About this vendor

We believe:
-That you can make no assumptions about what an event should and shouldn’t be. We rely on our training, experience, and intuition to produce intentional events.
-Every choice is about the experience – unexpected details, the service, the flow, the entertainment, the lighting; every detail large and small matters.
-That love is a human experience. We celebrate the modern union. We do not discriminate against any couples based on looks, age, gender, religion, race, or sexual orientation.

Lauren, the owner of Swoon Soiree, is the absolute worst. I had to cancel my services because I ended up canceling my wedding. I canceled within the allotted timeframe as outline i...
n the contract SHE made and she took me to small claims court. I was able to attend court over the phone but MAN do I wish I would have been there to see her face when the judge ruled in my favor. Simply put, she doesn’t understand her own contract. She took me to small claims court over $1800 and argued that she lost out on business because she held the date for our wedding. So instead of trying to possibly book it or doing something productive she SUED US and on top of that she lost!
Also, I want to point out that she said she put in work for our wedding and she did not. Per our agreement, because we had booked her for the”month-of,” we did most of the work- we researched and found our own vendors, we read the contracts, negotiated the terms and booked them ourselves. Literally all she did was give us access to her planning platforms that’s it! Anyway, yea, stay FAR AWAY from this planner.
Lauren was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She asked better, more thorough questions than any of the other planners we interviewed. She was always quick to respond, handle...
d everyone gracefully, and ensured everyone was prepared for the big day. You'd be making a mistake not to go with her.
We were so incredibly lucky to work with Lauren and have her there every step of the way with our wedding planning process. We hired her for full planning and design and are so tha...
nkful we did. She helped us through every big decision and small. She did a great job going through every pro and con of every decision we needed to make and made sure we knew the value for every penny we invested into the wedding. She was extremely detail oriented and was able to handle any crisis, big or small (one being I left my veil in DC for our Richmond wedding!! Lauren was on it right away!!) . You are in great hands if you have Lauren by your side for the big day.
From the moment we sat down with Lauren, we were confident that she could execute our wedding plans flawlessly. As a somewhat picky couple who knew what they wanted and didn't, we ...
appreciated Lauren's candor, efficiency, compassion and thorough knowledge of the industry, as well as experience with our specific vendors and venue. Highly recommended!
Lauren was really great to work with and was especially helpful when we had to deal with postponing due to Covid. She is a hard worker and helped make our wedding day perfect!
Amazing, amazing, amazing! Lisa was just priceless. She handled every detail like a pro, very on top of things. She anticipated things we did not and made our evening perfectly or...
ganized so we could just enjoy our night with family and friends. Highly recommend them, they were wonderful! I plan to use them for other events, they do all event planning, not just weddings.
Lauren and the team at Swoon Soirée are absolutely incredible to work with. Lauren was the perfect partner to help me plan my wedding, and was so knowledgeable, accommodating, fun,...
creative, and organized! I recommend her to all my friends, and would recommend her to anyone looking for day-of coordinating, partial planning, or full planning.

he day of the wedding. I would recommend her and her team highly.
Lauren was so great to work with. I first messaged her about a year before my wedding, when I was freaking out and thinking we should just elope. She managed to talk me through t...
he process and after a meeting at my local Starbucks, I hired her and am so glad I did!
Lauren was able to explain to me so many things--like why flowers cost so much or the importance of a proper timeline. She kept us on track throughout the day of and kept me very in the loop without stressing me out at all. Throughout the whole process and day of, I felt informed and as stress-free as one could be throughout this process.
Lauren even cancelled a vendor for me who ended up not being what I hoped for, saving me a lot of time and stress. She helped me figure out every request, no matter how out there it was. During the hurricane in the fall, she even helped out a friend of mine during her venue possibly being in an evacuation zone.
I can't recommend Lauren enough! Plus, her logo is a unicorn, which is just a great bonus on top of everything else.
