Sydney is a rockstar! She came in to save the day for us. My husband and I had initially booked another photographer for our wedding. Unfortunately, we had a difficult time getting in communication with that photographer within two months of our wedding. We received a list of recommendations from our wedding coordinator and Sydney was on that list. We are glad she was included. From the initial conversation, we felt comfortable and could tell she understand our vibe. We are a chill couple who doesn’t like traditional wedding photography or posed pictures. We were looking for an artist who could capture who we truly are as a couple. Sydney did that thing! It probably helps that she has a similar vibe and aesthetic to us. All while staying in constant contact, accommodating two postponements, and a change in venue several weeks before the wedding. The day of wedding felt like we had a friend taking photos of us which allowed us to feel relaxed. The photos turned out amazing! We can’t stop looking at them. Sydney was definitely the right choice for us and we highly recommend her!

Working with Sydney was amazing! From when we first reached out to inquire about her services to when we got our wedding pictures back, Sydney was so helpful and willing to do whatever she could to make our experience the best possible. Our original wedding date had to be postponed due to Covid and Sydney went above and beyond to make sure we felt supported and to ensure that she'd be able to still shoot our wedding. My husband and I were both worried about feeling awkward in front of the camera but Sydney helped us feel completely at ease. She kept us laughing and feeling relaxed the entire day. Turnaround for our photos was super fast and we are truly obsessed with all the pictures she took! You will be lucky to have Sydney as a wedding photographer!!

Sydney was wonderful to work with! We were worried that wedding photos would feel awkward and unnatural, but Sydney struck a perfect balance between giving directions and letting us be natural. We felt so comfortable in front of the lens. The pictures came out GORGEOUS! We never imagined that they would capture us so perfectly.

As one of those Covid-engaged couples, we've had to put all wedding planning and romance and hold while we wait and see what the world is going to be like days, weeks, and months from now. A friend, however, did a shoot with Sydney that was so gorgeous, and we decided that we SHOULD be celebrating our engagement - so we reached out to book a photo session. Sydney met up with us while vacationing in Big Bear, and turned our awkward giggly selves into warm, glowy, beautiful photos celebrating our love and this time in our lives. She's laid back and makes the session fun (even for the photo-averse, like my fiance, haha) and she turned the photos around so impressively quickly. As expected, they are drop-dead gorgeous, and she does some super cool and creative prism-y effects that feel like magic. Makes the whole engagement feel so much more real - thank you Sydney!!!

I wish I could get married again just to book Sydney! I booked Sydney as my wedding photographer, but she wore so many other hats! She helped me with planning, calmed me down as I got ready, and made sure I was relaxed and smiling the whole day. My planning process was not easy by any means but Sydney was gracious and understanding throughout it all. I cannot say enough about how amazing she is. I will be gifting her services to all my friends and family as they get married. She is worth it.

So so so lucky to have found Sydney! She was professional, prompt, efficient, and most importantly, super fun to shoot with!! We’re not professional models so “posing” can feel awkward but Sydney not only knows exactly what looks good, she always keeps the mood light and fun which made it go by so easy! Sydney is AMAZING. She is so fun, down-to-earth, insanely easy to work with and be around, and I have never felt less stress in a photo shoot situation! We didn’t have to do any thinking at all. Sydney directed us confidently but was also willing to play and totally encouraged us to be our weird selves. We can’t stop looking at the photos and had no idea we could love them so much. We had the BEST experience with Sydney! She shot our engagement photos throughout New York and immediately put us at ease. She was highly responsive in the weeks leading up to the phots and then was so helpful during the photos. She was kind enough to get our photos back to us within two days, which was amazing. Sydney took our engagement photos and they are my FAVORITE photos from our entire wedding experience. She really took the time to understand us and capture us as a couple. She created Pinterest mood boards, brought props and found the most wonderful locations to serve as backdrops for our photos. She somehow managed to tell the story of our relationship in every photo. We have playful and fun photos. We have beautiful and elegant photos. We have cute and picturesque photos. Her pictures were used for our save the dates and now hang on the walls of our home. Having Sydney as our photographer was one of the best decisions I made as a bride.

