Our vocalist learned four songs for our ceremony ranging from something from Beach House to Taylor Swift and she nailed each one. You might not think you need live music for your cemeony, but you're wrong. Having live music made the transitions between songs easy and it was so beautiful to hear our favorite songs live as we walked down the asile.

e and it was so fun hearing our songs live. After the ceremony, Ben quickly transitioned to his DJ station, and played music for us throughout the cocktail hour, dinner, and the dance party! We requested many songs and Ben was able to play anything and everything we requested. We love EDM and Ben was able to make our reception everything we hoped for by playing some typical reception music and then turning the night into the dance party we dreamed of! We had such a blast dancing the night away with our friends and family and couldn't have asked for better music. Ben will provide anything for ask for and more. I highly recommend Ben and his team for all your wedding day music needs!

to play two songs, Lazy Eye by the Silversun Pickups and Bloom by the Paper Kites, for us acoustically while we walked down the aisle. After our first dance, we invited all guests to come up to dance to Stand By Me as a tribute to my deceased mother. Ben had the beautiful idea of changing the lighting to add stars across the dance floor. It truly felt like my mother was there with us in that moment. Afterwards, he had the dance floor packed all night. One of my favorite moments was when Time Of My Life came on, and Ben had left a mic on the dance floor. Everyone got together started dancing and singing the lyrics at the top of our lungs. All of our guests still talk about how it amazing it all was!

Ben and his partner played the guitar and violin beautifully to set an enchanting mood to the beginning of our celebration, one our guests cannot stop talking about. phone conference with Ben we could tell he knew his stuff and would be the perfect fit for us. We had multiple phone meetings with him, in person meeting with an acoustic sample of what he would play at our cocktail hour, and easy payment and scheduling online. Ben set up a violinist along with himself to play at our reception. It was AMAZING!! Beyond our wildest dreams! All of our guests RAVED about how wonderful it was. Ben also worked with us to spice up our "dance party" with helping us to hire a Saxophonist to play along side the DJ music. He even sent us a mix tape before to help us with our decision. That added just a bit more magic to our already magical day. Ben picked the best music and worked so well with exactly what we wanted. We wanted to keep the party going because Ben did such a great job, unfortunately we had to stop due to noise ordinance issues. At then end of everything Ben even played my Dad's favorite song on the guitar for us to wrap up the night. Once again, we can not thank Ben and Kat enough for all of their hard work. Absolutely do not hesitate to hire them for your wedding, they will make it even better than you could ever imagine!!!

lanned for our ceremony fell through 2 weeks before our wedding. Ben and Kat came through with everything I needed! Kat made the whole process of picking out songs SO easy ( I am extremely indecisive) and had the most wonderful attitude and was such a ray of sunshine especially since I had thrown a lot at them the week prior. And Ben!!! Freaking Ben was incredible, I had SO MANY guests rave about him. He was open to so many requests by guests and it flowed so wonderfully. He played guitar for our ceremony and as my bridal party and I were taking pictures he walked around with us playing acoustic guitar and it was the best. And!! During reception he broke out a drum and killed it playing right along side a song and let some of our groomsmen take a whack at it. They also got us our custom neon sign which was absolutely stunning!!! I am obsessed and they did the uplighting. Honestly I will never forget this night and I am enthralled Kat and Ben were a part of it. I would recommend them over and over until my lungs give out they are THAT incredible. I love you guys so much and can tell you love being in this business, thank you thank you THANK YOU.

I never had to worry about the music, if people could request songs, if people had mics for speeches, if people could hear us giving our vows. Not ONE concern about any of it crossed my mind! He was really responsive when I first booked him, but towards the wedding I felt like emailing him I didn't get responses which ultimately ended up in a small mess up for a surprise dance my dad and I had planned so I can't give a full five stars. We did have an epic dance party and the dance floor was overflowing with guests!

very single request we had which was especially wonderful for my new husband and I as we're both very indecisive and changed our minds about several aspects of the wedding multiple times. He offered a ton of advise throughout the wedding planning process. Ben was more than willing to learn new music for us, as we had him play live acoustic music for our ceremony, along with a violinist. We had a more complicated song by Sigur Ros as the bridal entrance song and he was more than willing to accommodate. He definitely added a very classy and personal touch to the ceremony with his music. When it came time for the reception, he kept people out on the floor all night! He was super respectful of our "do not" and "must" play lists and his music and lighting really set the stage for a great dance party. He brought out his infamous bongo drum and allowed my guest to play, which was a HUGE hit, and kept things interesting. He took the time to check in with my husband and me to make sure we were comfortable and happy the whole evening--even stepping out from behind his booth to check on me after one of my bridesmaids spilled her glass of champagne on my wedding dress. He definitely deserves his 5 star rating, I would recommend him to ANYONE getting married in the Asheville area!

Ben was thoughtful, considerate, prompt in planning/ responses, and delivered everything we had hoped and more - including having a fantastic personality for the event itself. The guitar performance was awesome and served as the perfect mood setter - and he learned 4 new songs in just a few months beforehand. Ben even added a snippet of a Hawaiian song to be played in the ceremony at our request, with little notice, as there was a mention of the Hawaiian Honeymoon in the ceremony. It was a really nice touch. You can absolutely put all of your music needs in the hands of Ben. We give him the strongest recommendation possible...Thank you Ben!

planning points! He gave us insight on some things that we hadn't even thought about. We hired him to not only be a reception DJ, but to also play acoustic guitar for our ceremony and cocktail hour. I am such a music geek and when I asked Ben if he could learn a couple of songs for us, it was no problem. I was so completely nervous before walking down the aisle (mainly about tripping on my dress and falling), but when I heard the song the I had requested start playing, I focused on how beautifully he was playing and my worries went away. Once the dance time started, he became the life of the party, even playing the bongos for one song! He joined in on the Cupid Shuffle which got everyone out on the floor. He made sure to play all of the songs that I requested and avoided the ones I wanted to avoid (the chicken dance...). He obliged my mom when she asked that he play a slower song so our parents and grandparents could get out and dance. He kept the flow of the party going and was a wonderful MC. Also, his lighting set up really set off the room! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

however anytime we brought up one he already knew it. We met him at a coffee shop to interview him for the gig and we had random strangers joining in on the songs and knew it was meant to be. He also did the DJing for the reception and he is just awesome, totally charismatic and right on cue with everything - it could not have been better. We had an outdoor wedding in 100+ degree heat and near 100% humidity and he toughed it out and made it enjoyable for all our guests. He provides all his own equipment, all you have to do it hire him and let him know your plans for the day and he will even work with you and give you feedback and ideas on what usually works and what doesn't. After working with Ben we would not only hire him again in the future, but we became friends in the process. He is really the best out there. No contest at all.

They were more than willing to accompany her for the song and it sounded beautiful! They also played during our cocktail hour and dinner and it created the perfect atmosphere. Ben also DJ'd for us during the evening! I have never danced so much in my life and the dance floor was full the entire time! I had so much fun and my family/friends were having a fantastic time as well. I am so happy we chose Ben and Michael! I couldn't have imagined anyone better than them!
