ily had a list of 10+ photographers I had found and met with to go over pricing and detail, and was needing to make a decision soon. They all seemed very similar and I felt overwhelmed. I ended up meeting with Switch Focus Studios because a few people I knew recommended her. After that meeting we felt like Diana was a great fit. She was very passionate about making this day what WE wanted, not just saying this is what I normally do, or this is my style. She was very personable and warm and easy to connect with. We got the package that included our engagement pictures- Both my husband and I were nervous and not big picture people so we put it off until the last minute..like most men they aren't big fans of getting dressed up and in front of the camera posing for "hours". But we ended up having a blast! It was so easy and natural, we were all laughing the whole time and most importantly he didn't complain! He asked for a few pictures by himself.. I mean thats a HUGE WIN! That put us feeling really good and relaxed going into our big day knowing what to expect and how comfortable we were with her. She met with us and made our day of schedule which was so helpful! We had 2 photographers which made it nice to get all the shots we wanted ahead a time and also with capturing our first looking going down the aisle. She was awesome at reading us and knowing what we needed she took more time getting more shots when we wanted but also knew when we were getting towards the ended and tired to keep everyone moving. After the ceremony she took us off on our own and made it super private, took her time and got some great shots. She made sure no one rushed us, and that our bridal party got us drinks and snacks when needed. She kept us all stay on schedule and adjusted when we needed. She really took all the pressure off of me and my husband let it all be about us and what we envisioned for the day and made sure it went smoothly (or that we didn't notice when it didn't). She was our advocate for anything we needed and wanted! She got all the important shots I wanted and MORE! After the big day she kept in touch letting us know what was going on with our pictures and when we would get them! she gave us a beautiful usb (which will be nice to keep and know what is on it) that help thousands.... YES thousands of pictures! We got some many it was awesome to go back and look at them all. She even organized them into sections of the day so its easy to find! I really cannot say enough great things about Diana at Switch Focus Studios. You will see hundred of photographers on apps, social media, at bridal conventions and "friends" with camera ..but I promise you meet with Diana and you will know you HAVE TO BOOK HER! She is the best, and we are so thankful that she was a huge part of our big day. We will have these photos and treasure them forever!

She especially did a fabulous job capturing the party (reception) we wanted to focus on to see our guests having fun completely naturally. We loved seeing all of our day captured from the hours getting ready in 2 different locations to first looks and the ceremony. She was very responsive and personable during the entire process. She did an amazing job getting our family together for pictures at the church and moving things along. We did not have a wedding planner, so it was awesome that she was able to step in and provide guidance. She brought along another photographer to capture the reception pictures at the Airline History Museum. My husband and I really enjoy sunsets, so she made sure to grab us at the perfect time to take photographs of the downtown cityscape and sunset. We love looking through our wedding photos and remembering how special that day was. I definitely plan on using Switch Focus in the future for any photography needs.

I called Diana and we had a long conversation about what I was looking for in a photographer, what her photographer style was, and what type of photography she chooses to use. Diana put me at ease throughout our conversation and I picked her sight unseen (except for her photos online). I called Diana a few months after our original conversation to let her know that I had reconsidered her original offer to do a boudoir shoot. Again one of the best decisions I have made!!! I met Diana the day of my boudoir shoot and she instantly put me at ease. She was amazing throughout the shoot and we had so much fun getting to know one another. I can say that after that shoot my confidence level is higher than it was ever before. Diana was quick about getting the unbelievable photos back to me and thought of a great way for me to give my now husband the photos on our big day! Diana and I chatted a few times leading up to the big day and went over timelines, the types of photos I was looking for and the must have shots I wanted. She nailed them all! On our wedding day Diana was nothing short of fantastic! She was timely, organized, kept things on schedule but understood all of the emotions of the day and put myself and everyone else at ease throughout the process. I just went back through all of the photos again today and I am going to have such a hard time choosing which photos to put on my wall and in our wedding book because there are way too many to amazing photos to choose from! of course it was an easy decision. She was also reasonable priced so that helped too :). My husband and I never had professional pictures done before this, so we didn’t really know what to expect. Diana set our minds at ease with being so knowledgeable of some of the most beautiful spots in KC. On top of that, my husband isn’t one to strike a pose, but with a little direction from Diana, he was a natural. It was a very cold day, but Diana came prepared with blankets to keep us warm. She made sure to take her time to get the perfect shot. She made us feel so comfortable and we had an absolute blast. Our engagement photos were stunning. We were so pleased with them which made us more excited for her to capture our big day. Diana reached out to me a couple weeks prior to the wedding to go over final schedules. I really leaned on her when it came to figuring out times, not just as the photographer, but for all the day’s events (hair, make up, etc.). She helped me pin down a schedule so that we weren’t rushing around on the big day and everyone was ready when they needed to be. It made my life so much easier. When the big day arrived, it was seamless. We were all on schedule and Diana played a huge part in making that happen. We ran into a hiccup with our car service after the ceremony and since we had a 6PM ceremony, we were rushing against sun light. Diana put us in her car to ensure we would be able to get our first shots as husband and wife with the sunset. You could tell she really wanted my husband and I to share those few blissful minutes after saying I Do. Those are the moments that make for the best photos. She had about 45 minutes to work her magic with us, as well as, capture the wedding party and get us all back to the venue in time for dinner. She did not disappoint. Her and her team were so professional, fun, caring and overall amazing to work with. Our wedding pictures were absolutely breathtaking. Which confirms we made the right decision. I will recommend Switch Focus and Diana every single time. We will be using her for any future events that may embark our family, as long as Diana will have us. ❤️

However, last minute, literally 2 weeks before my wedding, Diana from Switch Focus Studios was able to book and room and come last night. Not only did she catch amazing pictures from our wedding but she also did a couple of family shoots with me, my husband and daughter. We were all sweating our butts off but Diana was able to catch every single special moment while we were down in Mexico. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. Not only did she shoot our wedding but she's also done my daughters new born, 1 year pictures and also a new type of shoot she started doing, a unicorn shoot. Love her and love her business!

Our wedding was in an outdoor space, and right before the ceremony was supposed to start, someone parked their car right behind where our "altar" was, so the car would have been in all of our photos. Diana took it upon herself to run over and ask the person to move their car. She also got our photos to us quickly. She posted a preview the very next day, and we had all of the photos in our hands before our one month anniversary. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

ea to me, but Diana made it a blast. My wife and I didn't really have many ideas about locations for our pictures, but Diana found locations that matched exactly what we envisioned. People say a picture is worth a thousand words, and after seeing the finished product, I couldn't agree more. I didn't know it at the time, but the night of our wedding would be the last time I would see my grandpa. He passed away a little over two weeks ago. When I saw the pictures from the wedding, there is a picture that Diana captured of me standing and having the last conversation I would ever have with my grandpa. When I saw that picture, I couldn't have been happier. That picture is one of my most prized possessions now, and I can't ever thank Diana enough for taking the time during a stressful night to capture that moment. From the engagement pictures to the wedding pictures, my wife and I couldn't be happier that we chose Switch Focus Studios to be our photographer. There is a reason that Diana gets booked out so far in the future, she's an absolutely amazing photographer and she actually cares about the people she works with. I can only rate her 5 stars, but she's worth way more than that.
