I scheduled to have my hair and my bridal party done for my June wedding back in November. I thought that would be plenty of time to get everything in order. Unfortunately their "B...
ridal Concierge" team is not very good. They were the one stressful thing about my wedding. I had to constantly reach out to get a reply (if I got one). I was never responded to when I asked in January to schedule my hair trail. I reached out in March for a timeline to make sure we would be done on time and I did not get a reply until 3 weeks before my wedding and everything was incorrect. The times were well after I said we had to be done, they added makeup which was not marked on the form, and did not have the right styles with the right person. I tried to speak with a manager and she pushed me off saying I had to deal with the bridal team even after sharing my frustration about them. I would NOT recommend using them for a wedding. It's unfortunate since I use to like the salon but they have gone down hill with customer service. Day of the lady at the front desk was annoyed I was not paying for everyone and that she had to refund me for some of my deposit. She kept saying I could pay for someone and they pay me back even after I said no.
I did love my stylist and she did a amazing job but the frustration of everything outweighs the day of service.
I got my hair and makeup done on my wedding day at Taj Salon & Spa. I did not have a bridal party and wanted a salon experience vs bringing someone onsite. Courtny helped me get sc...
heduled with both my trial and my day-of makeup and hair style. Bailey did a good job doing my updo - she worked with my natural hair and listened well to my feedback along the way.
I was especially impressed with Rebekah, my makeup artist. I was very nervous about getting my makeup done, as I had never had that service before. During my trial, Rebekah was very patient with me as we tried different shades and looks, as I didn't have a firm picture of what I wanted yet. I am so glad we did the trial so that she could emulate that on the day of without stressing about what colors to pick. My makeup looked great that day - like me, but better! And it lasted all day and night. I'd recommend Taj Salon & Spa to others looking for wedding stylist services.
We couldn't be happier with the bridal makeup and hair services provided by Taj! From start to finish, they were amazing. Courtny was such a joy to work with in coordinating the de...

I hired Vanessa and Courtny from Taj for bride and bridal party on-site hair and makeup. We could not have been happier with this decision. Highly recommended! The prices were very...
reasonable compared to other salons, especially for on-site services. Our wedding day schedule required us to start hair and makeup by 7am, and Vanessa and Courtny arrived promptly and were ready to start on time. They worked quickly, but did not rush, and actually finished our servuces ahead of schedule, giving us time to relax for a bit before the photographer arrived! We looked amazing and our updos made it through the long day without any trouble at all.
I had the pleasure of working with Taj twice for my ceremony and reception due to COVID-19. Both times myself and bridal party had a fantastic experience. I was unable to do a tria...

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Taj Salon in Brooklyn Park for my wedding day. I do not usually wear makeup, and tend to have sensitive skin, but Jasmine ...
was patient and helped come up with a beautiful look that felt like "me" but my most beautiful self. Vanessa's half-up-do was absolutely gorgeous. Everyone at Taj was super friendly, and made our group look and feel absolutely beautiful.

reciated Tessa's bilingual skill set & would recommend Tessa & the Taj team to everyone
Everyone at Taj was helpful, attentive and well worth every cent that we paid! they were even willing to bring my usual stylist from Minneapolis to the Brooklyn Park location which...
was wonderful. Everyone loved their hair and a few of the girls still had their hair styled the day after (that's how well it held, even in 90 degree weather!). The main thing that I appreciated was the fact that even though there were 3 other bridal parties in the salon, it felt like we were receiving their full attention.
I usually see Deb for facials. She's fabulous. Really knowledgeable and very kind. Doesn't make you nervous. They are a little expensive but I really would recommend a couple visit...
s with Deb before your big day. Helped my skin out big time. Deb is so excited about her products and what she does that she does talk a little too much during the facial. But she's super open to feedback so don't be afraid to remind her you're here for relaxation. She takes the cue super nicely.
The stylists and make-up artists did a beautiful job on the whole bridal party. We enjoyed the breakfast and mimosas that they provided as well.

I felt and looked like a model with Taj! I booked for 4 people and you received a wedding day 10% discount. I saw Angie and she was great, did a trial as well and we only improved ...
on that from there. Us girls got mimosas and muffins as well while getting pampered! My make up artist Emily made me feel like a model! Flawless makeup that lasted the night- I would highly recommend her services!
I come here (Brooklyn Park location) for my regular hair cut/color/etc. It was a no-brainer that this is where I was going to get my wedding hair and makeup done. They did the hair...
and makeup for myself, my whole wedding party and both moms (total of 8 women). They accommodated all of us very well. They had little muffins and mimosas for the group to have during our appointment. Everyone at this salon is so wonderfully talented I am never nervous about going to a different stylist within the salon. I actually am living out in California right now, and when I come back home to visit I always make sure I schedule a hair cut with Taj. It's hard to find a great stylist, and I've found many at Taj. You will not regret going here. The cost is a little pricey, but it's worth the money for the quality and service you receive.
