We thoroughly enjoyed Sydney’s performance! She was right on time and every attendee had only positive remarks. She even took a couple of requests! Her husband’s rendition of “Danny Boy” was an added treat.
We would highly recommend Sydney for a tasteful musical presentation.
The music was absolutely wonderful and soothing for my husband's memorial. It kept me calm during the service and many people there commented on how lovely it was.
I know Sydney to be an excellent harpist! I hired her because her reviews were excellent! I asked her if she could add additional musicians and she found three others (2 violinist and one cello). If you have an outdoor wedding, make sure you protect them from wind where it is not blowing into their instrument. It was very windy and this affected the sound quality. When the wind was calm, the music was lovely! They were very punctual, professional, and very accommodating to our requests for specific song choice. If I had it to do over again, I would make sure they were fully protected from wind (a tent positioned out of wind) and I would probably add a speaker system or a couple more musicians for a more robust sound! I would also allow them to play music they are familiar with rather than expecting them to learn all new material. I found them to be very accommodating unlike others who were only willing to learn one new arrangement outside their own material. If you hire them, let them guide YOU on the music! And follow THIER instruction about where they need to locate for best sound! A quartet is a nice touch to any wedding; especially on a ranch!!
This lady sounded great when booking, but on the day of my wedding. She was late. It was embarrassing and extremely stressful for me, the bride. The wedding coordinator couldn’t find her and when I called her to see where she was, she told me she was on her way...like what.....her tone of voice was dry and short. Like I was annoying her, when she was the one that was late. I was extremely disappointed. And my ceremony only lasted 20 mins tops and she was in such a rush to leave.
