. Her attention to detail is what sets her apart from others. The first time we talked, I told her I was nervous and awkward around a camera, and she worked with that. After we were done talking, she sent a PERSONALIZED website with packages (seriously still not over that), and she included an engagement session with us to practice. Leading up to the wedding, she was quick to respond to my texts and set up multiple calls with us to talk about timelines and details. She was so patient because I'm pretty sure we had 2 timeline calls because I lost what I wrote down the first time... Day of the wedding, she was early and ready to go with the shot list I gave her. She has great guest management skills. I can't tell you how many times people who needed to be in photos wandered off and she had to call them back. She was also excellent at pulling us aside for sunset photos and cake cutting at the perfect times. Finally, when the dancing really started in earnest, she knew when it was time to leave lol. Sydney sent sneak peaks with 48 hours, and the full gallery in less than 5 weeks. There were so many photos it took an entire night for us to go through them. Every single one of them was incredible and I want to frame them all. Her style is exactly what we wanted, and she captured who we are as a couple perfectly. Thank you again, Sydney!!!

She got all of the little details of the day that I wouldn't have even thought of capturing. My husband and I would 100% recommend Sydney to anyone who is looking for a photographer. She traveled to multiple locations on our wedding day to capture photos and truly helped make our wedding dreams come true!

She was incredibly responsive and she had a great digital experience leading up to the wedding for collecting payment, providing tips, and collecting info about desired shots. At our small family wedding she made us feel comfortable and balanced capturing intimate moments with blending in with everyone else. She also was very flexible and met all of our needs the day of. ng the date for the shoot we expected snow for the beginning of November, but we got the most beautiful evening that was very warm for November in Michigan. It was the first time my fiancé and I had ever gotten professional photos taken of us, so I was worried about us looking awkward, but Sydney was so helpful posing us and encouraging us to have fun. Although our shoot was only 30 minutes, we were blown away by how many photos we received, she was able to really capture so much in only 30 minutes! Our photos were so beautiful we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to do our engagement photos!

Even though Sydney wasn't available for the ceremony, she arranged for amazing photographer she works with, Chelsea, come out and shoot our ceremony. Sydney came out as scheduled to take photos of our reception. She made a very stressful situation manageable and I will always be thankful to her for that. Of course - I am obsessed with how our photos turned out!! We already have them framed in our apartment. Sydney is a great communicator, photographer, and person. I would highly, highly recommend her!

e found me an alternate just days before and then made sure to edit them so that my pictures from my ceremony this year and my reception next year will be cohesive. She was able to work with me and my budget and just knew everything i didn't. She wore alot of hats during this while keeping me sane and I'm so appreciative. king sure my fiancé and I had a positive experience. I'm so happy to say that meeting Sydney was just as wonderful as I hoped, and our engagement shoot was AWESOME. Sydney trooped up sand dunes for us, sweat it out under the sun, and THEN got rained on, with a smile on her face and encouragement the entire time! And the result is absolutely gorgeous. lot of photographers in West Michigan handle a wedding day and I can tell you that Sydney is one of the most organized and professional photographers you could ask for. By the time the wedding day arrives, she has already spent so much time communicating with her brides that everyone knows where to be and when, so that she's able to get them all of the priority photos that they are hoping for. Aside from that, she has worked for me as well, and I'm selfishly a little sad that she is usually booked with her own weddings because she completely nails everything that I ask her to photograph and she is my favorite to work with, both in quality of work and just being a fun person to be around. She's one of the most technically skilled photographers that I've worked with, and I use a LOT of the photos she delivers to me when she works with me. Basically she's the real deal when it comes to professionalism and preparedness so that you can relax and enjoy your day and get amazing photos to remember it. d easy-going person. The best part of my story is Sydney had reached out to me. I had a wedding photographer back out on me early in my wedding planning process. A couple weeks previous, Sydney had messaged me over social media to check if I had already had a photographer for my wedding. At the time I did, but after losing my previous photographer and a couple of weeks of drooling over Sydney’s website, I decided to reach out. She worked with my budget and just was an all around amazing person. It was the best thing that could have happened to me. My husband and I are still in awe of our photos months later.
