Prior to wedding day we chatted multiple times and filled out a long questionnaire so that they were better prepared for the day and knew exactly what to expect and what I expected as well as I knew what they expected to make sure we got all the pictures taken. On wedding day - I never once felt uncomfortable in front of the camera and they made sure to get every shot that me, my mom, and my husband mom requested (that's a lot). I felt like I had always known the two of them and they were more like friends taking pictures than actual photographers. They made sure to make me feel beautiful and guest talked about how friendly they were to them and others at the ceremony and reception. They had a preview of my photos sent to me by the following morning and gave us a gift at the wedding that I will cherish forever. They had all my photos back to me in a timely manner and even wrote a blog for everyone to see and tell about my wedding day. I could not have asked for any better photographers.

e and even my fiance enjoyed our engagement shoot - and he hates pictures. They are both so fun and positive. They made me feel so special throughout the entire process. On wedding day, we fought crazy wind and rain. They brought my spirits up and got some amazing pictures. At the end of the night, they gave us, my parents and my husband's parents a large framed picture of one of the pictures they took THAT DAY. I still don't know how they pulled that off but that was so special to me. I highly highly highly recommend them!

time for the thousands of questions I sent to Sydney was always very quick. I am a very detail-oriented person and so I was extremely pleased with how organized they were throughout the entire process. They sent us a detailed day-of schedule that helped put my mind at ease so I could actually enjoy the day! My husband and I were pretty awkward at first during our engagement shoot and Sydney made us feel so much more comfortable, and she got the BEST pictures out of it! By the time we got to the wedding day we were so much more comfortable in front of the camera thanks to Sydney and Lex’s direction. As for the actual pictures from the wedding day, I am just overwhelmed with how perfectly they captured the day. We did not have a videographer, so I am so grateful that Syd and Lex covered so many different aspects of the day. I still have no idea how they did it, but during the reception they gave us two framed pictures that they took of us right before the wedding! To be able to leave with one of the pictures already printed and framed was so special to us. I am so happy I went with Syd & Lex Photography and cannot recommend them enough to anyone looking for a photographer!

She sent us a sweet package with a guide on what to expect for the big day to help get us prepared. Before the wedding, she helped me make sure she had a full list of special details and photos that I wanted at the wedding and made sure nothing was left out. On the big day, I knew Syd would get all of the special details I requested and I did not have to worry about missing any photo opportunities. From the moment Syd and Lex stepped foot into Savannah, they were capturing moments. Despite it being a LONG and very hot and humid day in Savannah, they kept up their usual bubbly energy and kept us ahead of our timelines. I was very nervous throughout the day, just worrying about how I was looking but Syd and Lex were so motivating and truly made me feel like I was the most beautiful person in the world. My husband HATES having his photos taken, but during our portraits, Syd and Lex had him very relaxed and we were laughing throughout the whole shoot. Lex even stopped traffic so we could get some beautiful shots in the middle of a street! Now that I am starting to receive some of the photos, I am completely blown away. It is as if Syd and Lex were seeing the world through my eyes and captured every little beautiful detail of the day. They were able to capture moments of laughter, tears, joy and pure love that I can feel all over again just by looking at the photos. I cannot thank them enough for playing such a big role in making the day fun and easygoing, and for leaving us with special photographs that we can cherish forever.

ed was that they email you a few weeks before the wedding and ask for the names of every person you want in particular photos and so on the wedding day they called out for my family members by name. It was such a nice, little touch that made the day go even more flawlessly. My first look with my groom was amazing. It was like Syd and Lex weren’t even there, but they got the most AMAZING photos. My favorite pictures are of my groom’s face when he first saw me (I didn’t even know they were behind me!) and I will cherish those photos forever. Syd and Lex also get your photos to you extremely quickly. Within just a few days of the wedding I had about 40 “teaser” photos that were so wonderful. It was nice to see such professional photos so quickly after the wedding. It doesn’t really hit you until after your wedding that you didn’t take any photos yourself, and searching through your friends social media is frustrating. Getting those photos so quickly from Syd and Lex was awesome. They were also very receptive to my ideas. Any time I sent them a Pinterest photo I had seen they were quick to reply that we would get the shot! I felt they also really got to know my husband and I as a couple (it helps they they ask lots of questions about the two of you before hand!) and they really captured our personalities in their photos. I would, without hesitation, recommend Syd and Lex to anyone who wants high quality and wonderfully personal photos of their wedding day.

She wanted to know every little detail about our love story and it gave me a comfort knowing she genuinely cared and wanted to learn about us. The first time I met Sydney in person was after we had to reschedule our engagement shoot 3 times because of snowy weather. She was so easy to work with, and was always open and willing to meet when worked best for us. When we started taking photos, she made us feel so comfortable and was making us laugh, so she made our jobs easy. It began to rain and she handled the challenge with such composure. She kept looking through the camera roll saying how great the photos were turning out despite the rain, and it made us feel so confident in our decision on choosing her to work with us. Fast forward to our wedding day – she really knows how to rock that camera and manage large groups. We were so fortunate to have Lex there too! My husband mentioned Lex continued to make him laugh and took away the nerves before our first look. Syd and Lex work so well together, and balanced each other out so well throughout the day. As a bride, you are so busy throughout the day that the last thing you want to stress over is logistics, and I never once wondered how things were going with Syd and Lex because they totally took control and took all of the stress off of my back. On our honeymoon, we got the sneak peeks, and they brought me to tears. I had such a confidence in Sydney, and when I saw the pictures, it made me want to shout from the rooftops to every bride to have Syd and Lex capture their big day too. Throughout the entire process, Sydney continued to check in on me, offered help or a hand if I needed anything, and sent us all kinds of material to prepare for the engagement shoot and wedding day. ALL WHILE SHE WAS PLANNING HER OWN WEDDING!!! I promise you won’t find another photographer who is as selfless as this one. THANK YOU SYD AND LEX!

She seemed to fade into the background, yet still did an amazing job capturing the day. As I look back on the photos, I can remember exactly how I was feeling in each moment that she captured. oot, she sent me a handbook on everything I needed to know about wedding timelines, photography, and general wedding advice. I carried this with me at all times for 11 months! It was something totally unexpected and extraordinarily appreciated. Her and her sister Alexis were so fun to work with on our wedding day and I don't think I'll ever be able to look at our pictures without getting giddy and being filled with joy. She is the BEST!
