And, if you choose our farm-grown summer flowers for your July or August wedding, just by leaving your bouquets out to dry afterwards you can preserve those memories and feelings forever.
At Sycamore Farm MD, we celebrate your dreams of an exhilirating wedding day, and will work with you to achieve your vision through flowers. And, because we grow much of the material ourselves or source it from neighboring flower farms, you will be leveraging some of the best values in wedding flowers available anywhere.
We are proud of our field-grown, organically-cultivated flowers and value the trust you put in us to craft them into beautiful florals to enhance your wedding experience. After a 45 year career in medical research, I traded the lab for new lavender fields in northern Maryland’s famed horse country. What began as a small retirement experiment quickly grew into a thriving micro farm, where I’ve spent the past five years cultivating lavender and creating a line of handcrafted products loved for their quality, fragrance, and connection to the land.
As the farm flourished, I expanded into specialty cut flowers, drawn to their color, movement, and the joy they bring to life’s celebrations. Today, I grow a curated selection of sustainably and organically raised blooms—including zinnias, Asiatic lilies, sunflowers, and more—harvested at their peak for unmatched freshness and vibrancy.
I now offer farm fresh floral suites for summer weddings and events, designed in styles inspired by The Knot’s most-loved aesthetics: modern, romantic, vintage, rustic, and classic. My design philosophy is simple: let the flowers speak for themselves. When blooms are grown with care and arranged with intention, they bring a natural elegance that feels both personal and timeless.