We loved Sydney! She is so nice and easy to work with, we ended up having her do our engagement and wedding shoots. She is very organized, professional and most importantly very personable and helped us feel comfortable while doing the photo shoots (some of these poses could feel awkward at times). And she is super quick with editing afterwards, we had all our photos within weeks after our wedding. Sydney was honestly such a gem to find. As I sifted through the endless options of NYC photographers on different wedding websites, I narrowed my options down to only look at photographers who were not only LGBTQ+ friendly but also celebrated and showcased such couples on their website. Thankfully I came across Sydney's work which suited the aesthetic I wanted and our meeting went off without a hitch. I booked Sydney for a surprise proposal shoot at North Brooklyn Farms and she was amazing throughout the whole process. On the day of, she helped calm my nerves and listened to what I had imagined the shots would look like. My now fiance is more self-conscious about being photographed but she was also able to make her feel comfortable even though we ended up walking around more populated areas. A month or so later, my fiance also booked her for a second surprise proposal. We got some really fun, whimsical shots around the Bushwick Collective before convening at the Brooklyn Cider House. I had no idea what was planned next but Sydney played right into Paula's plans perfectly and so naturally that I never suspected all our friends were waiting in a back room and Sydney was able to capture the surprise moment perfectly. We will cherish these photos forever and are beyond ecstatic with how they turned out. After all that's happened (and all the secrets Sydney was able to keep!) we feel like we've gained a friend throughout this process. Finding someone you trust to capture (and truly get) your love story is very important. Sydney Angel was amazing! She fit in with our family and friends, and was very professional at the same time. We absolutely love our photographs, and the amazing effort she put into capturing our special day!

Sydney was INCREDIBLE. It poured the evening of our wedding, which should have ruined our dream of an outdoor ceremony and photos. Sydney did not let that happen. She was game for wandering the streets of Brooklyn in the rain, and captured our rooftop ceremony. The pictures came out even better than I could imagine, and managed to make the rain look romantic and elegant. I could not recommend a photographer more.

Book Sydney ASAP! She worked magic for our engagement photoshoot in Washington D.C. – they came out exactly as we wanted! She worked with natural light, which is something we absolutely wanted. The photos are stunning & intimate. We love our dog so much and obviously wanted to include her in our photos, too. Sydney was extremely patient with our goofy and energetic 2 year old golden retriever – the photos of the pup look so good I cried (tears of pure joy of course). To be honest, I am not an extroverted person at all and was a little nervous to have my photo taken and be directed to do certain poses, etc. But Sydney made the whole process super fun & painless. We loved how easygoing she was to work with. Sydney made our photo dreams come true, we couldn't be happier! We would absolutely work with her in the future, and highly recommend her.

