Sydney created gorgeous floral designs for our wedding day. She was able to encapsulate my vision and make it a reality! We had an in-studio design meeting where we were able to see florals for an upcoming event and plan out what the designs for our event would be. I wanted specific vases for our centerpieces; Sydney requested I send them to her prior to our design meeting so she could make a mockup for us to review at that meeting. However, she did not open the package, and our mock-up did not include the vase, requiring us to request (and pay for) another mock-up. Despite this hiccup, everything was beautiful, and the floral arrangements were stunning!

What an awesome team to work with! Sydney and her team did an amazing job for our wedding. We had full trust in Sydney to make our vision come to life, and she knocked it out of the park. Her florals and design flowed beautifully throughout the church and our reception venue. The details were spectacular and our guests were speechless once they were seated at their tables. Sydney was able to incorporate low and high flower arrangements as well as candles throughout the venue. Her team created an amazing seating chart display and were also able to add vinyl lettering to a mirror we had purchased. Sydney and her team take it to the next level when it comes to flowers. Not only is Sydney amazing, but her team is wonderful and passionate too. They wanted to make our vision come to life just as much as she did. We had a wonderful experience working with Sydney, she was always available to text or talk over the phone. She listened to everything we asked for and made it all happen. We highly recommend Sydney for your next event and look forward to working with her team in the future.

I've had the pleasure of working with Sydney and her team a few times now, and it's always a pleasure. We've done neutrals, bright pinks and even a masculine white and black party, Sydney always understands and executes our vision beyond our expectations. Her work is truly more beautiful in person than in pictures, guests are always scrambling to take her arrangements home (It's me, I'm the guests :).

Sydney was so wonderful to work with! Leading up to the wedding, she was easy to work with, and helpful and transparent about pricing and working with our budget. She was also very flexible - our guest count had changed slightly since initially signing my contract with her, and I was thinking of doing different colors - and Sydney was easily able to make the modifications. The flowers themselves were absolutely beautiful! Sydney has a great eye for color and design, and I couldn't have been happier with how they all turned out.

So when Amy and I was looking for a florist, I came across Sydney on IG. All her posts or reels were of beautiful flowers and events she had done. Her work looked amazing and the flowers were always beautiful. Well, on our wedding day we did not get that. Sydney never came to our venue(she sent her assistant) to ONLY deliver the flowers. We did not get the Sydney that post on IG of her setting up flowers for someone's wedding, nor were we told that she would not be there. The flowers that my fiancée wanted for her bouquet was not the flowers that were delivered. She was suppose to have a bouquet that had different shades of purple in it. what she got was a white bouquet that looked like someone stuff a few small violet flowers in between the white flowers. Some of her flowers and the flowers for her bridesmaids were wilted before the ceremony even started. We paid over $6000 for flowers and regardless of the amount of money a customer pay, they should get the same treatment you post on your social media account. If you are not going to be the one setting up the flowers and the flowers are only going to be delivered, you should inform your customer. I understand that vendors will post only what they want you to see on their social media. Just be careful choosing this vendor. I feel that Sydney pick and choose the weddings that she will show up for and actually set up the flowers herself for an IG post. Its a shame because I really thought that she would bring the heat, but did not do that at all!

Wow wow wow. Finding a florist for our wedding was such a challenge for us. We contacted so many people with either no response, delayed response, or way outside of our price range. Sydney not only got back to me the same day as my inquiry, but she met with us virtually three times and gave us a full priced out receipt prior to even booking. I gave her such little direction, and somehow she figured out exactly what I wanted and needed day off. When I saw my bouquet it almost brought me to tears, never mind the table settings, and the other details she provided on the sweetheart table, and at the ceremony. Her portfolio speaks for itself. She’s an incredible woman with amazing talent and I will be using her for any special event here in out!! So many compliments from our guests asking for contact. Can’t sing her praise enough.

I could not have been happier with Sydney Smith's florals & decor at my wedding. She 100% understood the assignment, and knocked it out of the park! When I first saw the reception hall on my wedding day, my jaw literally dropped. Sydney's florals were absolutely gorgeous. The space was more beautiful than I ever imagined, and her florals were the star. I felt as though I had walked into a fairytale. The colors were incredible, and literally exactly what I dreamed of. When I think back to my wedding, Sydney's florals & decor were one of my favorite parts. I wish that flowers could last forever, so I could have saved a centerpiece in our home forever! In addition to being amazingly talented, Sydney is a wonderful person to work with. She is kind, funny, and upbeat. When I met with her during the wedding planning process, she was so warm and fun. She was truly a pleasure to work with and I am SO glad we had her on our vendor team. If I ever have an event that requires florals in the future, Sydney Smith will be the person I call. A+

We were so lucky to have found Sydney, working with her was a dream. When I first spoke with her I told her “I want flowers everywhere”, she made this happen without question! Her and her team put together the most beautiful arrangements I’ve ever seen. Every detail was perfect from the bouquet to the fireplaces to the centerpieces, it was stunning. She was organized, prompt with responses and so much fun to work with! I can’t wait to find something else to hire her for!

We hosted a bridal shower at the Danversport yacht club where Sydney Smith designed the flowers for. She exceeded all of our expectations and totally understood what we wanted. Her crew was amazing, and the guests could not stop talking about how stunning the flowers looked. They truly looked so full and beautiful and I would definitely recommend Sydney to anybody

Sydney was absolutely incredible! I gave her a couple photos of what I had in mind, in terms of style - and immediately she was able to put together a proposal with concepts that exactly matched what I had in mind! When we went to visit, she showed us exactly what our florals would look like at the wedding including the vases, candelabras, etc. I was FLOORED with how flawlessly she executed our vision. She was so lovely to work with, in terms of helping us choose in season flowers, working within our budget, and when the wedding came - the centerpieces came out BEAUTIFULLY, even better than I had imagined. I literally cannot recommend her highly enough.

I had a vision for my wedding florals and Sydney Smith Designs OVER DELIVERED. She was amazing to work with from the time I sent my first email to enquire about her services to my wedding day. When I reached out to her, she immediately booked a consultation with me and asked me very detailed questions about our vision. She stayed in contact with me throughout the planning process to ensure that we were still on track. She even helped me visualize how to move some of the floral placements around to make things even more aesthetically pleasing. On the day of the wedding, she and her team were punctual and professional. Everything looked absolutely dreamy and more beautiful than I could’ve ever imagined. I’m so glad we were able to work with her!

After hiring our wedding planner at the start of 2021, one of the first topics our planner Hermela Belachew of BehindTheDesign brought up to us was, "let's talk florists." After sensing my hesitation, my planner assured us that she had the perfect person in mind....and looking back at that moment today, she was absolutely right. When I first walked into Sydney's floral studio, my eyes just lit up. It was chic, inviting, professional, modern, and elevated. We were greeted warmly by Sydney who made us feel right at home and offered us refreshments and a seat at the table. We started discussing the floral vision for the wedding, and not only did Sydney understand our vision, but also helped us frame out details when we didn't necessarily know the exact type of flowers we wanted or how to achieve the perfect look. Sydney is attentive to detail, extremely creative, and executes floral design to perfection. We received so many compliments from our guests on the florals for weeks after the wedding. Sydney was an absolutely pleasure to work with, and I would recommend her to any bride or person planning a memorable event in their life. I'm not easily impressed, and I can genuinely say it was inspiring to see a young woman and a person of color owning their own business and displaying such passion and professionalism in their work.
