Marilyn and I run a full service photography and videography company serving the whole midwest and destination wedding couples. We are based in Branson, MO near the famous Big Cedar Lodge. We have worked with hundreds of couples over the past decade and seek to be fun, professional, and deliver the absolute best images possible. We are always looking for this little candid moments of your wedding day that can never be repeated or staged.
I, Steve Jones, work with my wife Marilyn on wedding galleries. Marilyn was my second shooter until we started having babies. Now she helps me with editing and making your photos look absolutely perfect. Our online galleries are gorgeous and we have endless options to get you a perfect package that hopefully will not blow your budget if you have one.
As professionals, we totally respect your wedding day and take absolute rigorous care of your photos backing up everything during the capturing of your wedding and in the office making sure nothing gets lost or damaged. Thankfully, we have had only five-star customer reviews and people have only been super happy with our efforts, we are super thankful to work with our couples. Our couples are absolutely the best part of our business.
We can do bookings over the internet or meet on video chat or in person meetings to get to know you before booking. We really love getting to do this business because we know the regret of not having professional wedding photos to look back on and we now get to deliver the most gorgeous, professional images imaginable to couples, which we know is incredibly special to them. Voted "Best in Weddings" every year with the Knot is definitely a honor, but it is really because our clients were willing to come on here and tell their experience with working with us.
Even though Marilyn doesn't shoot weddings with me, I love the second shooters I hire and am so happy I have some of the best photographer friends in the world whom all have mad skills helping me deliver stellar images. I wouldn't want to hire anything but the best for my couples.

My wife and I recently had an awesome experience working with SWJones Photography for our engagement and wedding photos. We were very pleased by the amazing quality photos that were taken during such a special event of our lives. Steve was also extremely professional and he made us feel very comfortable during our photoshoot. They were also very good at communicating and making sure that every single one of our needs were met. If you are looking for a great couple photography, SWJones is the place!

Steve and Marilyn went above and beyond to make sure they captured our special day perfectly! They were so personable and easy to work with before the wedding and on the day of. They're genuine, funny, patient, diligent, and SUCH a breath of fresh air in all the chaotic details of the wedding. They worked their butts off to capture every moment of the wedding, and we couldn't be more happy with the results. We are so happy we went with SWJones Photo for our December wedding at Top of the Rock! We picked him out for the style & consistent quality of his photography.
Steve made the planning process easy & his communication was fantastic. He listened to what we wanted to see & focus on in the photos, and he did a great job picking out spectacular locations that included bridges, waterfalls, greenery and rocks, and Table Rock Lake for our couple photos, and got lots of great shots of people having fun during the wedding. We loved all the fun poses we did and cool angles that Steve & Marilyn got in their shots. His wife Marilyn joined as his assistant photographer on our wedding day and I was so happy she did! They make a great team. We stopped for some impromptu photos in the wine cellar at Top of the Rock after the ceremony and we got some very unique, artsy photos out of that, too, which was cool.
We loved having Steve & Marilyn as our photographers, and we would definitely choose them again! Fun to work with, and awesome photos. We look forward to looking at these photos for many years.

Steven Jones did such an amazing job with both the wedding and the engagement pictures! For the engagement pictures, he was able to make it fun and make us feel comfortable, and we absolutely love the final pictures! We'll be able to cherish them forever. During the wedding he did a fantastic job working with the windy day and alongside our guests to get amazing shots. He got everything on our shot list easily and organically. He sent a few already we absolutely love and we cannot wait for the full portfolio of our lovely day. We could not recommend him enough!
We are SO happy with the overall experience. From booking to the final product everything was so smooth and easy! Photographer showed up to the wedding and captured all the wonderful memories so effortlessly and we barely even noticed she was there. She did an amazing job coordinating all the family photos we were wanting! Could not recommend them enough, final gallery was perfection.