Sydney was simply wonderful! My husband and I were very nervous about taking engagement photos, because we don't know how to pose and often feel awkward posing. On top of that, we wanted to include our dog in the shoot, which complicates matters just a little. Sydney was very communicative, and made me feel at ease right away. She asked us for inspiration photos of what we liked, and was flexible on the date and time. On the day, she made us feel at ease during the shoot while helping us get the effects that we wanted based on our inspiration photos. Sydney is truly and Angel of Photography! As someone who hates taking photos and feels extremely unphotogenic, Sydney made both my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera and look like a million bucks! She also made an effort to learn the bridal parties names, go with the flow of organizing family for photos and being super stealth to get some wonderful shots. When we got out photos back (in record time!) we truly relived the day all over again laughing, crying and embracing each other. Where do I even start?! Our journey with Sydney began 1 year ago when we fell in love with her style and video chatted with her before hiring her to take our engagement photos. Sydney was amazing to work with. I have to admit that I did not have a clear vision of what I wanted with our wedding photography and Sydney helped guide me and provided me with her insight and knowledge. We had a small ceremony in Central Park and Sydney mapped out the entire park to create the best route for our pictures. She was incredibly flexible in her schedule- I had asked her a few days before the wedding to come to the ceremony 30 minutes earlier than originally planned. She informed me that she kept her entire day open for my wedding. The pictures turned out amazing, the entire family loved them. Sydney captured the candid shots during the ceremony and then guided myself and my husband around the park for some fun, edgy shots. I loved the mix of traditional and edgy as it suited everyone's preferences. Working with Sydney felt like working with a close friend, she's easygoing, personable, and funny. Sydney did an excellent job on our engagement photos!!! When I saw the finished product I was in shock - as I am not a very photogenic person! She did an amazing job capturing the right moments and directing us in poses but also letting us just be us. There were a couple specific shots I wanted and she captured those and more! I booked Sydney just a few weeks before my City Hall wedding, and she was very communicative in the weeks prior to the wedding. She talked with us about what we were looking for, was willing to adapt her normal schedule to accommodate our plans and Skyped with us before the big day. On the actual day, Sydney was so lovely to work with! She was kind and personable, felt like spending time with an old friend. When we got the photos back in under 2 weeks, I was blown away. Not only was it a very quick turnaround time, but the photos were more beautiful than I could have possibly imagined. They are fun and creative without looking too cheesy. The value of the product Sydney offers is amazing, as they are beautiful and professional photos, but at a very reasonable price. I am already looking for another reason to hire Sydney, as I think she is just perfect and I cannot wait to work with her again!

AMAZING AMAZING Photographer! Not only are Sydney's shots absolutely STUNNING objectively (just check out her website!), but it was so exciting to see the great shots that she got under the radar, when I wasn't even aware she was shooting. She was so kind, transparent, and friendly from the get-go, I felt like we were friends immediately, which made all the shots feel more comfortable and natural. She was also an unobtrusive presence during the mini ceremony that even though I'm very camera-shy, I felt very comfortable. She did such a fabulous job, and she was so kind & flexible with her time-- I would recommend her without ANY reservations. She's the best!

Sydney is the perfect photographer. She listened to what I wanted, and put up with the craziness of the day and things going wrong with grace. She got every shot I asked for, and millions more. She delivered far beyond what most photographers promise, and in HALF the time. I know people who got married a month before us and barely got their edits back a few days before we did! Sydney just finished our engagement photo shoot and we could not be any more pleased. Her prices were very reasonable, and we were incredibly happy with the results. A great bargain for what we got. I took a look at the photos from our wedding the other day and was overcome with emotion. Not only because it was an important day but because how beautiful a job Sydney did. We started the day very early at the hotel getting ready. She was there taking photos of our parents, getting my makeup done etc. She made sure to shoot every detail from my rings and dress to my mother zipping up my wedding dress. She caught the most beautiful private moments. My husband having a hug with his dad, my mom looking into the mirror at her suit proudly and my husband and I saying goodbye so that I could my dress on and surprise him. These are the little things that matter so much. She is the kind of person who is so easy to be around and incredibly professional. You really feel like she's part of the family not just a random photographer to shoot the most intimate moments of your day. It just felt right. From the ceremony, to the mini party to the big party, it was a LONG day and she was there for all of it. Looking at the photos makes it seem like yesterday that it happened and not four years ago. I guess that's because she captured all of it perfectly, never missing anything and we are eternally grateful for that.

Sydney and her assistants were great to work with! They all had a sense of humor and let my fiancee and I be silly; making us feel comfortable and free to play as much as we wanted during our format shoots. Sydney was professional and easy going; we never felt pressured or uncomfortable, and we knew that she could handle things with our large/varied families. She also let us suggest photo ideas ahead of time, and let us know what to expect in return, so we'd feel prepared on the day of the wedding. She even drove to NH from NYC for us and didn't complain (what a trooper)! She had all the photos edited and ready to be shared just one week after the wedding, which was an unexpected pleasure, and it was easy to download them and share them online. With two brides at one wedding, there can be a lot of stress, but Sydney handled everything with aplomb. We would definitely recommend her!
