Tae Chun Photography

Tae did my sister's wedding ten years ago, and we were happy with the results, so I decided to go with him again. Although he was hard to communicate with via email in the months leading up to the wedding, he was easy to communicate with via phone. Once we finally met up the week of the wedding, he was very friendly and easy to talk to and work with. I realized that though his English is great, his first language is Korean, which was a plus for us since our families are Korean, so we thought it would definitely help with the family photos. On the morning of the wedding, he got lost (then again, it was 430am in the darkness of Lai'e!), but he quickly got to work. He was definitely quick on his feet and worked hard to capture every moment of the day! By the end of the day, he was sweating profusely!! But he was very flexible and accommodating to meet all my requests, including some last minute shots of the garden ceremony site since we got there early. Some issues that did come up: We initially agreed on two photographers, but only he showed up that day, and I didn't realize it till the wedding was over. So make sure you clarify the second photographer if that is the arrangement. Also, he promised two weeks, but it took a month to receive my photos. If that is an issue, I would make it a point. But otherwise, I was overall very satisfied with his hard work and happy with the final results. I would still recommend him to my friends!!