Steven did a fantastic job of capturing such a special moment for us! We now have beautiful pictures that perfectly represent our big day. Not only is he talented at taking pictures with great editing but he also helped BTS. He helped make a stressful day much more leisurely as he organized the crowd and assisted the guests with a rather strict schedule due to having limited time at our venue. My husband and I could not have asked for a better photographer and videographer. They were so flexible and easy to work with. They made our wedding day even more perfect. My husband and I are both from MS. We got married in eureka springs, ar. It was very hard selecting the perfect photographer and videographer, but we found the best!!! we booked over a year in advance and they were constantly in contact making sure all details were perfect. Marilyn shot our wedding on July 21, 2023 and did an amazing job! We planned our wedding from Georgia to get married in Missouri, found SW Jones Photography on The Knot. We were very pleased with their correspondence, attention to detail and process to flow through the pictures without hiccups even when I was stressed. We had our wedding during a family reunion so I requested additional photos to document the reunion and Marilyn made that happen too. I cannot wait to see the final prints
Steve was an absolute dream to work with! Finding a wedding photographer is so stressful and we must of talked to 20 different ones before we found SWJones Photography. Steve was so easy going and was able to wrangle my huge family for photos. Our photos turned out so good and we couldn’t be more happy with our experience with Steve. Steve, Marilyn and their team are very friendly and very accommodating to all our wedding photo needs. We have a rescue dog "Harley" that my bride really wanted included in all the wedding pics. They went out of their way to help us capture a very special day that included Harley as well.

Highly recommend Steve and Marilyn for your photography needs. Past clients had been friends in college, and put me at ease knowing they came highly recommended, and I was not disappointed. Steve was timely with the contract and communication. Marilyn and Steve arrived earlier than scheduled, were ready to start shooting, and captured every aspect of our perfect day. They were knowledgeable about poses and photos, did an amazing job getting family pictures (because honestly getting everyone to stand where they need to be is a huge task), and suggested different ideas I did not think of myself. We decided to to photo and video package, and we absolutely cannot wait to receive and watch the video for years to come. Steve did such an amazing job for our wedding and engagement pictures! He was super quick to respond, always professional and funny! He made us feel comfortable in our shoots and when we got our wedding pictures back all of our expectations were exceeded! Can’t recommend him enough!

My husband and I are not comfortable in front of the camera and actually avoid paying for photography to avoid "awkward moments." We're so glad we were talked into booking with SWJones to capture our wedding because we didn't feel awkward at all throughout the entire event. Steve was great at making us feel comfortable all day. We were able to enjoy every minute of our day while Steve directed us based on how we wanted our day to be captured. He is very receptive, flexible to change and travel, positive, and helpful. SWJones Photo is absolutely amazing! Steve is very professional and knowledgeable while at the same time laid back and super easy to get along with. He and his wife are basically family friends now because they’ve photographed so many of our weddings (my best friends, my brother in laws, and now mine). Everyone who sees our wedding album comments on how beautiful our photos are. I cannot recommend them enough! Seriously, everyone I encounter who is even remotely looking for a photographer (for any occasion) I tell them about SWJones! We love these people, and their work!

Steve and his team were FANTASTIC - truly knocked it out of the park! If I could give 10 stars I would because they are so wonderful to work with - from planning to the final photos! We got married at Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs and he captured the venue beautifully! Without a doubt, hiring Steve was money BEST spent for our wedding, he helped with so much more than just photography!! He captured all of the special moments, he captured all the genuine big-cheesy, eye-squinty smiles that perfectly represented the happiness and emotions of the day! We will look back on these photos with smiles, all the years to come! Steve also took video of our wedding and reception and created the most beautiful video memory of our day!

