Taconic Ridge Farm is a countryside wedding venue located in Hillsdale, NY. A former dairy farm, this picturesque venue is situated amidst the rolling hills of the Taconic Range, close to the Catskill Mountains and the Berkshires. Offering a rustic barn and multiple ceremony sites, this venue allows you to celebrate your wedding surrounded by natural beauty. Taconic Ridge Farm has a number of event spaces within its 25 acres of scenic land. You may opt to exchange vows in an open field, or in a peaceful meadow surrounded by mature trees. You can also choose to enjoy your reception dinner outdoors if you wish. Alternatively, you can celebrate in the historic barn, which features a 31-foot ceiling, a stage, and ample space for dining and dancing. Bistro lights and a magnificent chandelier create the perfect warm, welcoming ambiance. There's also a pavilion just steps away, complete with a bar and a lounge area, for indoor-outdoor events. In total, Taconic Ridge Farm can host up to 200 guests. You'll be able to book the venue for the entire weekend, from your Friday rehearsal dinner to the day-after brunch on Sunday. Wedding packages include overnight accommodation for up to 16 people for two nights. Lodgings are available in the elegant Main House and a cozy cottage, with an additional off-site house available for another 16 people if desired. Tables and chairs will be provided for your ceremony and reception, and the venue can supply a list of recommended vendors to help with planning. The staff will take care of setup, and up to two staff members will be present during your event to provide support and assistance. Working with Taconic Ridge Farm from inquiry through event was an absolutely incredible experience. Pam, Jim and the entire team is extremely responsive, patient and warm in their responses to even the craziest questions. The team is very well organized and open to discussion of ways to help couples really make their wedding day their own which is a beautiful thing. Onsite, the team is a knowledgeable, dedicated, kind and cooperative machine. Our event was a huge success, and the TRF team was ready to partner as needed to ensure the best day ever for the bride and groom (and everyone involved in the event!). The beauty of the property truly speaks for itself. The layout is unique in the most wonderfully rustic but artistic way, and really creates an inclusive and welcoming space for celebration. And might I add the natural lighting as the day sets is actual magic. Looking for a cool, rustic, hidden gem? You've found your venue. We had a great wedding weekend experience at Taconic Ridge Farm. Out of all our vendors, they were the most on top of things - well prepared checklists, responsive communication and helping us think through the unusual plans we had. They really know their business, their area and their property and were instrumental in making our event a success. It was expensive but it was so nice to stay at the house on the same property as the venue. Their decor style is ON POINT. They were very responsive with communication and pleasant and helpful and the venue was just how I dreamt our wedding would be. Magical. Rustic bohemian farm nature-y.

We got married at Taconic Ridge Farm in May 2023 after an extensive venue search, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the grounds themselves to everyone that works there - the love and effort that goes into TRF was felt throughout every element. It’s a really special place and we were able to fully immerse ourselves in the weekend knowing the crew there had everything under control - they are true experts! Thanks again to Jim, Pam, Gary, Stefanie and the whole crew for an unforgettable weekend and taking such good care of us. We can’t wait to come back and stay :)

From start to finish, I cannot imagine a more stunningly beautiful, professionally run, and all around fabulous venue for our wedding. Jim, Pam, Gary, and the entire team at TRF went above and beyond to ensure the ease and enjoyment of our extended family and friends throughout our entire experience. We opted to arrive a few days early to take advantage of the gorgeous farm house and property, and our guests who stayed there were truly wowed by its charm and relaxed but high-quality spaces and vibe. The team was highly experienced with event oversight, providing a fantastic list of vendors to choose from for everything from flowers and cakes to event planners and bands. In fact, everyone we used were from their preferred vendor list, and each one delivered products and services that knocked our guests (and OUR) socks off! There are so many options for how to configure a wedding there, with multiple outdoor locations, plus a covered pavilion for a smaller covered service, or the big barn. From the moment I set foot in the barn, I knew that was where we would have our ceremony, and although it was unconventional (most choose outside), the TRF team couldn't have been more graciously supportive of my unique vision. With drinks and dinner outside, we had a scare for rain as we approached the wedding day, but we felt 100% prepared and calm, having planned ahead for our rain plan. In the end, the sun came out just in time, and the entire wedding was filled with a magical feeling that the skies over Taconic Ridge Farm had cleared for us all. That said, we would have had just as much fun there in the rain, because the barn, pavilion, and rolling fields are gorgeous in any weather, and there are multiple tent locations to choose from. The geography was also perfect for us -- SO convenient for friends and family, just a 2-hour drive from NYC and 2.5-hours from Boston, with train options close by, as well. We just can't say enough about this rustic, romantic oasis, where we were lucky enough to live out our dream wedding every step of the way. We've already reserved it for our 5th anniversary, we just have to go back :). My only caution is that they and other vendors in the area do book early. We booked 19 months ahead, so I recommend anyone considering them get in touch tout de suite. THANK YOU, TRF, WE LOVE YOU!!

