Owen Captures is a naturally warm and genuine person, and he put us both at ease so that he could capture our truest dynamic. Additionally, he provided such great direction (I never know what to do with my hands!) and chose gorgeous LA backdrops. His eye for detail is unparalleled, and among the many friends' photos I have looked at, I haven't seen the unique shots that we have. Our actual wedding day was so well-captured that I can't look at the footage without getting misty. We had some ideas on our mind, we wanted to make a video of all footage that we shot on our honeymoon and Dan did that, he is amazing! In fact, I think because of how often they shoot, they knew it was going to happen before we did. n Francisco Bay Area where we live and he recommended a few great spots to take photos. We coordinated schedules with him directly and we booked his flight. Cinestory was very flexible with us and communicated dates well ahead of time, which allowed us to work out the flight details. He brought a healthy gear with him for the session and gave us advice on what kind of shots typically work best and don’t work best. If you as a couple have ideas on where you want to go and what you’d like your photos to look like (poses, angle, etc... ) feel free to share that with them and they will accommodate. After the engagement session, the Cinestory team gave us the edited photos faster than expected. The pictures were excellent! In preparing for the big day, we had a planning session with them a week before to make sure they knew the exact location, time, needs, wants, nice to haves, yada yada yada. On the day of, they arrived early (which was a big help because other vendors arrived late, causing me - the groom - to momentarily become a groomzilla). Anyway, they arrived early, were dressed appropriately, and began to work right away. After they canvassed the wedding venue site, they came back to us and proposed a few places suitable for the first look. We did a first, second, and third look for photos, angles, and the drone (the drone shots look A-M-A-Z-I-N-G). The team was also great at making sure we enjoyed the moment, particularly during our couple-only pictures. As you will learn, wedding days are hectic and everyone wants to talk to the bride and groom leaving little to no alone time. The photographers were great at making sure we had space to take it all in by pulling us to the side here and there — this allowed them to take amazing shots and it gave us (the couple) time to enjoy our wedding day just the two of us. The photographers also worked wonders with our families and friends. They were funny and kept us entertained while they took pictures. Additionally, one of them spoke Spanish, which was really helpful since many of our family members only speak Spanish. All in all, we paid for the extra time and we had them for the entire day. I’m not sure how they were able to keep up with us from the very morning until after the sparkler exit. The pictures came out beautiful and we could not have asked for a better team to record our memories. Side story: we had a very good feeling from Cinestory after our engagement session that we recommended them to our friend, who threw two weddings, yes, two! Cinestory did both of their weddings and they too, picky bunch, had nothing but amazing things to say about their photos, videos, and overall experience. Highly recommend!

We decided to talk to him; our first impressions was that he was young and it made us a bit hesitant about his experience/expertise. Then he told us he's done zero Indian weddings before, and this would be his first. It made us rather hesitant in the beginning, but something about him made us want to take a risk. Two months leading up to the wedding, we corresponded back and forth explaining the cultural aspects, what type of video we would want, etc. If you have a plan in mind how you want your viceo, he is very accommodating and wants to make your vision a reality. Dan did his own research, and was very methodical in his approach. Dan was very patient, sincere, and professional to work with. Day of the wedding, CineStory team, and knew exactly what they were doing. They were fun, friendly, and very pleasant. We just got the highlights video today, and were extremely impressed! He found a way to tie everything in nicely, just the way we were hoping for. Moral of the story, don't look anywhere else. Call Cinestory! We wish him all the luck!

We knew they would be the ones to capture our special day, in our venue, just how we wanted. We had a destination wedding in Mexico and the team fly out and stay with us. They went above and beyond all our expectations and was completely professional and amazing! Scouted out locations and found the best places for our photos. We could not have picked a better service for our wedding and our photos and video are absolutely stunning. They captured the most stunning candids. It's so hard to pick our favourite pictures because there are just so many good ones! My husband and I can't help but look over our photos and film all the time because he was able to capture such an amazing day/trip, and you can really see all of our guests enjoying the evening through his work. the look and feel of what they do. Very personal and fun. I contacted them and we lucked out in them being available. Dan was on video and Owen Captures was the main photographer (along with a 2nd photographer). Dan checked in a few weeks before the wedding to see if we needed anything. We also went over our timeline and he was able to give us some outstanding tips on certain parts of the timeline (who knows the timing of a wedding better than someone who works at them every weekend?!). On the day of the wedding the Cinestory team was with us for bride and groom prep, ceremony, toasts, first dances and reception. It was a long day with about 200 guests and two locations. They were cool, calm and collected all day. Stayed in control of the situations when it was needed (group shots), and were like flies on the wall at other times (ceremony, toasts). They really knew their stuff. The final products of photography and videography were as good as anything we saw on their website. As I said - THEY ROCK!!