I hired Steve for my wedding and he did AMAZING!! There are a lot of great things that I could say about Steve but mostly I am so grateful for all the work that he put into making sure all my photos were perfect! My wedding day was so cold, but that did not stop Steve from having such an positive attitude, remaining upbeat and professional to get us plus our family and friends through standing in the cold weather. And, all his hard work paid off because I am in LOVE every single photo!! I HIGHLY recommend Steve to everyone! You will not be disappointed!
I’m so glad we hired Steve to do our pictures for our wedding! He’s extremely professional and the pictures look amazing. My whole family commented about how quickly he learned everyone’s names and made sure we got all the pictures we wanted. I didn’t have a coordinator, but with his help, we were able to get a timeline for the day and all the main pictures taken before the ceremony.
SW Jones captured our wedding day so perfectly. Steve is the kindest soul and a darn good photographer. Our package included so much and the price was very fair. When I started planning our wedding I said from the very beginning that the photos were the most important part to me. SWJones completely blew my expectations and dreams out of the water. If you are having a wedding near the Branson area you will not be disappointed going with Steve. He made sure my husband and I were comfortable so that our photos turned out natural. He captured all the photos on my list and then came up with such cool shots that I didn't even realize I needed. I cannot give enough praise for my experience with SW Jones.
I honestly could not have picked a better person to capture my special day. Steve was a blast to work with and we are so pleased with the final product. My MOH commented how awesome it was that he was intentional with matching the wedding colors and learning everyone’s names. My husband hates taking pictures and said multiple times how how Steve made all the pictures bearable. We will definitely be looking to use him again in the future!

To put it simply, SWJones Photo is wonderful! Steve and Marilyn captured our wedding day from start to finish and were so easy to work with/down to Earth. They were very willing to capture the shots that I wanted, and also used their expertise to get some I hadn't even thought of. Their experience and professionalism shone through during the entire day. My groom and I felt so comfortable with them. Leading up to the wedding, Steve was quick to respond to any of my questions or concerns. He was willing to meet up with us to talk over even the littlest of details. I also felt his prices were very reasonable which was appreciated. I am grateful that I could get everything included in my photography package that I wanted without having to make sacrifices to lessen the price (like I would have had to do with some other photographers). Steve and Marilyn are both so talented and you cannot go wrong with SWJones!!

Not only did he take fabulous pictures, but he was so great to work with. His friendly personality, and efforts to learn everyone’s name and be as connected as possible throughout the day was appreciated. He also was willing to share his knowledge and experience and give great advice on how best to accomplish some of the challenges of the day.
I told my daughter, The Bride, that I felt like she had done a great job of choosing the best photographer for her day. Her Groom chimed in and said, “ I hate taking pictures and somehow she found the one guy who made it ok”.
We had a great experience working with SWJones Photo!! My husband and I had to make many changes due to COVID, and Steve was flexible with us, making the process so much smoother. His wife was wonderful to work with at the wedding and helped the day go perfectly. Oh, and the pictures were flawless, I’ve had so many compliments on how professional and high-quality they look!! AMAZING. amazing amazing amazing and perfect. Steve and Marilyn worked with us to accommodate our specific budget. They had a great planning tool they sent us ahead of time so that they knew what was important for us to capture and remember from our wedding day. The photos were OUTSTANDING and we received 25 photos the day right after our wedding which was awesome. They have a very calming presence as well. My husband and I are kind of awkward especially being lovey-dovey in front of a camera but they made us feel relaxed and captured us authentically. Highly highly recommend working with these folks!! Steve and his team did a fantastic job with our wedding. I spent hours looking for the quality of pictures we wanted for our wedding and from the first time I saw their pictures to when we booked SWJones Photo to going through COVID to the wedding day and beyond I was very impressed with how Steve handled everything. My family, my wife’s family, the guests at the wedding all had good things to say about how professional and laid back they were. Really very professional and easy to work with and I couldn’t have been happier with the professionalism and final product! Steve and Marilyn did our engagement and wedding pictures and we couldn't be happier! From the very beginning, Steve was always very responsive to our emails and questions. The packages and prices were SO reasonable. My husband and I are both kind of shy and awkward at times, but they did a great job of making us feel comfortable. They were very organized and well prepared the day of and captured everything that we wanted and so much more! We are absolutely thrilled with how our photos turned out and it's taken us weeks to try and decide on our favorites.
