Syndey Rosen Company is a fantastic operation. From the moment I walked in, Steve R was a huge help to me and answered all my questions and guiding me in the right direction. He educated me on what would be an appropriate engagement ring from the standpoint of beauty as well as functionality. I came in pretty well informed with a certain idea in mind of a ring design, and left with a different setup that was far more timeless and elegant, as well as practical (my fiancee is a nurse so I wanted something that would be work friendly). Along the way of the build process of the ring setup I chose, all my phone calls and emails were answered in a timely and friendly manner, from start to finish truly being premium purchase experience! I can't thank Steve and the rest of the staff of this thoughtful 3rd generation family-run operation for helping me with one of the most important purchases of my life. 5 Stars!!!

I purchased my wedding band at Sydney Rosen. I went to several shops on Jewelers Row, searching for a band to wear with my engagement ring. I saw many similar eternity band (1/2 and full) styles, but one at SR really stuck with me, a beautiful and unique "U-cut" eternity band. Not being local to Philadelphia, both David and Philip Rosen fielded several phone calls from me trying to determine my customization options in terms of ring width, carats, and how far around the stones would go (I ended up doing 3/4). On my next trip to Philly, after several more jeweler visits with none "beating" the U-cut band, I placed my order. It came in very quickly, and they agreed to hold it in their vault until I was in town next to pick it up. When I arrived, I was not completely happy with the back of the band (one side stuck out a bit further than the other) and they made an adjustment that afternoon. I'm happy with my ring now, and love that Jewelers Row is now not only a part of Philadelphia's history, but mine as well.

I purchased my engagement ring here. I had the pleasure of working with Steve. I told him the style of ring my fiance liked and he showed me a few. From there we narrowed it down to 2 rings. I picked the one I liked, but when we had a diamond put in, I wasn't that happy with it. He then grabbed the other ring and put the same diamond in that and I knew it was perfect for her. He then gave me a lesson on diamonds and showed me a few. I was overwhelmed with everything and told him I would like a few days to think about it. He was not pushy and gave me everything I needed. I came back a week or two later and purchased the ring he chose and the diamond. I proposed my to fiance a week ago and she couldn't be happier. She says this ring fits her perfectly with the style and details. We will be going back to get our wedding rings here.

Cannot say enough good things about this place! I was a frequent visitor and emailed throughout our engagement ring process. Even though I felt like I was overbearing and annoying, they never made me feel this way. My husband picked out the setting and we were able to go back and pick out the specific emerald I wanted for my ring. We even bought our wedding bands there. Before the wedding, they cleaned my engagement ring and made it look brand new. If you want quality and knowledgable people, this is the place to go!
