I have an adorable Brindle Boxer named Clyde, who is the love of my life, and who occasionally gets to tag along with me to work (so you just might get to meet him ;). I have a passion for dance and an even bigger passion for people, I love working with couples and helping others to reach their goals!

I am originally from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, my passion for dance has taken me on a journey across various styles and stages including ballet, tap, jazz, modern, traditional Indian dance, fire palm and fan dance, and of course - ballroom. Now 28, I continue to share my expertise as an instructor at the Martell School of Dance in Akron as well as for my nonprofit - Phoenix Performing Arts. My dance journey extends beyond the classroom. I continue to perform and choreograph as freelance dancer and artist locally and with several companies including Adrija Dance, Divine Harmony Entertainment, but most notably - Cleveland Dance Project were she has been for more than seasons. My affinity for ballroom was ignited during my early dance experiences with my husband, as we prepared for our first dance together. Since then, I have delved into a myriad of ballroom styles, with a special affection for the expressive foxtrot and the passionate tango – a dance form I myself continue to actively explore and perfect. I have a cute and chunky American Bulldog by the name of Koda who will be turning 2 but thinks he is still 5 weeks old and wants to sit in my lap. I love working with couples, individuals, line dancing, hip-hop or any genre of dance. I cannot recommend Tabitha enough! We decided (ok, I agreed) to do a choreographed dance only a little over a month before our wedding, so I wasn't sure how much we could get done....
In just 5 lessons, Tabitha taught us basic steps, had us doing fun lifts and dips, and still had time to work on general wedding dancing with us. She was kind, patient, and fun to work with. We were also able to schedule all the lessons around our work schedules, which was great. We didn't want to just stand and sway, and Tabitha made sure our first dance was one to remember, for us and for our guests.

Follow the advice, it is such a good idea to get dance lessons for your wedding, and Tabitha truly makes it accessible for all. She is also very personable, and my bride and I had a lot of fun/laughs during the sessions. We surprised ourselves by what we were able to do, and all the credit goes to Tabitha!
We would recommend getting dance lessons at Tabitha to anyone getting married in Northeast Ohio. She will make the whole process way less intimidating, fun, and bring a lot of joy to both you and your guests.

and fully anticipated hating every second of it, however our lessons with Tabitha quickly became a weekly highlight and welcome date for both of us. Tabitha is so fun and so easy to work with, and is very willing to take feedback on what she choreographs to make you feel true to yourself in your dance and not like you're rehearsing a choreographed routine. Somehow she took people who quite seriously cannot dance at all and in just over a month transformed them into two people who were endlessly complimented on their first dance! Our wedding planner even told us it was one of the best first dances she had ever seen and asked who we had used. Highest recommendations for anyone looking for lessons, even if you just want to learn basics and not a large choreographed dance :)

Tabitha was a kind and patient teacher who made us feel extremely relaxed and not judged even while we initially struggled through very basic moves. ding dance. Tabitha worked with our schedules throughout the holiday season until we had our routine set. She was extremely helpful, patient, and fun! She taught us simple steps and then combined them in a way that was manageable for our skill set, matched up to the lyrics of our song, and ended up with a really beautiful finished product. After our first couple lessons I recommended Tabitha to my parents, who wanted to touch up on their dance moves, and they loved working with her too! We'll 100% be working with her again and hope you choose her to too, you won't regret it!

She was patient, catered her instruction to our various learning styles and levels of experience, and she chose choreography that was doable with the number of lessons we had for each dance (we only took once lesson each for the dances with our parents, but we got a package of classes for our first dance). The lessons beyond paid off! Especially for our first dance, everyone was SO impressed and loved all of the lifts and dips, and we had so much fun learning and performing the it for everyone at our reception! Highly recommend Tabitha.
