommodating and the service was excellent. We aren't huge fans of wedding cake flavor, and so they made us a small yellow cake piece to try for free. They were so kind every step of the way, and delivery was included in the price of your cake.