The Taconic Ridge Farm team is amazing! As a vendor, they are so easy to work with. Their communication is amazing and quick. On the day of, they are on-site to answer questions and help with any needs. We can't wait to work with them again.

Our wedding at TRF couldn't have been better from start to finish. We wanted a casual but dressed up backyard vibe and they delivered. The views are gorgeous. There are so many different ways to setup the property and make it your own. This really is a unique venue without an insane price tag like many others we saw. We had a 70 people here but I bet it'd still feel lovely and intimate at 100-120 here. And it comes with so much!!! Let alone, Pam and Jim go above and beyond. They are an absolute delight to work with. We felt so comfortable with them the whole time. We really didn't want the process of getting married to get too stressful for us, and I think a major reason we were able to avoid that was Taconic Ridge Farm. Icing on the cake, our close friends stayed with us at the house on site for 2 days before and we had a blasssst with the place to ourselves. Really extended the good vibes and made the whole thing that much better. Highly highly recommend.

Taconic Ridge Farms gave us the fairy tale wedding we had always dreamed about. The venue was absolutely beautiful and the staff that works there was so helpful and extremely accommodating. The lodging at the main house and cottage were gorgeously decorated and such a nice place to wind down before and after our big day! We also utilized The Noble House so that our out of town gusts could stay nearby and they absolutely loved it there as well.

TRF is a fantastic location and well run venue. This is a professional team providing a fantastic rustic farm and barn setting. They have good relationships with vendors, multiple lodging options both on site and nearby. A few different options for ceremony and reception set up and flow are available with on site management. The location itself is amongst many other cultural destinations, restaurants, the Berkshires and the great outdoors! Hand Crafted is proud to have worked with this venue on some great celebrations!

From Vendor to Venue, you've done it right! When we work with clients that have booked (or planning to) their wedding at Taconic Ridge we are relieved to know they are in good hands. The Taconic Ridge Farm Wedding Venue offers an eclectic barn and beautiful grounds for you and your guests. Their weekend rental option allows couples to relax and enjoy the day leading up to and the morning following. We love catering to this venue, especially the clients we work with here. The Venue team is hands-on just enough to offer support without interfering with the client's experience and personal requests.

We had our wedding weekend at Taconic Ridge Farm and it was absolutely beautiful. There are so many options - from where you can host the ceremony to your dinner - and all are so scenic and romantic. It was the perfect mix of indoor/outdoor and the upscale rustic vibe we were looking for. The added bonus is there are two houses on the property: A 2-room cottage and a larger modern main house. The property owners and staff were really helpful every step of the way - from recommending vendors, to working out any issues to support day of. We can't speak highly enough of our experience.

Taconic Ridge Farm is a gorgeous wedding venue with an amazing team! They take immaculate care of the entire grounds and of the details throughout the wedding planning process. While offering tremendous guidance and support, they let you bring your unique ideas and style to their venue. We also loved that TRF is one of the few venues where you can stay onsite with your wedding party. I highly recommend Taconic Ridge Farm for your wedding or local event!

Taconic Ridge Farm was the perfect fit for us as we were looking for a place that would allow us to DIY a bit and add our own touches to make our wedding unique while still providing support throughout the process. Pam and Jim were so easy to work with from the very first time we reached out - they are super responsive, ready with lists of suggested vendors, and open to making your ideas work even if it's something that has never been done before. They have such a supportive attitude and make the whole process so much less stressful. Beyond the support from Jim and Pam, the venue itself is absolutely beautiful and worked perfect for what we were looking for. We loved have everything on site - from our ceremony to reception to the after party at the bonfire. Our guests were so impressed with this Hillsdale gem and loved being close to explore other great towns in the area.

This venue is a true gem! As a planner, I work from the beginning through the week-after with venues and their owners/managers. The TRF team are true pros — preparing well in advance with targeted communication, in-depth packet to assist in lodging, rentals, floor plans and a la carte services. They are personally a delight to collaborate with. Their property is picturesque and so intimately nestled in the landscape. Every client that we have worked with was utterly delighted with their day as were their families and guests.

I recently had the opportunity to work at Taconic Ridge Farm for one of my couples’ weddings and I can honestly say that it was one of the most beautiful and intimate venues I have ever been in. From the moment we walked arrived, I could tell this would be an unforgettable experience for all of us. The entire space was perfect for capturing the details of their special day. We were able to get amazing footage of every aspect, from lovely outdoor shots to unique decorations inside. Our couple was thrilled with how everything turned out, as were their guests. The staff at Taconic Ridge Farm also made our experience fantastic. They were helpful and accommodating throughout every part of planning and set up process. It was such a pleasant surprise! If you’re looking for an unforgettable rustic venue to host your big day that will provide lots of gorgeous photos and videos, look no further. You won’t be disappointed!

We absolutely loved our wedding at Taconic Ridge Farm. The venue was a perfect mix of polished and rustic, and the property has many different spaces to work with (barn, fields, pavilion, on-property housing, etc.) so we could tailor the space and guest experience just as we imagined it. The owners and staff are all extremely kind, helpful and easy to work with. Can't recommend this venue enough!