We were told we would get our photos in 3-4 weeks and a week after our big day (getting depressed it was over) we received around 20 shots he had already edited and asked our opinion on, just to make sure we were happy with the progress. I don't typically like 1/50 shots I'm in and I LOVED them all so much! The lighting, the shots, the angles were so above my expectations I can't even find words. I not only suggest you use them for your big day, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you do! I almost forgot to mention one of my absolute favorite parts of Dan's work...the VIDEO! OMG!!! Talk about talent! We went with photography and videography with a second shooter. To be honest, I did't even think about getting a videography before seeing some of their highlights videos, and after all I am really glad that we got it. The pictures came out amazing, and relatively quickly, as well as the video. The quality is really high end. We made an album later, it's like a magazine. Every time we show the video, everyone asks what kind of cameras the videographers used, cause it's just so good. They just know what they are doing, and most importantly, they do it with passion. t going to rely on our friends for photos. I'm so glad that we didn't! Dan got back to me in less than an hour confirming they were available, which took my stress level down considerably (I'm so glad the others we tried were booked!). We worked everything out that week, and I felt that he really wanted to make sure he understood us and what we were looking for in our wedding vibe (which was no easy task since my basic answer was "I dunno...?"). The package option was also the most affordable for us out of the countless ones we searched for. Owen, our photographer, was prompt (10 mins early - +100 points!), communicative, and charming. He instantly put me at ease, as I tend to be super awkward when getting photos taken. He was so easy-going he felt like one of our friends. He captured every moment we hoped, and then some. Owen was present without being intrusive. He also made the groom feel relaxed and was not pushy or fussy about the process, but made sure he got the shots he knew were golden. He was going for no-drama artistry, and achieved it. We now are fortunate enough to have the most stunning photos to remember our day. Working with them was really a dream- highly recommend them for their skill, as well as their awesome customer service!

My husband and I and all our family and friends love how the pictures and story video turned out.It was really important that the pictures captured the emotions of everyone there. And there were certain times (speeches/toasts/first dances) that we wanted for our video. Cinestory did exactly that perfectly. Also, I'm not the skinniest bride but I feel like I look beautiful in the pictures. My brother is getting married 2 months after my wedding, so now we are literally a few weeks out from my brother's wedding. My future sister in law loved our pictures by Owen Captures so much she booked her wedding with Cinestory. Dan thanked me for the referral but I just said his work speaks for itself. I can't think of a bigger compliment as a professional artist than someone changing their major wedding vendor last minute just to get the best!

Dan texted me afterwards asking for music choices saying he was biting at the bit to start the editing, and he even told us our wedding day was his favorite that he had shot out of the hundred he had done to date. Dan was on video and Owen Captures was the main photographer (along with a 2nd photographer). Dan checked in a few weeks before the wedding to see if we needed anything. We also went over our timeline and he was able to give us some outstanding tips on certain parts of the timeline (who knows the timing of a wedding better than someone who works at them every weekend?!). On the day of the wedding the Cinestory team was with us for bride and groom prep, ceremony, toasts, first dances and reception. It was a long day with about 200 guests and two locations. They were cool, calm and collected all day. Stayed in control of the situations when it was needed (group shots), and were like flies on the wall at other times (ceremony, toasts). They really knew their stuff. The final products of photography and videography were as good as anything we saw on their website. As I said - THEY ROCK!!

When I came across Cinestory I immediately knew I was on to something. The look of their video and photo work is great. It's just the style I knew she would like; sharp, clean, professional and polished. I thought they were going to be out of price range, but was pleasantly surprised that they offer very reasonable rates for their packages. I showed their site to the bride and she loved it! Once I got the green light, I followed up. Dan (Videographer) and Owen (photographer) were great. Easy to communicate, very quick to respond with answers as well as suggestions. The couple booked Cinestory for their engagement shoot as well as the wedding. Everything ended up coming out great. The engagement photos were on display at the wedding, and the wedding photos are now on display in their house, as well as all over all the bridal party and guests social media pages. Everyone has new updated photos thanks to Cinestory capturing every person and every angle of the wedding. If you're trying to narrow down your choice - Cinestory is it!

To be honest, I did't even think about getting a videography before seeing some of their highlights videos, and after all I am really glad that we got it. The pictures came out amazing, and relatively quickly, as well as the video. The quality is really high end. We made an album later, it's like a magazine. Every time we show the video, everyone asks what kind of cameras the videographers used, cause it's just so good. They just know what they are doing, and most importantly, they do it with passion. ing. We hired a team of 2 videographers and had our close friend as a photographer, not only they coordinated with each other, but they also united with our photographer. In the end of the reception Dan asked us if we want to shoot more, he didn't look tired, even though it was a 10 hour package. It was so obvious that they were passionate about making our wedding video. They also used a drone, and while doing that, second shooter didn't stop shooting. Watching the video, it is so great to see all emotions and feelings. We are so glad that we decided to hire CineStory Films to make our wedding video. Thank you!

wanted to take some maternity shots in the concrete jungle of Downtown LA. We wanted cool/modern style. Dan's approach is professional yet very personable so we had fun. He surveyed the area for specific spots before we met and that made things quick and easy. When taking photos, he said to be ourselves, and those photos came out the best, we also followed some references we found on Pinterest, but when we didn't know what to do, Dan also gave lots of great posing ideas. The photos were sent very quickly and they were amazing and magazine quality type. He has a good eye and definitely talented. The pictures exceeded our expectation and the variety of the pictures was a great bonus. On the wedding day Dan and his team did amazing job! They cooperated with each other as they've worked together for a while, giving one another opportunities to take roles, cause as we found out, posing for photography and videography is slightly different. We were very happy with their photography and videography so that we asked them to save a date for our friends wedding. Highly recommend.

Cinestory films are so good that my two toddler twin brothers, who move around constantly, were not only caught on camera, but several precious photos of them were taken! ing the bank. We almost scrapped photography/videography from our event just because everybody else is charging ridiculously. Then, I stumbled upon CineStory Films. Dan and his team (Owen & Jagor-not sure of spelling) were very professional and easy to work with. They make you feel at ease during the shoot and know how to make it fun. They were able to accommodate when we had to extend our hours. Dan included drone footages for our video highlight, which was really awesome. Others would’ve charged extra for that. A lot of people liked our wedding highlights video and I’ve watched it a hundred times already. Haha… We would also like to especially give a shout-out to Dan. When we first met up with him, our first thought was “Whoa, he is so young!” But young as he is, such a talented fella. And it’s only going to get better from here because he’s very eager and passionate about his craft.
