I cannot say enough good things about Sydney's Sweet Shoppe! Best pies ever and sweet service as well. For my wedding, I knew I did not want cake as our dessert. After some researc...
h around Tucson, I found a few bakeries or cake bakers that also did pie, but this place is ALL PIE. And after trying one slice, it was really a no-brainer. We ordered the 3” mini pies for our wedding guests and my husband and I got our own to cut during the reception. They turned out amazing and our guests definitely went back for seconds.
They are a family run business and you are always greeted with a warm smile when you walk in. Every flavor is incredible and always tastes so fresh. Even if you are not planning a wedding, do yourself a favor and just go pick up a slice or five. Because if you are like us, you will have a hard time deciding on just one.
Sydney’s makes the most incredible pies and, if you are not a cake person, like our groom, any one of the delectable offerings from Sydney’s Sweet Shoppe will make a perfect substi...
tute for a traditional wedding cake or cup cakes. We actually had both a cake and these amazing 3” single serving key lime pies (the groom’s favorite pie). They were individually boxed on which we added a beautiful wedding sticker. This enabled our guests to take them home and enjoy them later, if desired. The individual pies were placed on a tiered display on which we were able to include a bride and groom topper. We also ordered enough extra pies to gift each of the servers and workers at our event. I was not prepared for how much these often forgotten folk, who make the event run smoothly, appreciated such a gesture. The pies were a huge hit, and Sydney was a dream with which to work. The pies were not only the tastiest I’ve had, but they were quite reasonably priced. All in all I highly recommend pies, from Sydney’s Sweet Shoppe, for your next celebration!
Our wedding was in the fall and we had sampled a couple of cake tastings in Tucson and we were never blown away or even completely satisfied. We decided to try mini individual pies...
. We reached out to Sydney to see if she if she catered weddings or not and she said yes and scheduled us a tasting right away. She stayed late and kept the shop open so we could taste in private. After one bite we looked at one another completely blown away. We ordered 150 assorted flavors: key lime, banana cream, apple, pumpkin, and pecan 3” pies for our wedding. Our guests were not limited with just 1 flavor. We had also asked Sydney to make our main wedding cake and she made us the BEST carrot cake we have ever had! Sydney also provided the fixtures, delivered, and set up on our special day. They were able to made our special day even more special. Everyone at the wedding kept saying how awesome the pies were and asked where we got them! We would recommend going to Sydney’s for any event but especially your big day!
Sydney is super helpful and sweet, just like her pies! Pun aside, all of the pies we had were delicious, particular favorites being the key lime and Raspberry. Some pies are season...
al, but there are still plenty of options to choose from and the mini pies are definitely worth having at a wedding! We've gone back several times for non-wedding related treats.

Sydney and her staff were so professional and accommodating! From the pie tasting all the way to the set up, Sydney made the dessert portion of my wedding stress-free. Oh did I me...
